I get your point, but the Bible doesn't specifically forbid the wife from working. In fact, Proverbs 31 mentions her going into the marketplace, purchasing land etc. The Bible speaks more to her priority of her role as wife/mother in addition to the work that she does. Just my $0.02.

Mostly just typical AWALT, going from agreeing to something and then changing her mind depending on her emotional state.

Just FYI, mine was amicable as well, but it's funny how stuff keeps coming up. Going on almost a year now.

Having gone through this recently myself; read, lift, read, work on the car, read, work on the house/apt., read, go for a bike ride, go to the movies/park/museum/new restaurant. Pick up a new hobby, there's a lot more to do than you think, make yourself busy. Get off of the internet, it's a time waster. Can pretty much guarantee that it's going to be longer than a few weeks.

The way I see it, it was her choice to go get the car. Don't see how it affects you. If she wanted you to go get the car, then she should have asked. Your first response to offer it, although not entirely off base, is contributing to your carrying the majority of the load. You make yourself available for the busy work, and you're getting it. Remember, good leaders are great at delegating and empowering their subordinates. And so should you.

So, just playing devil's advocate here, I am assuming that new wife knows how to handle herself in the event of your passing? Or being from the financial sector you already have a plan in place? Can't tell you how many calls I get from the surviving spouses of people who say they have no idea what to do now that the other person is deceased. "They did all of that stuff, and now I don't even know where to begin..."

What? Wait a minute. I thought that women were empowered and didn't need men because, you know, equality.

Whenever I hear the term "sap" I always think of Sir Mix-a-Lot. One of his lyrics: "But I ain't the one to get played the sap, When I hit the sack Big Richard is capped. Your man's a punk for leavin kids with you, the baby is cute, but don't call me da-da."

After my divorce from a 15 year marriage, and seeing my brother go through the same AWALT bullshit. I have decided to go my own way. Where most guys are thinking about settling down in their 30's, I've already done that. I don't like who I am as a settled man. Great part is I have two young men that I can show this to, and let them decide for themselves if they want to go this way or not.

At some point you come to realize that it's just science. Certain chemicals get released under certain conditions and create "emotion". But you have to come to a place where you remember, that emotions lie. Every. Single. Time.

IMO one of the things that I typically struggle with is "being in the moment". Sure you're mgtow, but you can still have a good time regardless of where you are at. You can still be happy for someone who is doing what they want, even if according to your thoughts they are throwing it all away. That's why we have free will. We're not going to agree with everyone else, and they won't agree with us. Mgtow imo is not about "hating women". I see it as being able to still exist in a world that is skew…

I use an app called sideline, that way I don't have to give out my real number. You have to use it regularly otherwise they give the number to someone else. Friends and close family get the real number, everyone else gets sideline.

And this is a perfect example of why alt phone number apps exist.

but aren't the laws of power created to enable someone to have more power? The whole point here is that he is in a position that he has limited power, but he has some. To stand up and do what he wants would, true, give him more power but it would be short lived. I think he would be better off for the long slow burn more-so than the short flare up and extinguish.

It's simple, just take thinking and rational thought, and throw it out the window. You'll be the perfect husband!

It's like in "Step Brothers" once you clear the deck, there's so much room for activities! I picked up long distance cycling again. Not to mention spending time with my young men, and teaching them the finer points as to what it really means to be a man.

This goes for anyone. It's not just women. Every interaction should be viewed as if you have been read your Miranda rights. Anything you say can, and will be used against you.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
