Clearly you missed the part where I said I wasn't an expert.

It is feasible for me. I (perhaps wrongly) assumed it was the same for most women. I know that the group of girls I used to hang out with felt the same way. But like I said, I may be deluded and my friends and I are all the weird ones.

Yep. Like I said, most of the stuff on this subreddit is great. It was just a few comments that made me think it would be worthwhile to post my opinion, and that's all it is: my opinion.

I wasn't trying to bash, I promise. I'm going on what little information I have been able to glean in a few days of skimming through the posts here and the stuff I remember from Mystery's show, and being a single woman in the club/bar/whatever.

Makes sense. Maybe I misunderstood when it was supposed to be used, etc. But don't always assume that hot = inflated female ego.

most girls may THINK they know PUA techniques, but unless it's a shitty PUA at work, they'll never see it coming. That's the whole point. You have a good point, there. You're right, it's all fair game and I definitely wasn't trying to insinuate that women are innocent. It's awesome for me to see this perspective, too. Thanks.

It's all good. Like I said, I am only giving my personal view and opinion based on experience, here. I'm not speaking for every woman. If I am wrong, cool. Maybe I am the odd one.

I think you have me all wrong. I said that most of the advice in seddit is legit, and it's great. In no way was I being hateful or insulting, I made that clear. I just wanted to give a different perspective than what is usually given in this subreddit, based on just the stuff I have seen over the past few days. And you're right, hell yeah I like being picked up. I didn't say a word about meaningful relationships. I made it clear I was talking about just getting laid. I don't hate anything about …

It's not a one-sided blame game, I know guys are taught to be assertive and Prince Charming and all that, too. I just wanted to give you guys the other side of the coin, thinking maybe it would make it easier to understand women.

I'm glad to hear that.

I'll give you that - women are just as much to blame as the guys for there being a "game" in the first place. Like I said, take it with a grain of salt. I'm not trying to start a gender war, here.

I can see how it would look like that if you hadn't been raised as a girl. It's not like our parents and teacher are overtly telling us this stuff. But because of Hollywood and the way women are portrayed, we grow up with a sense of comparison to that. It's okay to an extent, it gives incentives to take care of yourself. But have you seen the Barbies and Disney Princess dolls that little girls play with, and want to be like so badly? Take it for what it's worth, I'm not saying anything negative …

I don't hate the game or the players, I'm just giving another perspective. Maybe some girls are trying to prove themselves by only getting with cocky guys who try too hard to be assholes. But what does that mean? Exactly what I said, they already have a self-esteem issue. It's just propagating the cycle of confidence issues for both the guys and girls involved. It doesn't have to be a game, and I think the fact that is looked at as a game is what is so intimidating to both the guys and the girls…

You'll probably encourage your friends to be more social with girls, as well. Good luck! :)

Girl here. I'm new to this subreddit (just heard about it today, had to check it out) so I don't know if I am breaking some kind of code by even being here, but a lot of the advice here is...frightening. I'd like to start pursuing more women but it's tough to do when I lack the drive to talk to someone I don't know. This sentence doesn't make sense to me. Your desire to pursue more women should be the drive to talk to someone you don't know. As soon as you realize that, problem should be solved.…

Why does it make you angry? Women aren't allowed to reject you?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
