Feminism started as a women's movement. It has grown to be everyone's movement. As soon as anything has "fem" in it, it's deemed stupid, and suddenly we're whiny feminazis. Destigmatizing the term is a huge part. I've never met a single person, feminist or not, who has said that. It's not a hate movement, you just desperately want to believe so because it has "fem" in the title. It's not a movement for women, it's a movement for equality for everyone. Some don't quite have the right idea, but again, I've never seen a feminist say that.

Feminism doesn't ignore mens issues. Some feminists don't have the right idea. Making fun of men for the size of their genitals absolutely isn't okay. You're right, it's comparable to making fun of women's breast size
