This is so gross. I developed young and started getting attention from grown men as a 12-13 year old. My parents wouldn't let me date anyone luckily, though I was boy crazy. I still remember being 18 and working as hostess at a restaurant where I had huge crushes on the older bartenders and waiters who were in their 20s. "Bless them" for being "good guys". They used to tease me by saying things like "when I was in school learning fractions, you were a fetus!" It made me mad, but I now even more …

Agreed. I had a woman gyn who constantly fat shamed me. Switched to a man in the same practice and I've had a positive experience in that he listens to my concerns and follows up. But that should be like, the bare minimum.

Yes!!! And 14 year old girls should never HAVE to be mature for their age. They should be having fun in those precious years between childhood and adulthood. The pressure to be grown up is wild! I've noticed my neices (and nephews too actually) trying to shuck their tweendom before they barely hit double digits to emulate people they see on YouTube and TikTok. It's a bummer.

This is so true. I would LOVE to have a wife to support my life choices. Instead, I'm still looking for a husband who will au least meet me halfway.

It makes me feel sad when women are made to feel "less than" about their own bodies for any reason. Yes, body modification exists and people do it for all sorts of reasons to varying degrees, but at the end of the day, not to sound cheesy, it really is what's on the inside that counts. No one but you gets to decide what makes you feel like a woman, or look womanly. Big boobies, Itty bitty titties, no breasts at all.... Those are physical features. Those can and do, come and go. The male gaze, po…

Lowly MA w/a 6-figure salary over here. Still doesn't matter. Some men will literally only see you for your parts. Because that is all women are to them. Build a b*tch parts. Whatever they can try to do to make themselves feel like they have BDE, and have power over a woman, they'll try it. But it gets so damn old. The insecurity by some of these dudes is embarrassing for them, but then it makes it take longer to sift through potential matches, having to look for the red flags to pop up. Because…

I've been negged by men before about this (I have huge boobs). They have brought up the "research" study about how more successful men supposedly prefer women with small boobs, insinuating that I'm obviously only going to be seen as attractive to poor, blue collar men and not rich men. People like what they like, and I am always going to have huge boobs unless I get a reduction, so that kind of dialog is pure misogynistic BS. No one gets to call being attracted to me or someone of my build slumm…

I have used Google Voice numbers for years now. It's nice because you can pick your area code and link it to your normal number. I've also found it useful for telemarketers and signing up for free trials etc. You can set up a normal voicemail and everything. Definitely put your safety first and have boundaries. Things like your name and phone number can be used for identity theft too, better to wait to give the real contact details out until you really know a person. Never fall for pressure from…

Just listened to the audiobook of Stay Sexy and Don't Get Murdered. There's a whole chapter called Fuck Politeness, and it's becoming my mantra. Listen to your gut and fuck politeness!

The more I've started doing this in all aspects of my life, the better I feel. It's a powerful thing to respect your own boundaries, but it's a muscle some of us need practice flexing.

You better believe he is on dish duty. I'm not always good at sharing either, but I do like the intimacy it can build whet approached as a team activity vs as an expected chore. I have definitely noticed a difference in the quality of relationship when I don't swoop in and do the cooking and cleaning. I can still be nurturing without becoming his mother, especially since so many men have mama issues that the last thing I want to do is be compared to his mom.

I only do it on special occasions as a part of a romantic evening. Not an every day/weekly routine thing. They should never expect it. Otherwise if we are staying in and cooking, you better believe he has a cutting board in his hands and is doing his part. 😉

I'm 37 and people always think I'm in my late 20s. A lot of it is just genes.

I've gotten bloodcots that led to bilateral pulmonary embolism. I almost died. No more birth control for me, any man coming my way needs to wrap it up or forget it. Don't get me started on the jerks who have tried to argue with me about this, and been asked to leave.

Reminds me that not too long ago men could put their wives into asylums for having pms, or reading too much. Many probably wish they still could.

I know plenty of women who would be into you, my cousin is tiny but loves "big boys". Don't focus so much on getting laid, focus on connecting, and you'll get lucky. I'm a big girl myself, and I've found it's all about confidence and connection. You're cute and seem to have a lot going for you, so take the stress off yourself and be more in the moment when you're meeting women.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
