yah, the whole, I'm willing to do all the chores and you can just watch TV and that'll induce dread, just doesn't fly with me. much better I think to reward good behavior and make sure things like going out to eat that evening doesn't happen if the chores didn't get done. Isn't that how dad would have done it? A strong father figure wouldn't do your chores for you and pretend you didn't exist.

I'm noticing a lot of Red Pill / Blue Pill stuff in Seinfield. The episode where George wears a wedding ring to a party is a pretty funny example.

to much fucking pedestal nonsense going on around here. She's had two kids and is past the wall, once you improve, she'll have you appreciate you, none of this "she is a good woman and it isn't her fault" crap needs to be talked about. Yes, you need to focus on your shit, but that doesn't mean you need to idealize her and absolve her of all her faults, and she has many.

Damnit, I wanted to be drunk uncle. Red men go to bed late & rise early, there’s no rest for the Wicked. can take a break for a few days sure, but resting is very important for building muscle for those of us not at the top of our SMV route, probably important to make sure the holidays don't derail progress. Lifted yesterday, going to lift Monday, same schedule as if christmas didn't exist.

unless you were sitting down at the tea party table and letting the little girls do your hair and talking about your fee fees you weren't a childhood beta. more likely you punched them and said "tag your it" and ran off.

I've not been able to see those posts and not laugh thinking the exact same thing. The only thing I can hope is that these guys are actually doing some hobby they love and then just bragging about the xmas gift they made. I know his wife wont appreciate the time spent on it, but maybe it allowed him to be scarce for awhile and use tools in the garage or something.

So, my wife can handle technology fine, and generally I don't interfere, but as someone who has been on reddit a couple years before her, I finally just created an account for her so her front page could be things she was interested in. Awhile back I dug out the password and rearranged her 50 subs. I added /r/RedPillWomen at that time. I hadn't thought about it for awhile, until we were at a concert and she said something like "I'm a red pill woman". I'm not sure either of us knew what that mean…

I'm doing the best I can by keeping the house clean, taking care of the munchkin, and cooking dinner, but this position as house bitch hasn't done me any favors. and why would it. When I was out of work, my wife acted like she was supporting us, even though I still brought home more money than she did. I don't know your exact details, but if you are still bringing in income (from whatever source) and still getting the manly shit done around the house like the lawn and the gutters and what not, t…

This is exactly where the phrase "act like you would if you were single" comes into play.
/r/askMRP19/12/16 08:23 PM

I like the "live my life as if I were single" mantra, but I dislike how in practice it means that my wife, or roommate as the case may be, doesn't do the dishes, or cooks, or cleans, or takes care of the yard, or the cars, or the bills, etc etc. I think this clashes with the IDGAF mentality as well. If she doesn't do her part taking care of things around the house then we have major problems. A good First-mate does her share.

To pile on this, yes, she needs to be attracted and interested in you, and even more so she needs to be interested in some of your interests. Which is why good default dates are always something you were going to do anyway. Hey I'm going rock climbing on Saturday you wanna come with. Now it's a date, but if she says no you are still going rock climbing anyway, you don't change up your date idea just to figure out something she likes. Next time you are doing something interesting that you think s…

Sounds like major growth and improvement and I applaud you for that. But I don't know how you could even contemplate having kids with a woman who was okay with not having sex for 4 months.

How was your day? Fucking fantastic! STFU... and wander off into the other room to change clothes or whatever nightly chores need to get done...
/r/askMRP16/12/16 03:52 PM

are we really suppose to spend 10-15 minutes each talking about our day? I'll let her blow off any steam or work drama she wants, but ideally, I shouldn't need to tell her about my day unless something really interesting happened that's not work related.
/r/askMRP16/12/16 02:40 PM

agreed. I'm not sure the rule applies to men. Perhaps for men, the rule is more like "would you care if your wife found out about this" as you aren't suppose to be telling your wife all about your days and nights all the time anyway. If I go out with the guys and we end up at a strip club, its okay to not mention that when she asks about the night. Not that my wife would care anyway.

My wife is getting two sets of earrings this year. They cost less than $20. She always likes the cheap jewelry I buy more than the expensive stuff anyway. Expensive jewelry should only be a reward for very good behavior.

she knows its wrong. she knows the test and its easy. "is this something I would tell my husband about" if the answer is no, then she shouldn't be doing it. she doesn't tell him, she knows its wrong.

I understand why we don't like the idea of this negotiation, but it seems hundred fold better than covert contracts. Here, I'll rub your back for 20 minutes and then you give me a blow job. She gets something she wants that I can enjoy, I get something I want that she can enjoy. Win-win.

its been repeated that its easier to do it from scratch than to do it in a current relationship. are you exclusive? cohabitating? get busy with your other hobbies.

I'd give it a decade or two before it really could catch on. There is just so much pushing the other direction, you'd almost need a new generation that hates what the previous generation looks like and goes in a new direction.

finals week or not, you shouldn't be waiting that long for a planned date. "Hey, I've been studying my ass off for the last 6 hours, I need a break, I'm going to this nearby great place to eat, you wanna join?" You could even mix it up with a joke about how you know you've got a date planned for Monday, and that can still be the official first date if she wants" I dunno. If she's excited about this date, I assume she will reach out to you to verify. You reaching out to her to verify shows insecu…

Maybe the question should be reversed? If they tried to manipulate and control the guy, and he bails early, because who needs that nonsense, then it would appear that she only dates people she can control.

Why would a ring make any difference? Lots of times, men will hit on women with rings because it's safe, you can flirt with the knowledge that rejection is predetermined. I remember asking a woman on a date back in college, we were in the same class and had been rather chatty with each other the first few weeks. After asking she says, oh I'm married and showed her ring. Wasn't anything I had been checking for up to that point.

It took me a while to realize as well that my wife is annoyed by different things than me. While it bothers me that a pile of dishes is in the sink Monday morning it doesn't bother her. I used to fight over it, I sure as hell don't pretend she is dead and do all her chores for her, fuck that nonsense. What I do instead is lead, I tell her in Sunday afternoon or evening that she needs to knock out another load of dishes before the day ends if she wants any help from me on keeping things caught up…

it doesn't make a difference, if you got her tingling down there she wont care how dirty you are. Hell, there are probably a lot of times when being dirty is actually the turn on. If he is all dirty and sweaty from working on the car it's probably a lot more effective at getting sex than if he just spent the last 30 minutes doing laundry. Only time I could see being clean as being fairly necessary is for the BJs when she wants to please you but doesn't really want to have sex. Then ya, it might …

This is pretty key here. I'm not sure if we should care. If she actually engages in sex or things that often lead to sex with one of your friends, then A) she isn't worth keeping around, and B) you need to be better so she reacts as u/heelface's girl did. For guys hitting and or flirting with your girl, who gives a fuck. Obviously you shouldn't fuck another guy's girl, but if that's something that happens then if it wasn't you it'd be someone else. Consider it a loyalty test to see if she is wor…

My business got insurance this year, and I compared with hers. Hers was a little better. So I wanted to stay on hers. She is pissed and says I should go on mine. I say put me on yours and we will continue the same way. off topic, my company (I thought because of obama care) doesn't let me add my wife to my health insurance plan if she has one available through her work, I would have thought it to be the same for everyone.

You're not sure if this marriage is going to work out, or if you even want it to anymore. I find myself in this camp currently. doesn't match with we're in the process of refinancing our house, flipping it into rental income, and buying our dream home in the nice older area of town. to me... can you explain?

I just realized the other day that I tend to do household chores when my wife is gone either at work or grocery shopping. However, that means if I finish prior to her arrival and I fire up a video game or w/e there is zero understanding that I spent x hours getting all the leaves picked up. It doesn't specifically matter if she recognizes or appreciates the amount of work I put into the home until she asks me to vacuum or something. I've began to respond by not flat out saying no, but just askin…

I'm having trouble seeing this. Picking fights, engaging in risk, plundering, stealing, raping, while not honorable (but immoral) in today's society are not beta traits, they are alpha traits. I don't believe the vikings went raiding because there were a bunch of left over beta boys that couldn't get women. I believe the whole viking society is highly alpha and their age of plenty left many without purpose at home, so they hopped on a ship and went viking. Now perhaps those that generally went r…

"What would my wives think of me if I didn't also go raiding?" Who gives a fuck what the wives think? Betas do. This is a good point, however, I didn't mean to indicate that he would go raiding because he felt insecure and weak, although I do think going raiding would make him wealthier and more powerful. More of a question for us. We make these alpha changes in ourselves to make us better people, but the women still have thoughts and opinions about us and our actions. We can not care about thos…

I'm all for drawing comparisons between past societies and our society today, especially because if we don't learn lessons from the past we will be forced to repeat it. However, I'm not convinced that the vikings went on raids because they were betas. Maybe we could argue they were less Alpha. But everyone except the King/Chief is less Alpha, that doesn't make them beta, certainly not in comparison to the betas of today. TL;DR: viking raids are an alpha behavior This resulted in volatile societi…
