0	Seen in a Brooklyn subway station It's really disheartening to see this during my morning commute the day after Pride weekend. The LGBTQ won their civil liberties and acceptance among the wider population by being active, positive members of their communities, and by persistent activism and education. It seems like that lesson has been lost by the feminist community. 9	Two NYC men arrested and charged with "man spreading" I don't believe the law is called manspreading, but 'taking up excessive space', including lying on the seats, putting bags on the seats, etc. is technically not allowed, and very frowned upon by other new yorkers. 1	A new ad campaign paints heart disease as a women's issue. Men die of it at about 1.5x the rate women do Its pushback against the 'pink' for breast cancer. A LOT in the medical research community really do not like all the focus that is placed on breast cancer. 1	Happened at my son's school (8th grade) When I was in middle school, an older girl attacked me, pinned me against a locker and began to choke me for some sleight I don't remember. I kicked at her to get her to drop me, she screamed and began to cry. The principal attempted to suspend me for "attacking another student" despite multiple eye witnesses corroborating my story. 8	Thoughts on this G+ post from Wil Wheaton about Chris Brown? While in most cases I would agree that there are two sides to every story, I think the problem with Chris Brown is a general lack of character. She may have struck him but he put her in the hospital. That's just not ok. Another example is the Good Morning America incident where he broke a window and stormed out of the building after removing his shirt for some reason?
