I agree. Maybe the answer isn't that everyone should hide their sexuality, but that no one should have to? I feel like this with a lot of things. I want equality, but sometimes the answer shouldn't be "so no one can do this" but rather "so everyone should be able to do this".

I honestly don't understand why people don't think churches should not be expressing political opinions. There are tons of non-profits, treated pretty much exactly the same way in the tax code, that are explicitly created to influence politics. The NRA, for example is one such body. Churches being treated as non-profits tax wise isn't exactly a strong argument as to why they shouldn't express themselves politically.

My local feminist told me we aren't allowed to have me too experiences because women have these experiences because they are women, while men have them... because? Alright, well, in appendix table 2-16 of this report you can see some numbers for the last year they have stats for which is 2014. According to that, 7.9% of women are in Engineering or Computer/stats/mathematical science fields compared to 26.9% of men. There's clearly not a 50/50 distribution or even close to one. As there would have to be for hiring practices to be fair (and probably legal) and have this scheme work, I think these are legitimate worries.

As a field drops in prestige or perceived value, men tend to seek it out less. When a field is paying more, even if it is difficult or requires more education, men will seek it out. Seriously. I've read a few pieces that conflate us with the pick-up artist community without even attempting to explain themselves. It's like... Things like this make me uncomfortable. I want equality, but I don't want this. I don't see why we need to tell businesses they can't cater to a gendered customer base, whether that base is men or women. I think it makes the world a worse place when we try to do so.

The other ones are ridiculous, but I agree with this one. I've always thought this song was creepy. Once you start listening to the lyrics... I mean, come on "say, what's in this drink?".
