You don't need to be an EMT or RN to clean poop and other excreta, which is the main responsibility of a caregiver along w feeds & meds. A nursing teacher said that the number one factor for admitting loved ones to a nursing home is incontinence (on top of what other probs were occurring). It seems like that is usually the breaking point, especially if the patient is v heavy and/or hard to maneuver. I never questioned it bc it makes sense, but many of those teachers were often wrong about things…

Not meeee! Every employee and family member I was around (except 1 germaphobe), got sick and some got sick multiple times. I was rather vigilant and rude, but it somehow worked. I also got really good at holding my breath, which I think helped immensely. I knew my immunity was bad and I would not do well if I got sick, so I got v proactive for the first time in my life.😉✌

I always want what I can't have, somif I perceive competition is present I automatically want him more. If I don't care that the guy is possibly w another, then I know that I'm not into him any longer.

Long-term is key. I've always assumed that Kafka's Metamorphosis is about how much people will love someone through a significant change. Most of us fall in love w the person as we know them, not as something else esp w regards to debilitating illness/ injury or SMI.

But who else would be the nurse without great money or insurance? I feel like that's the idea behind the "through sickness and health" part of traditional vows. Usually the care responsibilities fall to the partner, don't they? I guess if there are young healthy parents, maybe they can help also?

That's sad. If Im into him, I get obsessed to the point of being a stalker. I could view it as: now I have less chance of him cheating on me.

Not really you, just the wrong sex / gender. He got a clam, when he knew that he wanted sausage. He is completely responsible for not being honest w you or himself.

Her son is one of those students. I cant imagine having Dauber as a mother, let alone teaching at my school while behaving like a lunatic. He is a senior this year, and Dauber only taught one winter class, but he still shares the same surname as his infamous mother who had her own husband place a 911 call to have her removed for a psych hold.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
