Which are some Countries with worst laws against Mens Rights and too much baised towards women?Am happy to report that at my son's childcare the personnel is 50/50 men and women. And they're all fantastic people! This is Norway, I am actually not sure who is allowed to change diapers. | /r/MensRights | 27/08/21 04:16 PM

[NSFW] Parents of reddit, what made you realize your child was no longer an innocent kid? • /r/AskRedditYes, I already acknowledged that all we have is his side of the story, so that's what we have to go on. We can't really make any real judgment if we don't assume his story is all there is. | /r/MensRights | 21/11/14 07:51 PM
[NSFW] Parents of reddit, what made you realize your child was no longer an innocent kid? • /r/AskRedditWell, we can't go talking what ifs, we need to look at what is. Saying awful things to him like that are indicative that she is quite cruel; it doesn't seem like he did anything to deserve that treatment. As he said, it came out of nowhere and she just started being horrible to him. That, to me, seems like someone who lacks empathy, and therefore should not be in charge of children. | /r/MensRights | 21/11/14 07:37 PM
[NSFW] Parents of reddit, what made you realize your child was no longer an innocent kid? • /r/AskRedditI think she's still a bad parent, all the hateful things she said to him in addition to this behaviour. Admittedly we don't know the whole story, but from what I read I think the kids should have gone to him, with visitation rights for her. Not the other way around. | /r/MensRights | 21/11/14 07:18 PM
[NSFW] Parents of reddit, what made you realize your child was no longer an innocent kid? • /r/AskRedditThis was when they were still living together. She would sneak off to go clubbing (presumably didn't care enough about the family to stay in) and he would help the kids go to sleep. | /r/MensRights | 21/11/14 06:54 PM
[NSFW] Parents of reddit, what made you realize your child was no longer an innocent kid? • /r/AskRedditRight, leaving him with the responsibility. That was my point, she's obviously less responsible and caring, yet she got majority custody. | /r/MensRights | 21/11/14 06:53 PM
[NSFW] Parents of reddit, what made you realize your child was no longer an innocent kid? • /r/AskRedditI definitely read one bit where he said he had to sleep in the bed with the kids because the mum wasn't there to look after them. | /r/MensRights | 21/11/14 06:45 PM
[NSFW] Parents of reddit, what made you realize your child was no longer an innocent kid? • /r/AskRedditOk, in one case she's totally unreachable for the whole night. | 17 | What feminists do not understand is that by far most men want equality of the genders. But that is absolutely not what feminism is about.I'm an Odinist, a follower of the old religion of my country. About 1000 years ago, Christians came and forced us into Christianity. | 6 | You get charged an additional excess ($200) for being a male driver. From what I understand about it, men's premiums are higher because they cost the insurance companies more overall. That's not to say they are better or worse drivers. As you state, women cause more accidents. However, men are more likely to get into big, expensive accidents. (This is where we get that stereotype of men being aggressive drivers, speeding etc. and women drivers getting dings from parking, scrapes from misjudging gaps etc. i.e. minor accidents). Not saying any of this is gospel, it… | /r/MensRights | 16/09/14 04:21 PM
Canadian man jailed for possession of Hentai. It doesn't say to what extent they "looked like minors". Indeed, much hentai depicts young looking people, but if they have the features of a developed person then it's hard to argue that they "look underage" since it's impossible to say, given they're not real people. I suspect what he was watching may have been lolicon, which is very obviously underage hentai, as it specifically depicts children. | /r/MensRights | 11/09/14 08:00 PM

Woman with "breathtaking" record of violence escapes jail for 18th time.I agree absolutely, but I like to think this is a problem with the law and not the culture, in the sense that, I don't think there are hardcore pro-gun people anywhere advocating that the mentally ill should have access to firearms (I'm sure there are some, but I think they're in the minority). Problem with the "culture" I guess it's anything that comes under the guise of "gun control" is opposed categorically by the gun lobbies in America, even if sensible pro gun people might welcome it. | /r/MensRights | 19/08/14 12:40 PM
Woman with "breathtaking" record of violence escapes jail for 18th time.Exactly. Basically my point was bad areas are bad areas, and I don't think the differences in gun culture has all that much to do with it. | /r/MensRights | 19/08/14 12:11 PM
Woman with "breathtaking" record of violence escapes jail for 18th time. The panic buying comment was me pointing out the bad data in the article. I made the original post yesterday intending to point out that as a normal working middle class citizen, from my point of view felt no different in the US than it did in the UK. To dispel the European myth that America is just one shootout after another on your way to work. Safety I agree is a subjective term. | 0 | Woman with "breathtaking" record of violence escapes jail for 18th time. The first link I have already discussed, the figures aren't nearly enough to deduce if one country is safer than another. The second link doesn't seem to state any concrete numbers, it just disputes others. Its data is also from 2010; key data for current times is missing such as the fact that gun ownership in the us is currently at one of its highest points, despite the article saying it's declining. This is mainly due to panic buying during the Obama years. I'm not satisfied either of these li… | /r/MensRights | 19/08/14 10:25 AM

Woman with "breathtaking" record of violence escapes jail for 18th time. That's a whole other statistic. The point was does the UK gun culture make the country safer, not does it reduce gun deaths. The latter is obvious, there are way more guns in the us so naturally it follows that more people will die from them. There are more swimming pools too, so likely more people will drown. There isn't a reliable statistic you've shown me that indicates the us is more dangerous than the UK in general. | /r/MensRights | 18/08/14 10:01 PM
Woman with "breathtaking" record of violence escapes jail for 18th time.Intentional homicide demographics are affected by changes in trauma care, leading to changed lethality of violent assaults, so the intentional homicide rate may not necessarily indicate the overall level of societal violence.[2] They may also be underreported for political reasons.[3][4] Another problem for the comparability of the following figures is that some data may include attempts. In general the values in these lists should not include failed attempts except when mentioned otherwise. Bet… | /r/MensRights | 18/08/14 08:54 PM

Mom jailed after letting kid play in crowded park while she worked, because "what if a man would've come and snatched her"I was gonna say it was less than 10 years ago for me, then I realised it probably was around 20 years ago :( But yeah when I was a kid we stayed outside all day by ourselves. And when I have kids that's what they'll do, too. But that won't be in America or the UK, where they've gone completely off the rails with paedo-hysteria. | /r/MensRights | 15/07/14 01:21 PM

They overlap in knowledge needed, but they are not the same. I've been in the field for ~5 years now. More often than not, my colleagues do not have a CS BSc (or any degree at all). | 1 | Saw this on Facebook today. Surely this is illegal? As I understand them, affirmative action laws are to do with quotas; you need a certain number of each minority in order to be diverse enough. Hiring should be entirely blind to gender, race, etc. so that you are hired based on your merit, not how you were born. If this means you end up with a workforce that is entirely female, then fine, but that would then be incidental and not by design. | /r/MensRights | 07/03/14 09:34 AM |

This is a literary technique that, as previously mentioned, has been used in Shakespeare, and forever since. CP is already illegal, and nobody is really arguing for its legality. People ITT who are complaining think it pertains to all porn. Porn will remain legal, nobody is taking that away. The controversial bit is the part about "rape porn", even that which is simulated. | 2 | Boys in Norway denied part time summer job because they are maleJust things that are poorly worded. | 3 | Female here -- how would you feel about having females on this subreddit who enjoy discussion?Sure, but you could say the same about a lot of things; being overly cautious and paranoid might make you constantly miserable, or might save your life. Women who won't walk home alone at night (many places this is totally normal because there is nothing to fear, but others might balk at the suggestion, whereas people who do it tell the "paranoids" to stop being so worried as it will ruin your life). | 2 | Female here -- how would you feel about having females on this subreddit who enjoy discussion?I don't think there is anything sinister or malicious with MGTOW. I only just learned about it myself and it seems fair to me. It's not a lifestyle choice I would choose (I have a partner who I love with all my heart) but I don't see anything wrong with it. Society puts a lot of pressure on men (and certainly also on women) to conform to the "partner up and have kids" lifestyle, which many people aren't really comfortable doing at this point. | /r/MensRights | 17/07/13 07:02 PM |

Swedish man gets his face destroyed by a plate thrown by his (ex?) girlfriend; police ignores it.OK I'm home now. The thing with the Norwegian penal system is, you can't argue with statistics. Norway has some of the lowest recidivism rates in the world, so it really comes down to what you want to achieve with putting people in prison. Are you looking to rehabilitiate, so that when the person is released they won't reoffend? Looking at it objectively, this benefits everybody more. But if you are looking to punish (see, the American system) then this is the opposite of what you want. Many peo… | /r/MensRights | 25/04/13 05:45 PM
| 1 | Swedish man gets his face destroyed by a plate thrown by his (ex?) girlfriend; police ignores it.I agree, being strict about who gets to keep firearms is important. This aspect is actually even stricter here in the UK. What I don't agree with is Norway's ban on "militaristic" rifles. As if the fact that it's black or "tactical" makes it more dangerous. Mini-14s are legal, they basically do all the same shit that an AR does. AR-15s are legal in the UK, provided they are semi-automatic (in .22LR) or straight-pull (in .223 rem). I like this.
