Excellent post. When confronted to stressful situation, my reaction is usually to freeze. I'm talking about business situation for example. I know it's not very manly, I should confront it, face it and deal with it. But I learned to know myself, and I know I tend to freeze and try to "escape" the problem until I figure it out...or forget about it, like a coward. This is one the biggest thing I need to work on. Thanks for this reminder.

Any good books to learn negociations? In life and business. i'm guessing there are a couple of golden rules to follow, I'd like to know them. So far the only thing I have is "The one who doesn't care wins"

I see as a low-tier sexual strategy. I'd rather lift, read, or work on my business and become a real man than spend time on this shit. Yes it does work to get some girls. Just like clown game works to get girls in clubs. I'd rather build myself than trying to project the best image on social medias. That's a very feminine attitude.

I just had lunch with a guy I recently met. The guy spent half of his time taking pictures of his food and looking for the perfect filter to post it on Instagram. It's a shame because now I can't take this guy seriously. During the same lunch, I shit you not, there was a table besides me, 2 girls on their smartphones, they did NOT share a word for a good 45 minutes, I am not exaggerating it. All they were doing were texting and taking selfies while having lunch. Interesting times.

Funny you mention God and Love. For Christians, God is Love. The thing is, the word love has been used in the wrong way too many times so people think of a shitty BP romantic comedy when they hear the word. If you believe God is dead or that Love doesn't exist, it's your choice. I believe the opposite, except the real absolute love comes from God. Love between male and female is an ideal, and like all ideals, it cannot be reached in this universe. It doesn't mean it doesn't exist though.

It's true BUT sometimes when you don't have much money you can get this IDGAF attitude that actually attracts girls. You have to give off the badboy vibe and not the NEET one though. But it's doable as I've seen broke guys around me pulling girls easily.

The Sex and the City girls... I spot them very easily now. I have a bunch of them on my Facebook, I keep them so I can follow the CC-riding corporate girl lifestyle in real time. Little by little you see their looks fading, they keep posting their cocktails parties pictures, their travels and the stupid motivational quotes (always self centered, never saw a truly philosophical one about a CONCEPT, and not their feelings). I use it as a test to see if this subreddit is always right or not. If my …

I agree, I found myself watching a couple of SATC clips on Youtube. Now that I have the RP-lenses, I think this show has been one of the most damaging forces of the last decade. It's basically listening and watching the hamsters in action. It's fascinating.

Nice self-discipline! Recently I've been experimenting similar things. I'm about to turn 30 so now the women around me are more aggressively chasing me. I'm almost embarrassed to have to turn down those women. I now just want to fuck quality pussy so I don't bother with other girls. It's hard for girls to be declined when they're chasing you, they lose ALL of their power.

I agree with you. Then the question is: what are we at war against? My personal take on it: we're at war against forces of evil. Religious people understand this, I'm not sure how a materialist person would interpret that.

Let me be that one person that quotes the Bible here: For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow. Ecclesiastes 1 When I was a teenager, and up until recently, I couldn't help myself but argue with people at parties etc. It was actually a lot of fun, and it's in my country's culture to have heated debates. Nowadays I understand one has to chose its battles wisely. When I see hardcore feminists that tick ALL THE BOXES of TRP (single at 35, CC rider, multip…

What works for me so far is intermittent fasting. I can't cur carbs and I hate counting calories. Fasting is much simpler and I can shed fat more easily. Also, working out fasted feels much better.

OK let me rephrase this: Psychological violence is just as damaging because it often leads to physical violence. Here's an example: A guy's wife divorces him because he lost his job. He loses everything, can't see his children anymore, turns into alcohol and decides to shoot himself. I wasn't thinking about "rape survivors". I was thinking about 3-ways manipulations where women manage to manipulate a male to physically hurt another male, for instance. It's usually hard to detect and people can't…

Simply ask yourself: "What does my religion ask of me, and what does it promise in return?" You're COMPLETELY missing the point of religion and faith. It's not about what it promises YOU or what it does for YOU. It's about seeking the Truth.

Is it possible nowadays to open a bar for men only? One day I want to open one of those gentleman's club (not a strip club), where men can discuss philosophy, business, anything without being surrounded by women. Would it be legal in this day and age?

Man violence is physical, women violence is psychological. Harder to see but just as damaging. Women don't have the physical force, so they have to rely on psychology and manipulation to win. Like turning other men against each other so they do the fighting for her. I'd say our times are materially very confortable, but extremely violent on a psychological level. Just see the anti-depressants usage statistics.

Great post, I completely agree with you. Great analogy with the money. After some point, it doesn't make much a difference, and it's actually counter productive. Just like a guy spinning 6 plates is going to get headaches that you avoid if you just handle 2-3 girls or see a new one every 2 weeks. Read the book of Ecclesiastes, if you're not religious, you'll find it reflects your current thoughts. The big question of course is: what to do next? What's the endgoal of it all? To me the (partial) a…

I do agree that girls are often the #1 reason guys spend stupidly their money. When you take girls out of the equation, living comfortably as a man is insanely cheap. I mean, good food, books, culture, exercise don't cost so much. But when it comes to having a family, evaluating the financial cost of it is missing the point. The point of the family is that you WORK your own life to support it. That's the concept and in a way it's quite beautiful. Of course nowadays feminism has fucked everything…

Friendship between men and women isn't real friendship. I like to keep my life simple, therefore I don't consider any other female as "real friends". Sure I can hang out with the group and I enjoy their company. But in the back of my mind, I know they will NEVER be loyal to me and I can't count on them if I'm in a rut one day. I guess you can go all dark triad and manipulate female friends for your own benefits. I'd say keep it simple.

I see a big trend lately with meditation/mindfulness. I just want to tell readers to be very careful with neo new-age material. It's a dead end. Reading PNL, meditation stuff can lead you into occult practices. At first it seems so fucking exciting because it actually works: be careful that you're stepping into a dangerous territory. People will say I sound crazy but I don't care, many testimonials around me have proved me I'm right. Meditation is OK, but just be careful and don't fall into the …

OP you get it. Don't mind all the people reproaching the "religious overtone". The sacred has to be the center of a civilization. Otherwise, it all goes down to shit, as we're quickly finding out. People here shit on religion all the time, not realizing it's the lack of it that is making western society so weak. Once you put religion back in the center of society's framework, I guarantee the rest will follow. If you don't, other societies who do will take over. As we're seeing with Islam filling…

There should be a high definition PDF of all the red pill rules, truths and paradigms for us to print and put it on the wall. It will also provide good entertainment as well when guests and girls come to your place. Success guaranteed.

I don't agree on the compliments part. You have to use a pull/push strategy. One day you compliment her on how beautiful she is. Then you don't talk about it for the rest of the week, making her guess wether you still find her pretty. You have to build/release tension on this.

The best way to "escape" is to build something. When you're building something and being creative, nothing can get in your way. It's you and the universe, I can't think of anything more manly. Build something.

I started to get suspicious of coffee as I saw how the world around is trying to push me to drink it. Coffee shops everywhere, people in movies always sipping on their starbucks, their mugs... At some point I realized it was just another addictive substance that the market is trying to get me addicted to so I have to spend money everyday on it, and so I can be a good worker and productive drone at work. Don't get me wrong, I love a good coffee, but like all good things, one has to be careful not…

Yeah I gave up on Hackernews as well. The hivemind is now too strong and too predictable. I think their biggest pitfall is their arrogance. Basically they think their intelligence can dissect every phenomenon in the universe. But they refuse to believe in and don't see the absolute forces moving the world (like let's say.. male/female forces). HN lacks..poetry, real art and imagination. It's actually a sad place (reddit isn't much better). I now try to read great book classics. I feel like my ti…

You're right. I'd say the only way to find the strength to go for a LTR is desire for kids. Otherwise I don't see the point of relationships. it boggles me when i see couples that don't want children, I really cannot understand how they can stay together like that.

Here is a tip I experienced recently: get invited by one of your friends who's on a business trip. I just did that, we were both in Asia, I went to his hotel, stayed there FREE for 10 days, enjoyed the gym/sauna/pool for free, even some dinners. Of course it's one of my good friends so it's a trick per se, but we had a lot of fun, for free.

In a normal society, where leaders act for the good of their people and have balls, our leaders would take actions and legalize prostitution. I'm not for prostitution for moral reasons, but this would calm down the insanity that's taking place in those cases. Unfortunately we don't live in societies where our leaders care for people's good.

When I broke up with my ex girlfriend, she told me "but you're my best friend!". I cringed inside and told her I wasn't, I was her boyfriend. I was thinking she must have read in a dumb article "why your boyfriend should be your best friend" somewhere. Instinctively I hated the fact she called me her best friend.

I was waiting for a post about SV. I've been there and raised money for my business; 1) Businesswise, it can be done. I came here without any connection, got accepted into an incubator, and raised seed investment from VCs/angels. Relatively small amount but still. I think we benefited from the "fresh kids out of college" image at that point, I don't think I could it pull it off again so "easily" (it wasn't thath easy, we actually did a good job presenting the product and the product itself was q…
