In my experience, which is only 3 years working with managers, I've found corporate managers to be mostly non-technical professions that only require to be in meetings, send emails, and beginner to intermediate data entry. Literally anyone can do that job, and they hire women for a variety of reasons, but mostly to be seen as progressive and modern.
