At 63, I’ve ended up alone It's hard to square her constant reference to her massive intelligence and always being smarter than the guys she dated, with her admission of falling prey to a world view that is so obviously flawed. It can't be both, so if she was a feminist, then she was rarely, if ever, the smartest person in the room. He didn't even ask, and just manufactured a strawman. Knowledge defeats ignorance. Interestingly, if you read the whole article, he goes on to denounce and repudiate every aspect of feminism. It's like he heard a word, made up his own definition, and then decided he was in favor of it. If the stated opinions near the end of his article are to be trusted, he's far more of an MRA than a feminist. In the current marriage climate, women are parasites who leech off the earning power of a man during the marriage, then continue to leach away most of his earnings after divorce. The only way I would consider (another) marriage is with a women who, at least potentially, makes as much or more than I do. That way she can be assuming as much financial risk in the transaction. 1	Question from a Muslim guy.... I guess the proof is in the pudding. If your religion demands that women have less rights and freedoms than men, then it's a misogynistic religion. Of course there are plenty of followers of Islam who choose to interpret things differently, so it's really the particular leaders whose interpretations you choose to follow that determine whether women should be treated with respect as equals, or as lesser items with restricted rights and freedoms. 3	Question from a Muslim guy.... "women are required to be clothed more" This is the problem for me. It shows that in that culture, women are considered a lesser being. Something that can be commanded to behave as men desire. That pretty much looks like cut and dried misogyny to me.
