Not excusing anything but here's some POSSIBLE context: India - strong cultural to have kids once married. Likely an arranged marriage - parents of husband may have misrepresented their son's desire to marry and could have pressured him into it, and thereby also lied to the bride and her family. Homosexuality is a big taboo, especially in more rural areas. I have grown up around a lot of Indian families - the above could explain why the poor guy chose suicide.

The woman that got knocked out looked like she was trying to take the officers gun. If I'm seeing that right, this could've gotten much worse with a lot of shots being fired.

LOL what? Um, no a tow company is not at anybody's beck and call to illegally tow private vehicles. That's pure theft. What's to stop tow companies from having their friends call in legally park vehicles so they churn tow fees?

Got married over 10 years ago. Family was pressuring us to invite and hotel people from around the world. When the budget hit USD $250K, I bailed. We eloped/honeymooned for $1500 and live very comfortably in our SECOND home. Now the youngsters in the family are planning their weddings. Same pressure but sadly, no backbone at all.

Of course, we'd all prefer cops to stay professional and unemotional. But to me, this woman is clearly used to getting her way with escalating tantrums. Having had people like this in my life, I can tell you I would have been emotionally triggered as well. Add to the fact that cops deal with life & death daily, I am not at all surprised at his reaction. He's a flawed human like the rest of us.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
