The tl;dr version of it was "start by accepting you for you". So, maybe you're not perfect, but who is? Be honest with yourself about everything: your past, your present, your likes/dislikes, all of it. I'll use myself as an example: I'm confident about where I'm from, my family, who I am, where I've been, what I've done, my friends, my job, etc. None of these things are perfect, but they're all mine. I can own a room, and I can speak in front of groups of people. (I think 2,000 is the biggest group I've done. Not trying to brag to you.
