No, it's not okay.Good post. No offense but I don't always agree with people 100% on this sub but you nailed it. | /r/RPChristians | 26/07/22 03:59 AM
Christians and divorcePartially yes. We as men are also called to be the spiritual leader. To do this we must model ourselves after Christ. A stream of income has nothing to do with leading ( though it does provide security which, Biblically is a woman's number one desire of a husband a man's is respect.) While providing things for your wife is quality you should have as a husband, the word "lead" in itself means to "show her" what is right and wrong. I don't disagree with anything you are saying. But it's only half … | /r/RPChristians | 17/06/22 04:48 PM
Christians and divorceYou seem very humble. The term Servant leader has been around much longer than 50 years Spurgeon used the term well before the 70s . Do people misuse the term? Yes. People misuse lots of terms. A Servant leader is simply a leader who also serves. No need to complicate it. | /r/RPChristians | 17/06/22 04:39 PM
Christians and divorceDon't think too far into it. I just mean look at what preachers are preaching everyday you look. You have women preachers, pastors" baptizing" homosexuals, etc. And them twisting what scripture says to justify it. And its on a large scale at this point. It's everywhere. | /r/RPChristians | 27/05/22 03:24 AM
Christians and divorceIt's ok. Doesn't hurt my feelings. Felt convicted to write it so I did. Thanks. | /r/RPChristians | 27/05/22 03:04 AM
Christians and divorceTo continue our other conversation, while I find the term Servant Leader appropriate when used properly, I will not disagree with you that the term has been corrupted by Churchianity. That being said. Most of, if not all of the Bible has been corrupted as well. It's funny you ask about the downvotes. Haha I have wondered myself what the fixation with it is outside of the dopamine hit people get off of an upvoted comment they left. | /r/RPChristians | 27/05/22 03:03 AM
Christians and divorceI don't disagree with most of what you said. But you say leading and and serving are two different things I don't agree with this. I feel scripture is clear that leaders are called to serve. You cant be one without the other.. I will add though that I feel as a leader discernment is necessary to know when to order, when to teach, how to teach when to listen, and when to serve. While the term servant leader isn't actually in the Bible I feel it's appropriate when used properly. Thank you for your… | /r/RPChristians | 27/05/22 02:55 AM
Christians and divorceI never said to negotiate anything. You can't negotiate authority only God can grant authority. Showing someone right and wrong isn't negotiating. It's leading. 2.God is not selfless. We are not God. We shouldn't compare ourselves to Holyness either. Scripture is clear and what Jesus taught is clear. To put others before ourselves. Phil 2:3 1, Cor 10:24, Eph 5:25, Jesus gave his life for our souls. "Christ was not a Servant leader by modern definition." Where to begin? Mark 10:43-45 The Man Hims… | /r/RPChristians | 27/05/22 02:45 AM
Christians and divorceIt doesn't say serve your wife. It says the husband should be the leader. And we look to scripture and the life of Jesus as what a leader truly is. Mark 10:43-45 The Man Himself says. " Yet it shall not be among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant. And whoever of you desires to be first shall be a slave to all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served but to SERVE (servant here is translated from diakonos which means servant, attendant, spoken to tho… | /r/RPChristians | 27/05/22 02:03 AM
| -1 | Christians and divorceServant leader means exactly what I think it means. If you would like to discuss this we can go to scripture with Grammatical notation as well as Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic translation to reach our conclusions because we all know much was lost when translated to English. "Like he needs her permission" Nope God granted that but being smug about it instead of humbling yourself will get you to be leader of nothing or a divorce like OP is asking about. Leading her through love and loving her the way… | /r/RPChristians | 26/05/22 03:00 AM |
| -3 | Christians and divorceFirst off more Christians need to teach what the Bible actually says about marriage and stop twisting what the Bible says to suit our own selfish desires. Simply put a Biblical marriage should look something like this. A woman should submit to her husband and allow him to be the leader. How should a husband lead? He should look at Jesus for the model of a leader. How did Jesus lead? 1.By putting God first 2. By Serving. He was a Servant Leader. So a Husband should show his wife how to be. He doe… | /r/RPChristians | 26/05/22 02:18 AM |

Is anal sex a sin?Yes same sex or sex with Beasts it what the bible referring too. Not what you do within the sanctity marriage with your wife. And again you are still trying to give a modern definition of word that wasn't even used originally in the Bible. finding an internet website to support your claim impresses me none. You need to talk to a pastor who has studied Theology and biblical history. Not just your fire and brimstone local preacher who teaches that because his mentor did. You are still not getting … | /r/RPChristians | 21/09/20 06:12 AM
Is anal sex a sin?You are using a modern definition of an English word. There was no such word in the Greek language when the word was written sodomy was just the closest translation to what happened it comes from the place Sodom when the Angel's where threatening to get raped. If you dont have oral sex in your marriage you and your wife are just plain missing out on each other. Try looking up when sodomy was added and defined in the Webster dictionary. The word didnt exist in the Greek txt. Find a pastor that ca… | /r/RPChristians | 20/09/20 10:05 PM
Is anal sex a sin?No. The modern definition of sodomy is not at all what the original Greek txt is explaining. Do more research. | /r/RPChristians | 20/09/20 09:56 PM
