For me, the best parts about RPW is that it accepts what naturally makes me happy (pleasing people I care about, taking care of others, being feminine in general) and it gave me a way to deal with the things I don't like about myself (nagging, becoming confrontational when frustrated or emotionally compromised). While I haven't completely mastered myself, I am able to recognize my patterns and am more quickly than before able to get a hold of myself and calm down. Sometimes, today's "modern femi…

My SO unplugged me not too long ago. It started with talking about what our ltr goals were, and initially I rebelled against his RP ideas, really disliking the idea of Captain and First Mate because I was one of those Strong Independent Women Who Don't Need No Man. However, we were already acting in that capacity; I was just scared of the language. Knowing that, he sent me very gently worded links on the subject (I wish I could remember what they were specifically), and after I'd warmed up to it…

If you're looking to find a girl to sleep with and use as a plate, I think that's a fine way to go about things. No use in putting in a ton of effort if you're not looking to get much out of it. However, if/when you start looking for a relationship, you should probably pay for the first date at least. A RP man should want to show that he can provide and care for his woman, and a RPW will want to be shown that you can and are willing to care for her. Especially if you were the one to set up the d…

My best friend in college was very much like this. Somehow, she got the idea in her head that boys like it when she's a tease, but then she couldn't figure out why stand-up guys weren't interested in her. After 3+ years of listening to her whine about this, I finally broke and told her what was what. After I was finished, her response was, "Well, I guess I just can't talk to men anymore. I'll have to take a break from them." Of course that's not the proper response, and she didn't even take a br…

Similar thing happened with my boyfriend in high school, except he waited months of knowing he wanted to break up when we went to college, but decided to stick it out because we were going to be around each other all summer and "hey, the sex was still good." That, coupled with the fact that a lot of the sex we were having was because he had guilted me into it, left me with a lot of hang ups that I'm only recently (4 years later) getting over. Was he scummy and manipulative? Absolutely, no questi…

One of my friend's parents use it. They're both teachers at a private school, so busy all the time, and they say it's a great way to get home cooked meals, especially considering the fact that they don't have to go to the grocery store and it comes with recipes. My friend said all the meals were pretty high quality and delicious.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
