Legal enforcement bias (lighter sentences for women, men presumed guilty in domestic violence cases) Many jurisdictions have a policy in domestic violence incidents where the man has to be removed, even if the police think the woman is responsible.

one of the partner made some career sacrifice so that the couple could have kids, What about the other partner that sacrifices their health and time with the family for increased earnings so the primary parent can be a stay at home parent? Why don't we count that?

Did the patriarchy make them eat too much cake and get fat too? Either they have autonomy or they don't. If they don't then they should be sheltered like children and have equivalent lack of freedom. If they do they're responsible for their own decisions. Maybe what they want goes against the grain of society, welcome to life. Be the change you want to see. The patriarchy wasn't this Illuminati type cabal of men oppressing women. It was a grab bag of rich men advantaging themselves over the wive…

Guys say they want kind and honest women but then marry an obvious(to everyone else) gold digger because she's hot. Because kind and honest are nice to have, not need to have. Like when someone says they want their next car to have heated leather seats. It still has to run, drive, stop, be in decent shape too, the seats are above and beyond all that. But give those guys the options of hot or hot and honest and nice? They'll go for their stated preference.

do you honestly think this form of consent was an informed and enthusiastic verbalization of wanting to engage in that activity? I think the only place you will find this definition of consent as the predominant definition in actal use for sex is on a college campus, so it doesn't matter.
/r/MensRights13/04/26 03:01 PM

Consent is the voluntary ... It must be given freely without ... intoxication Bullshit. You've been brainwashed by some feminist who have spent the last 30 years trying to change the meaning of already established words. Consent is agreeing without undue coercion. As long as you aren't blackout drunk, you can consent. And honestly I have trouble believing that if a blackout drunk can be held liable for a DUI they can't consent, either they are responsible for their actions or they aren't.

The women admitted it. They straight up said he asked and they said yes. They didn't think he would actually do it, so didn't take it seriously. I'd like to know when men get to agree to something non-seriously and get to reneg after the fact. judges throw out prenuptial agreements all the time because "she felt coerced". Sometimes prenups get tossed because the power was "too lopsided". So poor girl with no earning potential lucks out and finds millionaire and the prenup isn't applicable because she stands to gain too much? But if the guy was just very well off it would be valid?

In some countries and states, it’s illegal for a man to buy sex, but it’s not illegal for a woman to sell sex. This isn't sexist because they are different actions. When women purchase sex from men they same rules apply.

I think theres a lot of people on the internet that complain about how no men are getting any oppurtunities for dating, meanwhile that doesnt reflect in what is happening irl. Its just people who complain are a loud minority. The men who understood the "please don't approach" line stopped. The men who don't care didn't. Consider what you want to positively reenforce.

like simply questions about what’s important to you in a relationship I'd argue it's more they're leaving things out than that they're lying. Classic example is when they say what they look for in a partner, they list all the "nice to have's" but not the "must have's". Because why even discus things that aren't optional. So you get answers like "sense of humor" or "cares about family" from women who seem perfectly happy to date humorless controlling jerks who abandon their kids.

This would make women more committed to their marriages and monogamy because they are not rewarded for bad behaviour like the current "no-fault divorce" are set up. I doubt this would work the way you're hoping. People don't think logically when it comes to sex. They raw dog it with the type of person who is willing to have condom less sex in a club washroom with someone they just met. They're not thinking about consequences or what ifs. Its both. If there is no fault, there is no reason to do anything other than 50/50.
/r/MensRights02/09/25 03:21 AM

The problem is the division of assets. Most women refuse to marry someone who earns less or is less wealthy than themselves, when divorce happens assets are divided 50/50. They brought 20%-30% to the marriage, but leave with 50% There is a stigma for men who make less than their partners. Men are encouraged to work themselves raged to earn for the family, then that earning potential is used against them in the divorce. This is a wealth transfer.

It makes a certain kind of sense. If all cars were free, but you could only have one, would you want a beater shit box or a Ferrari? Dating apps make all men appear equally available, so why wouldn't they want the hottest guys?

10

One thing people don't consider much is most women refuse to marry a guy with less income or wealth, but the division of assets is 50/50 + spousal support + child support. They have a financial incentive to marry, and a financial incentive to divorce. Things no family court judge has said in the last 30 years: "he put more effort into work to provide you with a future, you've opted out of that future, he gets more than 50%" "you weren't a homemaker, you had a maid, you get less than 50%" "no kid…

Basically, no. The patriarchy no longer exists You're buying into a lie, there never was a patriarchy. There were rich people, and rules made for the benefit of rich people. It wasn't about gender it was about gold. Yes some rules benefited men more than women, because rich men wanted rules for themselves. Now we have lots of rich women so we have some rules to benefit women too. But it was always about money.

Because its a simple answer. Group A takes home more than group B, someone is getting paid more. They have two desired partner profiles. The man they want to have sex with/get impregnated by the man they want to support them and the first partners child Its why there are so many stories of mothers who have 2+ children from affairs instead of just leaving the spouse.

Two things. 1 all humans do human, but women seem to do it much more often. 2 my point wasn't exclusive to stress, just that woman seem to shift responsibility for everything. A man would be mocked constantly if he responsibility shifted to the same degree. 3 for a group who demand bodily autonomy (which i honestly think is a legitimate need) they try to shirk autonomy constantly and pretend to not be responsible for anything. Making the argument for bodily autonomy seem less reasonable.

When you start paying attention to women's words you notice a striking lack of autonomy. He drove her to cheat, he forced her to have the kid, work made her quit. On and on. They usually blame a man for their actions. And even if the roles were reversed it would still be a man's fault. It gives a sense of constant no win scenario and men disengage from women in general. MGTOW etc.

I asked AI why is it stupid to post AI generated content on reddit Posting AI-generated content on Reddit can be seen as "stupid" for several reasons, largely stemming from community values and the evolving understanding of AI's role in content creation: 1. Devaluation of Human Effort and Creativity: Reddit communities often value authentic human expression, whether it's insightful discussions, original artwork, thoughtful writing, or personal anecdotes. Sounds like BS, I know of no state when you can move the child to another state without permission when there is custody established.

There was a case in Canada where they discussed marriage, but she refused to do a prenuptial so he refused to marry her, never lived together. Judge ruled it a marriage. I'm sure someone has a link.

HR is about minimizing consequences for the company. If the dispute is male vs female, and 50/50 odds on who is telling the truth, they'll side with the woman every time. The optics of "defending" male aggressor from poor "victim" is worse than any other outcome.

Most examples i see are worrying about thing every day. Like worrying about kids activities, worrying about bills, and worrying about the water heater. Why can't men worry about changing the oil or the roof leaking?

But that assumes the rate of marriage was decreasing for both good and poor marriages equally. If poor(er) matches aren't getting married due to lower societal expectation of marriage you would expect a lower rate of divorce.

I've listened to a couple albums and I can't think of a song I liked. I'm not particularly into pop but usually an album has at least one good (or at least catchy) song. I'm not a big fan of Adele but at least she has good songs.

This is my primary issue with "social media" (mostly tic tok and YouTube) doing reaction videos and or 'what she said' videos. If you have literally nothing to add, why are you posting? Reddit at least has debate (mostly). People are already too gullible we don't need more people amplifying points without thinking.

The key problem being that: A woman is sexually assaulted *the woman has to report the crime to her CO *Most of the time this CO is also the CO of the perpetrator *As a CO, it looks *very** bad if one of their people commits a crime *The CO makes it go away There can also be a lot of "good old boy" network going on, but officers are very focused on career advancement and putting them in charge of dealing with crimes with little evidence, he-said-she-said, with actual negative effects for the CO …

Reproductive rights. Many jurisdictions have safe harbor laws where a mother can give up her newborn for adoption with zero repercussions, doesn't even have to give her name. No father notification required. Men should have something equivalent.

This just shows human nature of unconsciously siding with same instead of other. When men are hiring they offer men more money. When white people are hiring they offer white people more money. When women are grading they give girls higher scores. Once we have space aliens looking for jobs and their kids in school we'll hear more about it.

Its because women don't enjoy sex, its something they resign themselves to reluctantly doing as a favor. Its a passive act. If they actively seeked out sex and enjoyed it, that would make them hypocrites. /s

When the low/non earner instigates the divorce they should never get better than if the better earner dropped dead the day of filing. The idea of being on the hooker for years to someone who broke the marriage agreement is just wrong. Not including cheating, abuse, child support, etc.

He wrote a poorly thought out attack letter to the person who can sink his chosen career. Time to change courses. It is possible to politely but strongly disagree with unfounded "feminist" opinions. Try: "I'm sorry, I'm a little confused, wasn't this topic on child development, how did we get onto rape culture? I did the reading and must have missed it. Could you clearly draw the connection for me? I'm so confused, my man brain only understands beer commercials and grunts, but I repeat myself."

The way "cis" should be used is the same way "left hand drive" (right hand drive for you island nation heretics) should be used in North America. Almost only by exception, to confirm it is the expected normal when your were discussing an alternative. Imagine how obnoxious it would sound if a bunch of JDM import nerds said condescending thing about your car because it is a left hand drive and not a right hand drive. In my experience its the same energy and type of annoying.

Its not a feminist echo chamber phrase. It was adopted to explain away bad fraternity behavior in the 1980s. Along with "what did you expect to happen getting drunk at a fraternity?" "What did you expect to happen dressed like that?" Feminists latched on to the excuse as cover for rape culture, which it was at the time. It was an excuse for anyone who didn't want to admit their child grew up to be a rapist. People don't use the phrase that way anymore, because that argument was lost (rightfully …

If Muslims have to condemn their extremists, if men have to condemn their extremists, then feminists have to condemn theirs. Any feminist who doesn't start off with "masculinity isn't toxic, toxic people are toxic" is a waste of time.

This assumes that a 50+% growth of the workforce doesn't include a growth in the economy. A much better argument is that the current state is a legacy from the '50s and '60s of what majors were appropriate for women, resulting in a genration of women majoring in women's studies and english. These women being role models for the following generations.
