Hmm apparently I'm an asshole then because you bet if I see a man's fine ass bent over an engine I'm honking my horn or telling him he looks good. Not saying be gross about it, but I am neither offended nor feel like I'm beneath a man if I get an occasional whistle walking by a construction site. If I may, as a woman, this is incorrect. If a man doesn't offer to open a door or help when I'm struggling, I think he's kind of a dick. Most of us want chivalry. I am a woman and I agree with you. I am not in any way oppressed. I am not forced to stay home raising my kids, and am grateful that my husband provides for us. He deserves a healthy amount of respect for his role. If I need to make extra money, I do so, but my role is largely in the home suoporting the family in other ways. I only ever went out with tall guys and my husband is 2 inches shorter than me. He's 5'7" and I'm 5'9". It has never bothered either of us, because if you like being with someone, they could have 3 heads or something and you wouldn't care. I love being around him and I could care less how tall he is.
