If he tries to weasel out of wearing a condom, you should remove yourself from the situation as quickly (and safely) as possible, and then remove him from your life. Not worth it!

They empathize more with male animals than with human women.

There's no screening for men yet, sadly. Also, fun fact I found while searching for an answer: approximately 25% of men in the U.S. have high-risk HPV, compared to only 20% of women https://www.huffpost.com/entry/hpv-test-men_l_5cb76961e4b096f7d2db4f8c Men can and should get the vaccine though: https://www.verywellhealth.com/should-men-get-the-hpv-vaccine-5087312

Even if he gets clear results back, he could still have HPV because it currently can't be tested for in men. There are multiple strains of it, and the vaccine only protects you from a handful of them doesn't protect you from all of them. HPV can give women cancer! Not worth the risk, especially if he's slept with many women. Edit: The vaccine will protect you from most cancer-causing strains, but it doesn't protect you 100%. Get the vaccine, but take multiple protective measures! Edited to make …

The way he said that was like the way someone would talk about stepping on an injured bug to put it out of its misery. It's as if he viewed her as some sort of creature whose suffering is just "unfortunate" but inevitable, like a cow being slaughtered for food. He did not perceive her as a person.

I feel sick after listening to this. "We don't know how old they are. Don't judge me." And of course the man hosting him doesn't even push back. Bobby Lee belongs in jail.

These are fantastic ideas! The more women know about male deception, the more they can protect themselves. Spitballing a couple more ideas: "male" OLD profiles that are actually just information/warnings for other women about TRP tactics (i.e. set the gender as male and orientation as straight so only women looking for guys will see it) QR codes for the FDS subreddit in women's bathrooms

When I was in my early twenties, I was pumping gas when a scruffy, overweight, middle-aged man approached me. Being naive and wanting to give the benefit of the doubt, I waited to see if he needed help with something (stupid, I know). He asked me, "How old are you?" My guard went up, but my stupid ass told him my age, and then asked "why?" He said "Oh, you look a lot younger" and walked off. I always thought it was weird and rude, but I never made the connection until just now. Holy Jesus, that …

DAMN. I love this post. We should definitely maintain a healthy skepticism of men, because they pose a risk to us. It's not mean to withhold our trust; it needs to be earned, and even then it can never be gained 100% because you never really know a person. No one is entitled to the privilege of your trust.

A smart person learns from their own mistakes. A wise person learns from the mistakes of others. This is why we need to listen to the stories of other women, and it's why I come to this subreddit. Most of the horrible experiences shared here haven't happened to me yet, but reading them helps me be prepared. Now I'm much less likely to give men the benefit of the doubt at my own expense.

We're definitely visual, but there's usually not much for us to look at... 99.9% of sexualization in the media is of women for the benefit of the male gaze. Where are the sexualized men for us to look at? I want to be catered to by the media for once, dammit!

Yes!! I love her videos. I distinctly remember hating my body as a child. A child! I have no idea where I learned it from, but obviously I absorbed it from somewhere. Everywhere we look, we're bombarded with beauty propaganda.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
