...because a woman was interested in casual sex, but not in repeating what sounds like an underwhelming experience? Yep, we're all doomed.

Yes. It was a legitimate problem with an ex fwb.

1-2x/week works for me. I usually do after work Wednesday and Saturday early afternoon. If I'm going out at any point, I'll do it right before instead.

Microdosing (meaning a dose so low you feel zero effects, .1g for mushrooms, 1/10 tab for acid) is a little less obvious in its benefits than actually experiencing psilocybin/LSD: https://newatlas.com/science/psilocybin-microdosing-equals-placebo-clinical-trial/ This is why I recommend a slightly higher .3-.5g mushrooms or 1/5-1/2 tab, you'll get some effect without it being disorienting.

They're definitely not fake. I think /u/jaypb182 was trying to say that tripping balls every night you go out to a normal club is not a good idea long-term. But we're not talking about tripping, we're talking about a small dose which you could certainly do every time you go out. The long-term success stories people tend to have are NOT in a club environment. If I'm going out, it's a small dose (1/5 tab or so) where I feel good and function totally normally. If I'm working on internal shit, it's …

Equal to LSD in how "beginner friendly" they are. The practical differences are that they last less time (this is a positive, LSD lasts too long imo), are relatively easy to grow/make yourself, cost more, and are harder to store. That said, for me they're much less enjoyable. My body feels really heavy, I get really emotional, and if I take enough to get visuals they're very sharp and fast. With LSD on the other hand I'm really calm, and the visuals are sort of soft and slow pulsing/moving - the…

I don't need to, your pictures are irrelevant. I'm not saying looks don't help, but they absolutely don't beat everything. As someone who put the work into go from trash game to decent, I do MUCH better now despite looking worse. Looks help a lot if you're bad at starting conversations and they'll get you leeway for some fuckups. But I were betting between a guy with average looks and great social skills versus the opposite, I'm betting on social skills.

Whoever said that doesn't know what they're talking about. I've only ever done psychedelics and started with LSD. I've never even drank lol.

A friend does .1-.3g. I prefer 25mcg LSD, but I just like it more than mushrooms. Also, more significant doses can help you sort out your mental/trauma shit. Just be cautious/patient if you're gonna go that route and don't go straight to 3g/1 tab.

TLDR: You choose what type of relationship you have. If you want more than a ONS, act like it. So don't have one night stands. You're overcomplicating the fuck out of this. You tried super casual sex and found it hollow and unfulfilling? Great, stop doing that. I spent a few years focusing on this shit (semi-hard case) and have turned down every chance at a one night stand because I knew I wasn't interested. Instead, I've had a few semi-casual relationships in between serious, longer-term relati…

From what you've written, yeah. It sounds she is or was interested in you and you're trying real hard to fuck it up. You're doing way too much "game" shit and it's turning her off. Even casual relationships need a balance attraction and comfort, but you've gone FULL internet pickup artist in trying to build attraction - despite it clearly being there. And since there's been 1. a clear attempt at manipulation on your part, and 2. no actual progression in the relationship, she seems to be rightful…

Yeah, I'd highly recommend a local gym. They tend to be well equipped, fun, and filled with really cool people. Hell, the gym owner is now one of my closer friends and I've even found people to trip with there lol. That's fucking awesome, and a great example of turning a "failed" approach into a positive non-romantic/sexual outcome. I've made a couple good friends out of approaches that ended up being coupled, and had a really important short-term relationship with a friend of a friend of a girl…

In short, venue matters. This would have been a lot harder to do at Planet Fitness or 24. But think of this more as a story of turning a hobby into sex than having sex with a girl at the gym. I go to a locally-owned gym because big box gyms don't have strongman equipment. Turns out local gyms are really friendly as well as being better equipped, so I talk to everyone there. When I saw her with the log out, we'd already talked a few times times because again I talk to everyone (and I thought she …

My hobby is strongman, a weird strength sport with no team elements whatsoever and I managed to get laid teaching a girl at my gym how to log press. I'd imagine you can find SOME way to fit other people into your hobby, even if it's just finding some kind of a group to talk about it with.

Because women are still people. And people have preferences. They like and dislike different things, they find different things funny, charming, atd off putting. As do the instructors. So they (and hopefully you) approach someone who has one thing you like, looks. The whole game of it is how to best put your personality on display so that those who won't like who you truly are leave quickly, and those who do latch on quickly. You can try to learn more bland, generally attractive behavior and try…

Oh, so that thing that's not promoted here. Yeah, good call. "Hi, I thought you were cute and wanted to meet you." is different from catcalling or harassment, and is direct but certainly not aggressive. Also, if you ever happen upon a thread where some noob asks, "what do I do if she says she [has a boyfriend/isn't interested/literally never has time/etc.]," the answer is always "go away." To paraphrase my favorite coach, the only thing creepier than learning pickup/seduction is trying to approa…

I fell into that hole for awhile. Some of it, like valuing brutal honesty, hard work, and to some degree stoicism, is fantastic. Sometimes good advice pops up, too. But the overall tone and ideology is so negative and unhealthy that all the goodness is lost. it's bleak and depressing, and in my experience, just wrong. I'm glad you got out of it, internet stranger. In case you're interested, Mark Manson wrote a great post that helped me get past the RP stage. Best of luck!

I've got prescriptions for my ADHD and had bad enough social skills a few years ago that I considered getting checked out for autism. Tyler from RSD has openly talked about having Asperger's, and seems like it at times, but I can't speak for him. I wouldn't presume to speak for you, and I don't know your situation, but it was worth the effort for me. I remember things being incredibly daunting and good-enough-to-function feeling really far away when I started this whole thing, but getting to a c…

I'll jump in since s/he didn't respond. On one hand, you shouldn't value yourself on your ability to attract women, nor should you try to change core parts of yourself in order to do it better. On the other, many failed (and successful, to be fair) approaches have at least one thing you could have done better. For me, it means to think back on interactions, figure out what did and didn't go well, and for the things that didn't, figure out whether they were from a difference in values/interest or…

It is. Out of the friendzone often doesn't mean you're dating the person. It means you sack the fuck up and ask him/her out, and be willing to end the (usually unhealthy) friendship if it doesn't go your way.

I can see the confusion here, and I wish fewer people would have downvoted you over it. In that instance, the teacher was talking about early on in the conversation, not overall. If you're funny/fun to be around, the person you're talking to will want to spend more time around you, whether friendly or not. If you show interest early on (hence the flirting/compliments), you're not immediately seen as someone who just wants to be friends. This doesn't mean s/he will be attracted, it means that s/h…

I was taking OP's word for it at first, since he linked a source, but now that I've read it I'm a bit less confident. I'll maintain my optimism though, as I think it's a step in the right direction, even if it's a fairly small one.

I never said I was surprised, I simply said that it grouped unrelated channels together simply based on the fact that liberals disliked them. Martin's channel is mostly lessons about finance and things related to it, Milo's is him being bitchy with tons of sources, and Fox News, aside from political lean, has nothing to do with either of them. But please do go on about how This Week in Finance has anything to do with someone "totally owning sjw cucks."

Before anyone gets out their pitchforks, it's worth mentioning that a similar hold under the same law was put on a domestic violence case for Mustafa Bashir. Definitely not a white girl. https://thesecretbarrister.com/2017/03/27/was-the-cricketer-who-forced-his-wife-to-drink-bleach-spared-prison-because-his-wife-was-too-intelligent/ This, according to the website, isn't all that uncommon, it's just rarely interesting enough to be reported on.

Fucking hell, that's pessimistic. The renaming will probably be unpopular, but they've done it anyway. Its new title is inclusive of men, and its current holder is vocally supportive of men's rights at least doesn't think men are evil, even if she's likely biased towards women. I'd call this a step in the right direction for sure. Edited after fully reading the source. Still a step in the right direction.

Oh, I was confused at first as to why this was shared here. IMO, you should have blocked out her user name, but it doesn't really matter as the thread's easily searchable. Yeah, it seems like he wasn't given any sort of a say. Not even a chance to tell her that it's her choice. Every relationship is unique though, so it's impossible to say what the potential father's role is. Some of us don't believe that life begins at conception, and would be less affected by the decision. Considering that for…

Wow. Yeah, I wish she'd left it in as well. Also, I love the irony of the, "This is what men's rights looks like" chant. Because it looks like a few people who need police protection to talk about real, statistically proven problems they face while a crowd at least twice their size calls them rapists.

This piling together with "the right" prevalent even in things like YouTube suggested videos. Since I started following Martin Shkreli's investing lessons and podcasts, I've gotten tons of Milo and Fox News coming up on my homepage. Same happened after watching some MRM videos. Even the people "trying to help" me find more shit to watch are (presumably) accidentally marginalizing it.

Do you really think that's more because of systemic sexism in hiring practices than individual choices based on societal expectations? Don't get me wrong, the latter is also a problem, but it's not patriarchy. And no one really knows what it means, because every self-styled feminist seems to have a differing definition, and yours is the most reasonable I've personally heard.
/r/MensRights16/05/17 04:04 AM

Right, which is why his statement not to debase them 'because feminists' has so many more upvotes than those disagreeing with him or the comment he responded to. Total hypocrisy.

I respect his fearlessness and bluntness, but he ignored both of the women trying to connect with him and just pushed them to give him their number. Plus he didn't seem to have any excitement about the girls, despite giving them compliments. There's something to learn for sure, but I get the feeling he gets a lot of flakes.

There's a difference between ASD and actually saying no, and the times he pulled her places, it looked like he had to put some effort into it from what I saw, even if she eventually caved. I could be wrong, but this one doesn't look good to me.
/r/seduction06/08/16 09:36 AM

It's just 20 minutes of him constantly pressurering an intoxicated woman who makes it very clear she doesn't want to cheat on her boyfriend. Sure, she apparently eventually caves, but between her drunkenness, his constant pushing, and his literally not letting her go (grabbed her and pulled her places when she was trying to walk away), it just doesn't seem right. If nothing else, this is not what we should aspire to.

I'll concede to the point that the wording and liberal use of "fuck" makes it sound like I'm overreacting and defensive. I'm not, it's just a rather extreme situation, and I felt that colorful language might illustrate the incredible idiocy of your actions. Since it clearly didn't, and you've resorted to just putting a finger firmly in each ear while yelling, "White knight, white knight!" despite my explaining the logical reasons not to hit women in public (you know, so exactly what happened to …

It's nothing to do with white knighting, she was a total cunt, and every single comment I've said has acknowledged that. Most of them have also said that he wasn't morally wrong, I haven't seen one yet that said he was. It's about the fact that hitting a girl, especially one that missed her swing, is about the dumbest thing you can do. There's no way that ends well for the guy, and the logical response is to do what's best for you. Plus, from a purely "pick up" perspective, so to speak, she insu…

Okay, I'll bite. How can you possibly say I over reacted I got EXTREMELY angry for some reason (I let my feelings get hurt because I was actually making a lot of effort to talk to people and this girl was stepping on that) She threw a punch at me, missed, and I flat out elbowed her, and when her friend tried to claw me I grabbed her hair and threw her down. I've bolded the most egregious overreactions since you seem to be having trouble. Okay, back to it: I have never felt more depressed than I …

What I don't like about MM is that it works more on showing the girl she's not cool and that you are instead of making the girl feel beautiful coming from a place of power rather than the pethetic "please like me" frame. You've, uhh...You've got that backwards, buddy.
/r/seduction05/08/16 09:17 AM

I don't think there's anything wrong with your first message, though I haven't seen the rest of the context. You're right to not invest time, but you're wrong in the rest of your title. We just know she's not interested in you, that was immediately clear. I'm assuming the "rude" comment wasn't about your joke, and if it was, she probably doesn't care for your sense of humor. It's possible you said something wrong and the correct response would have been, "Shit, my bad, I didn't mean it that way,…

Fucking hell, control yourself. I wouldn't say you were morally in the wrong, and she was definitely being a cunt. That said, have a god damn brain. You can be right all you want, but if you hit a girl in a club (or really at all, to be honest) under any circumstance, you're going to be in a world of shit. And what, you have such thin skin that a stranger says something shitty and you fly off the handle and ruin the rest of your night? Who fucking cares? The first god damn lesson of this shit is…

Yeah. I fucking hate this video. This is the kind of shit that keeps people hating /r/seduction and grouping it in with trp, and no matter how much you say this isn't what it's about, here we are. I'm guessing 90% of the upvotes are people that haven't watched the video and are just mindlessly "supporting the content" because someone deigned to link an in-field video here. Fucking hell.
/r/seduction05/08/16 08:20 AM

So you got a drunk girl to cheat on her boyfriend after 20 minutes by literally dragging her into a bathroom. Good for you, I guess.
/r/seduction05/08/16 04:14 AM

Ehh, or she could have been lukewarm on the now ex and/or interested in OP. There's not really enough context here to make a good call, and even if there was, there's always a bias. I mean, the same thing goes: if he's interested, he should ask her out. If not, he shouldn't.
/r/seduction21/06/16 10:50 PM

Step 1: Ask "What is the man that I want to be like?" Make strong mental notes. Step 2: When maxing a decision, ask, "What would he do here?" Step 3: Do that.

The idea isn't to not get rejected as much as possible, it's to attract and find women who will be interested as much as possible. The mentality of not saying things that are "easy to shut down" is wrong. Would you rather spend 30 minutes trying to convince a girl to like you, or 30 minutes enjoying the conversation with one who already does? Being direct and/or using easy to shut down openers is going to hook faster, or end the set faster. Both are good, because you waste less time with women w…

I think I misunderstood his point. I thought he was saying you shouldn't be complimenting them, but he was emphasizing the generic compliment of beautiful. That said, something is better than nothing, your intent matters more than the words you say. Plus context is important, randoms on Instagram saying "ur pretty" is very different than a cool dude you've been hanging out with for awhile calling you beautiful.

/r/seduction21/04/16 04:38 PM

A lot of people have made good point, but I haven't seen this one yet: have you seen the size of their crowds? Go look at how many people pay for their hotseat/bootcamp. There's only so much time they can spend, so rather than losing out on quality (having too many people per instructor, hiring more instructors they're not certain of), they charge at a point where the right number of people will come.

On a similar note, that's how interesting people find so much damn time to do things. You just do them. Work 40 hours a week? Cool, you're awake another 72, what's next? Gym time? Perfect, 65 left. School? 30 to go. Joined a band? Baller. I never understood how people who didn't watch TV/play games spent their day untir I started doing more interesting things.

Same concepts from Models apply for the most part. I've actually learned more from a lesbian than any other person I've met - honesty and comfort with yourself, your sexuality, your attraction to her, and whether or not she's interested in women/experimenting are essential. If she's not interested/says no/whatever, don't worry about it. She could still be a friend (hell, she could have a friend that'd be down), so don't get bothered by it. Not endorsing this method (never tried it, seems possibl…

I understand what you're saying, and appreciate the thought that went into it, and I agree that we shouldn't compliment to get a reaction. That said, a compliment isn't always a bribe or attempt to get someone to like you. For me, I barely filter myself, for better or worse. So if I see something I like, I'll say something, not to get a reaction, but because it was a thought that popped into my head. It's hard to guess with so little info about the interactions, but three main things stand out to me. Not enough touch and/or escalation. If you're not escalating gradually from early in the interaction, it's going to seem really abrupt when you try to get her in bed. Not enough comfort/non-judgmental vibe. If she thinks you von't see her as potential girlfriend material at some point for having sex with you "too early," she won't feel uncomfortable "giving it up easily." Are you too nice? Is it…

I once had sex to the CD Acceptance Speech by Dance Gavin Dance played on repeat three times. It was once of the best nights of my life. If that masterpiece doesn't do it for the girl (why is she even there?), I've enjoyed Banks' CD Goddess.

I couldn't possibly disagree more. Our relationships at their core are defined by us giving value to each other, and making someone feel good with a specific, personalized compliment immediately provides value to the other person at no cost or effort from yourself. Please explain to me why that's such a bad thing.

Do whatever works for you. A major part of the reason we talk so much here about how to properly compliment is that it stands out from the legions of idiots complimenting nothing but their body and eyes.

She doesn't think you're asking her on a date. Partially because you're not. The movies aren't a proper date.

I don't think he means to never compliment them. If you're going to cold approach, just say the compliment as the reason you're saying hi but really focus more on the interaction from there. The other thing is important to mention is, for the women that get complimented all of the time 90% of the time and some stranger on the internet sending some batshit retarded thing like, "ur pretty," not someone she already knows is a cool dude paying her proper compliment.

Fellow addictive personality here, I've never drank and been dealing with this nonsense since high school. Learn about some good nonalcoholic drinks. My personal favorite (and vice at this point) is an energy drink (Red Bull and white Monsters/Rock Stars are best) mixed with pineapple, pomegranite, or orange juice. If people question you, just tell them you have an addictive personality and can't drink. If they don't back off, you have a lot of outs anyway. I'll typically just go with pure hones…

Most of the time, "I don't drink" has been enough. People used to ask why a lot, but not so much anymore. The truth is, I have an incredibly addictive personality, and I'm not willing to risk becoming an alcoholic. Almost no one pushes past that, and if they do I'll generally say something to politely enlighten them on what a cunt they're being. In your case, an allergy is definitely a good enough reason. If they push you to drink, you can either make light of it (possibly something like "do you…

If you want to call it a "frame," amused mastery, since that's actually my personality. Think Raymond Reddington/Lew Ashby, but in my case much more sarcastic and loud.

I'm not gonna tell you not to do it. If you want to check out early like a fucking wimp, be my guest. But if you haven't got the game to lose it by now, you're not likely to lose it organically by then. I've heard two-week binges in Mexico are pretty good for your situation, maybe push back the big day a bit and get down properly before.

I don't think it's as bad as you're saying it. The same exact point gets across, but softening it makes it less explosive.

I'm always up to something, I cant stay in one place so I'm always out doing interesting. How do you go about finding things to do like this? Maybe it's where I live, but I've had some trouble with it.

I've got a bit of experience in your situation (dealing with it now, actually), and I'd like to focus on something someone else here mentioned. Do not get needy. At all. Even a little. You should be escalating both emotionally and physically to some degree unless there's a reason you can't (boyfriend, coworker, whatever), but outside of that treat her the same. Don'n get fucking needy. That's all I've got for now, but it's incredibly important and easy to fuck up, trust me.

I made a girl cry once because she had hairy armpits. Naturally, this was right after her indignant rant about how I've been socialized and trained into keeping gender roles alive. Damn right. Cry away, crazy chick.

I think he's exaggerating a bit. I've read surrogate pregnancies go at around $100k, where the average wedding is $25k. If you factor in divorce, alimony, and any extra child support that doesn't go to the kid, I'm sure it's fairly close. The difference, of course, being that the surrogacy cost is up front.

It's been my experience that women looking for what you've described don't find sex positivity to be an unattractive quality. Of course, you'll want to calibrate to some degree, but it's rare that a woman nexts you because you don't hate/judge women for having a lot of sex. In truth, the ones who do care and/or actively judge "sluts" tend to be hateful people and aren't the type of women I'm interested.

There is so much wrong here that I'm not even sure where to start. Nerdy hobbies aren't going to get you women. On that much, I think everyone here agrees. There has been a huge shift in gaming, the perception of gaming, and the amount of women playing. Magic specifically has seen a huge increase in female players over the last few years. Now looking at other games like League of Legends and Hearthstone, it's the demographics are even better. Sure, perhaps you can manage to learn enough game tha…

Phrasing and presentation, goddamnit. You got them to agree with you twice on similar topics, your last one should have simply been, "so why is it that the victim can be partially at fault for getting robbery or physical assault, but not at all for sexual assault?"

You came here asking for the advice of the people who live the life and/or believe firmly in the message of this community. One of those beliefs is that your individual well being is more important than the well being of those who cause you harm and negativity, regardless of your relationship with them. That's the answer you were given, and you're unhappy with it. So instead of bitching at people giving you advice in line with the general beliefs of the community you're asking, take it somewhere…

Heeeeell yes, I'm in. No caloric goal, keeping net carbs <40/day. Starting early 'cause Monday. Day 1: Exactly 40 carbs. Day 2: A little over at 50. Day 3: 47, gotta cut back a bit. Day 4: 50. Might want to up the goal, not sure. Day 5-7: International street fair is in town, see you guys Monday. Day 8: Great until I decided to binge on ice cream. Probably around 80 carbs, idk. Day 9: Back on track. 25 carbs, gonna kill this shit. Day 10: 55. Damn it. Gotta stop eating ice cream.
