My ex wanted to get back together very quickly and still does. Just because you have 1 piece of information doesn't mean you have all of it.

I think there’s a difference between helping someone recognize their part in something while validating that it can still be a hurtful experience despite having a part in it AND being an asshole about calling someone out

Thank you! This was helpful

I tried to keep in concise and not overload with details, but I will add more when I get a chance.

I definitely idealism him in my head. I liked what I saw up until that point. But again, you’re right, it was an idea.

This is huge wow. I felt great at first but got worse as the anxiety started to increase. Definitely a learning experience.

Thank you, I’m definitely holding out going forward. No one is going to get access to me who will potentially do this.

Perhaps. He just continued sleeping with me and asking relationship related questions, telling me guys his age know what they want early on, etc.

No

So it's not necessarily personal? Why did he say he wanted a relationship?

Thank you, this was very kind of you. I agree, he was never mine and I never really knew him. He created some sort of facade for me to like him. I agree that the short term ones can be harder to get over compared to a long term relationship. I know that the way he went about this at the end speaks to his character which in a way makes this easier. I'm definitely vulnerable getting out of a relationship not that long ago. The thing is, I knew my ex was not right for me, so it was easier to accept…

I definitely could’ve waited longer, I agree. And that is something for me to keep in mind going forward. Maybe he didn’t get to know me well in that time but moreso made the effort to genuinely get to know me. Thank you for your response.

I am asking for advice on being an alpha widow. Common post in this group.

I agree that was vague, I just tried to keep it concise. Over the course of less than a week he started pulling back despite reaching out first, then stopped responding for 48 hrs, hit me up last minute to meet up at night, I suggested another day, he didn't answer, then I texted again and called him out nicely. I want to say I'm an 8 or 9 in the looks department. Don't drink much, we had very similar long term goals, were very sexually compatible, etc. I'm sure there was something that made him…

Someone that wants kids, saw life the same way as him, likes to travel and go with the flow. Check, check, check, check. We talked about these things and were aligned on all.
/r/RedPillWomen17/10/22 02:57 PM

He made it seem like we had the same goals and outlook on life. He'd constantly say that if he didn't see something going somewhere with someone, he'd know after the first date. That obviously implies that he saw this going somewhere. He'd also say that at his age, guys know what they want quickly. Obviously he never point blank said "I see a future with you" but there were a lot of things that he said that implied that he did. And I believe that was part of his strategy. I'm not going to say I …

No, I asked him and we had the same goals.
/r/RedPillWomen17/10/22 02:46 PM

I think that's possible. But my point is, we were aligned on goals. He made it seem, up until the very end, that he thought this was going somewhere. That is deceiving.

He is a busy guy, so I gave him the benefit of the doubt when he started to pull back his communication. What is the thing you see?
/r/RedPillWomen17/10/22 02:42 PM

I'm assuming he lied because up until the last time I saw him he was still bringing up relationship related topics and making attempts to get to know me on a deeper level. He still tried to meet up with me to sleep with me and then ghosted me the next day. He couldn't even respond when I called him out on it. He created a facade that we were headed into a more serious direction and promised sexual exclusivity. Traumatizing to one is not traumatizing to all. It's possible he found someone else BU…

Thank you so much, this definitely makes me feel better. I'm trying not to internalize it as a reflection of myself. I've been lovebombed before (years ago) and this did not feel like it. But I can see this being somewhat of a game to him. The chase was a thrill and he wanted to conquer me. That's all I was to him - a conquest. When I started to call him out on pulling away, he knew he couldn't get away with sleeping with me for much longer without me taking a stand against inconsistent behavior…

I'd also like to had that we discussed sexual exclusivity so I assumed given the emotional progression of our relationship, we'd be romantically exclusive as well. And one last thing, he's not the most conventionally attractive person I've dated or slept with but when I say sexually attracted to I mean the total package.

I'm going to disagree with this. As a woman in her mid/lateish 20s in a big city, while I've started dating multiple people once, have always dropped the others for the one I liked most. Every guy I've started seeing has been seeing multiple women too. When I like someone, I don't want to see anyone else and will drop the others.
/r/TheRedPill16/10/22 05:44 PM
2

As a woman, a lot of this makes sense to me. The amount of mediocre looking men that I've been drawn to based off of their confidence, humor and ability to create a positive emotional experience for me is significantly higher than conventionally attractive men with little game. Money goes hand in hand with being able to create that experience as well. The thing is, women know the power they hold in terms of sex. We know what men are willing to do and say for it. We are more in control than men t…

As a woman, status and game matter. Not sure if I’m interpreting game as you intended but my interpretation is charisma and personality. I’d say that matters the most. For me, it’s unattractive when a man is big on Instagram, I’d prefer him to have the kind of status where he’s high up in a company or a big investor.

Sometimes people feel uncomfortable holding eye contact the whole time, it's less rude than looking around the room. That's my guess. Or could be nervous and looking away for a sec. I'm a girl and wouldn't be surprised if I did it but again that means it means nothing.
/r/seduction25/09/22 08:33 PM

The manipulative part is that he acted like he was taking me seriously, asking me questions about what I want in my next relationship, parents, etc 20 mins before we had sex then switched it up. That’s deceitful. We made it seem we were going to continue getting to know eachother regardless of if we had sex or not with other things he said and did. Had I thought at the moment he wanted to stop speaking to me after that night, I’d never have sex with Him.

I straight up said I’d love to see him this weekend with no response

Tha is so much!
/r/seduction24/09/22 03:06 PM

Yes exactly. I think he either went into it not wanting anything serious or like the second date didn’t flow as well but got better every time afterwards. But maybe then he already decided like whatever gonna sleep with her. Done with him I don’t tolerate that
/r/seduction24/09/22 02:34 PM
1

Yeah I guess that’s true. Just seemed more and more interested each date and immediately went south after sleeping together. And I do not think the sex was anything less than good in his opinion.

I don't think anything about the money he spent, moreso the time for someone who has very little

Why fade slowly? That just leaves girls more confused.
/r/seduction24/09/22 03:09 AM

I definitely will, the situation just tripped me up and made me feel shitty.
/r/seduction24/09/22 03:07 AM
1

It’s possible. He acted like we were going somewhere til the last time I saw him. So he could’ve backed off and stopped asking those kinds of questions if that were the case.
/r/seduction24/09/22 02:48 AM
1

Thank you so much for this answer. I was kind of under the impression many were projecting. I’m honestly just a nice girl who wants to find a partner. Being attractive is nice but it means you get used more often.
/r/seduction24/09/22 02:47 AM
2

That’s so true. Only an asshole goes to that length to sleep with a girl. It’s once thing if he just took me out on nice dates, said he wanted a relationship, etc. He met my friends and every date kept asking more relationship related questions, my parents, genuinely made it seem we were heading somewhere then ghosted. That’s terrible.
/r/seduction24/09/22 02:46 AM
1

Thank you so much, while I don’t experience this I can understand it. I did think we were compatible which sucks. The thing is, sex is a bit different for women than men. To me, I feel used.
/r/seduction24/09/22 02:45 AM

That has been proven
/r/seduction24/09/22 02:43 AM

Definitely eating my ego and I know I am a catch. He just seems like he’s sleeping around. I was pretty conservative at the beginning. I have a willingness to follow and like to be lead.
/r/seduction24/09/22 02:39 AM

Interesting I mean I have a nice body, natural perky boobs and a butt, small waist, etc. I’m sure short but I feel like most guys would be happy
/r/seduction23/09/22 10:29 PM

No he asked me one hour in advance. That is absurd. And I had dinner with my friends. Not a date.

It wasn't just the ghosting. It was the questions and discussions related to my parents, past relationships, etc. Always brought up by him. It was a little TOO much to bail after sex.
/r/seduction23/09/22 09:46 PM
1

Agreed it was shitty. It was little TOO much to just bail afterwards. Yes agreed with the last statement.
/r/seduction23/09/22 09:45 PM

Yup that's exactly what happened. Filled with doubt now. Especially cause he acted so serious about me til the end.

Hope so, I've dated a few before. Thank you

Interesting. He even outsmarted my male friends that date around a lot. Any advice to see through this?
/r/seduction23/09/22 09:14 PM

Thank you for your help. What else should I pay attention to? How else to be more selective? I legit thought he looked like a nice normal guy, didn't know he had money and also thought I was maybe slightly more attractive than him. That's why I liked him in the first place cause he looked like he'd have a good personality and be nice.
/r/seduction23/09/22 09:13 PM

Only reason I think that is because that night and afterwards it was so clear he was so into me, then it suddenly changed. And I'm sure has a lot of options.. tall, rich, charismatic, funny and not bad to look at.
/r/seduction23/09/22 09:12 PM

I mean I think good, he slept over more than once. We hooked up before, didn't go all the way but he saw everything. Assuming if he was super grossed out, and I'm a clean person, shower like twice a day lol, he wouldn't come back
/r/seduction23/09/22 09:11 PM

I got that vibe, I can definitely tell which ones are projecting lol
/r/seduction23/09/22 09:10 PM

the funny thing is men will make it seem so strongly that they want to pursue something with you until you have sex. it's deceiving and manipulative. would've never slept with him if I didn't genuinely think it was going somewhere
/r/seduction23/09/22 09:09 PM
2

He did try to hangout another time but it was last minute. And I'm sure he enjoyed it, I did everything he wanted me to and more. But it's possible there was something I said that he wasn't about.
/r/seduction23/09/22 09:08 PM

May I add I truly have my shit together as well. And speak another language. Anyway, how do you mean spot on?? Spot on for a liar or like seemed like it was going somewhere?

I'll tell you what I was the opposite of vanilla lol and he def seemed to really be enjoying it

I messaged with no response. He seemed to be having a good time with me before sex but 2 is possible. Stilled fucked up he was still trying to understand what I want in my next relationship, about my parents, etc until the very end. And I think the 3rd option is highly likely.
/r/seduction23/09/22 09:04 PM

Yup I'll never know. Just trying to learn for the future. There was nothing to pick up on post sex IMO. Maybe he'll text me over the weekend or next weekend for sex, or enjoys the chase + reward and would rather try to conquer another woman. Who knows. But I know he was so sweet up until the morning after, even when we were parting.
/r/seduction23/09/22 09:02 PM

I mean yeah, I don't know a single woman who's not drawn in by dominance, confidence, height, charisma, money, hard work, etc. It's just biological.

I feel I add value? I'm caring, compassionate, supportive, interesting, have hobbies, intelligent, am able to have intellectually stimulating conversations, and will do almost anything in bed. I can cook, clean, etc. What else?
/r/seduction23/09/22 08:57 PM

I waited til date 5 and we had very good intellectually stimulating conversations, laughed together, etc.

So here's the thing. He took me to breakfast the next day, texted me that night, Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday. Asked me to go to a last minute show with him Wednesday but I had a dinner. I suggested another day and got NO response. It's been 2 days.
/r/seduction23/09/22 08:46 PM
-2

Mmmm no, he was visibly and vocally into it. We both like the same kind of sex so I don't think it's that. And that's where I am getting tripped up. For a man with money and little time, that much effort for one night is just confusing.
/r/seduction23/09/22 08:38 PM
-2

I don't use emotions to get sex, I can get sex if I walk outside and saw I'm horny. Men are easy, it takes nothing. I was being genuine and wanted to get to know him. Clearly you think this is some game - gross.
/r/seduction23/09/22 08:33 PM
3

It's not even the money for him I'm sure, but the time, the effort, the conversations and the level of effort. It's so disgusting. Thank you for your kind words though, I will do my best to not let it affect me going forward but I can't help but be more guarded around guys while dating going forward. It's scary.
/r/seduction23/09/22 08:22 PM
