I do agree with the premise that choosing a partner solely on the basis of looks is stupid however I cannot understand at all how a woman liking a man because he's "tall and handsome" is this horrible, foolish thing (as long as it's not the only aspect) considering the amount of bullshit the average guy is willing to tolerate for an attractive woman... and looks being still the number one factor for men choosing their partner. It’s also not like being “tall & handsome” and “honest & dependable” …
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 11:16 PM

Huh? What are you on about? The whole conversation is about attractive people on both sides getting better treatment; if you as a guy are not above average, it makes zero sense to expect above average treatment from women (= easy/casual sex). Just as it makes no sense for a 5 to expect the above average guy to commit to her... And yeah, at the same time it's understandable women are tempted to lure the guy in by having sex early just as guys go above and beyond for a beautiful woman that won't s…

1) I've always taken care of myself by eating healthy and doing sports - it's just that if I want to be this skinny (although men always say "just don't be obese" which is not enough at all in my experience) I have to count calories every day and be very very disciplined with my workout regime (which I consider to be an equivalent to being a "gym bro"). 2) Uh yeah, that's the point, if you're average you get "mid-tier validation" which I was never surprised by and was one of the reasons I even l…

Exactly, losing weight probably made me somewhat redpilled haha. It is what it is, people (especially men) care about looks a lot, they wouldn't put half the effort into dating the average looking me (bmi 24) compared to skinny, usually wearing makeup me (bmi 19). Men literally rate women on a scale from 1-10 and treat them accordingly to how high/low they are but "how come chad gets all the pussy 🥺" lmao.

What are you talking about? Does your future only revolve around work? Because for me it's stuff like where do we live (city/town/village?), how do we live (house/apartment/vanlife?), do we have kids/if yes how many, do we save for later or just "live in the moment".... and so much more that will impact my day to day life in a much greater way than whether we have sex once or three times a week

Haha never thought about it that way, but you're onto something here; I mean I always believed men had to know how pointless dick pics are: but the way you explain it... makes kinda sense

I mean sure they'd still fuck them, I don't deny that; the theory is if she reveals too much (her insecurities, fears, negative experiences etc.) too soon she won't be as exciting anymore, will possibly be seen as desperate/insecure/difficult by him... so he'll fuck her, won't commit and will go looking for his femme fatale; women don't care nearly as much about sex the way men do (which you probably know); she's not afraid of being seen as unfuckable (the bar is pretty low for that) but as not …

Yup; that's why the 50s housewife wasn't nearly as happy as the red pill often tries to portray it. The guy had all the power, knew it and often abused it.

Read a bunch of books about dating that were written for women (by both men and women) and... in many, women are basically told the same thing haha "don't say too much" "don't be an open book" "remain mysterious, he'll want find out more about you" etc.

Where do you guys find/see all these high n-count women? I'm in my early twenties and have yet to meet a woman that would have sex for a free meal or some other similarly ridiculous reason. Literally every young woman I am/was friends with/know through friends is either in a LTR or single, none of them would have sex for a stupid meal or "just because", only one had 2 hookups, didn't like it and is now in relationship. I mean my social circle is definitely not big enough for it to be statistical…

Hm I admit it's really difficult for a guy to be flirty just right and not creepy/too much... At first/second date, I would mostly try to turn innocent things into sexually charged innocent things. For example hugging: A guy I'm currently seeing hasn't even kissed me yet but when we hug... Jesus 😌 He's very aware of my breasts and I'm very aware that he's taller/more muscular than me, I know that he knows, he knows that I know. And he's not touching my breasts/ass, cause that's what it would mak…

I'm not currently in a relationship but date someone who I hope to be my boyfriend soon. I've been on dating apps for quite some time now, so I can kinda tell from the profile, whether that's the type I'm into (nerdy, introverted, around my age, ideally a student). Honestly, I cannot really say what it is about him, it just clicked. We're different enougt to complement each other and similar enough for a LTR. He's nice but confident, very smart, respectful but makes it known he's into me. Also, …

I’m really sorry you’re feeling this way. You seem to have that introverted melancholic personality (same here), so you need to take some precautions to not get too depressed too often. Don’t seek happiness – you won’t find it. Define for yourself what’s very important (family? partner/wife and kids/no kids? what kind of job/professional path? having some close friends?) and somewhat important (hobbies? holiday twice a year? more free time?) – now do everything in your power to achieve those, ig…

Personality-wise, try to be the best version of yourself. If you´re a nerdy introvert you won’t convince people that you’re a free spirited extrovert – it will be unnatural, people can usually pick up on it quite quickly and it will only push them away. Therefore – the best version of your natural personality. However, social skills such as small talk, being able to talk freely about yourself and some degree of debating are a must. Socializing your kids and them being able to make friends early …

Jesus, it's an equivalent of the male fantasy "she's super horny about me and only me and wants to have sex all the time". It ain't that deep.

In an ideal world, people with low n-count would date each other and people with high n-count would date each other . A woman that has slept with 10+ men should not expect the future partner to not care about her sexual past. At the same time, I also hate the notion that somehow a guy that slept with xy women and then wants to find a virgin/low n-count woman "has matured/set his priorities straight etc.", like sure but it's the same thing.

I'm not using the family member as proof, I'm giving an example from my life. People usually form opinions based on theory and their own experience (Also: Why would I lie about his height and appereance? If he was unattractive and unsuccessful, well no wonder he's alone?) If you see a long term relationship as "sticking a penis into the same person for life", well you're already doomed and I agree you're better off with a dog. But a dog will never replace a person. It doesn't love you, it likes …

Because it's the better choice, in no way is it perfect but better. First, no matter how introverted, people need companionship. Friends are just friends, they're not family and never will be. How do you form family when you no longer live with your parents? Well, mostly through a romantic relationship. If you have just casual relationships well that's what it is, casual. It's not special, you're not special to anyone, it has no meaning. It's wet masturbation and at the end of the day you're alo…

I'm no Karen and try to find some good in everyone but this post... it's everything that's wrong with the red pill - teaches you how to pick as many women as possible and at the same time hate them for that behavior. Be an "alpha" with high n-count and after having your fun find a good virgin girl (you'd call this alpha fucks beta bucks when a woman does it but whatever). The hypocrisy is just incredible. If you seek again and again the same type of women (the type that sleeps with you on the fi…

So you pumped and dumped xy women and now complain about all the sluts out there :) You're sick in head, this is what happens to men that sleep with anything that moves - they become bitter little bitches and are not capable of respecting anyone of the opposite gender (very healthy for marriage and kids!). Promiscuity is bad for both women and men, no you don't deserve a virgin wifey and kids, you deserve the same women you already slept with (or just lay down and rot).

How come? Men here complain all the time about feminists and how the average woman doesn't care abot male issues / rights, ok so she takes the time to look into it and is therefore weird? You can never do right.

You end up looking like a loser to whom exactly? I hear this quite often from guys, is it your friend group? Future girlfriend? Can't you just make some story up if it's too "embarrasing"? You've already been with one girl + "had one or two hook ups and realized it's basically wet masturbation and you need some connection". Now you're definitely not a loser, you've been "enlightened". I was once on a date with a guy who told me he has an n-count of around 10, he didn't even remember the exact nu…

You describe as if there were only two types of men - submissive kpop twink and giga chad. For me, a man is someone who has a plan for future, is responsible and wants to have a family... so it's his mindset and plans, not his looks. Personally, I am into "boyish" men (introverted, lean, no beard, longish hair), my friend is more into those muscular, overly confident guys (to me a red flag but to each their own). Yes, we both want a MAN with the qualities I mentioned earlier but have a very diff…
