| 2 | A question for women who have strict standards about heighti think most women can’t actually visualise 6ft. it sounds nice to brag about to friends but its not such a big deal when actually looking at men. “i only date guys over 6ft” normally means “i only like guys >3-4 inches taller than me, which is not so hard. dated a couple of guys who were about 5’10 and plenty of my friends thought they were way over 6ft. just don’t give the actual number and let her guess lmao | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/12/19 02:03 AM |
| 2 | Rich men marrying young women: are the men using their money to take advantage of the woman for their youth? Or is the woman exploiting men’s tendency to irrationally overvalue beauty to live a wealthy lifestyle without having to put in the work/risk themselves?Though on the surface it seems like a fair deal, in my experience the men do tend to take advantage of their younger wives. These very rich & entitled men end up quite controlling in a way I don’t see happen as often in a more “equal” relationship. Of course there are the men who are exploited out of their money because they think they’re in love but I think that happens more to average middle class guys and less at the super rich level. | 5 | What is it about most men that makes them undesirable to women?I think women value attractiveness less than men, instead prioritising other factors. When these other factors are removed (eg online dating) women have to judge by attractiveness & therefore of course flock to the most attractive, well groomed, highest effort men. 100% I think social standing is the biggest thing. Having a lot of friends, male and female, suggests you’re a decent guy and also that by dating you she gets a wider social circle. Know lots of girls that give fairly unattractive guy… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/11/19 03:19 AM |
| 3 | What is it about most men that makes them undesirable to women?I think everyone tries to surround themselves with people they see as “good enough” ... funny enough, kind enough, smart enough, right friends, right music taste etc... It’s 100% one of the main things women look for in friends & partners. why wouldnt you want that? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 11/11/19 11:49 PM |
| 3 | Becoming "red pilled" is essentially just realizing that women are people.I agree there’s an unconscious bias, but i don’t think it’s because they realise women are people - quite the opposite I think they have this “women are wonderful” bias because they see women like you see your bunny, but then when a woman does something bad they flip to the other side of the binary like you would if your bunny bit you. It’s precisely because they don’t see women as people - because they see them as a weird homogenous group separate from them. So they can’t separate one annoying/… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 11/11/19 11:21 PM |
