My asshole ex was textbook narcissist, very charismatic with delusions of grandeur, he would often compare himself to famous historical figures, talk about how someday he would be super rich, have a throng of girls (and he would constantly ogle every girl on the street, was porn-addicted, tried to convince me to be "poly", and cheated at least once) etc. He would constantly compare me to other girls and say they were prettier but I had a better personality, so that's why he'd rather date me...Ex…

I'm guessing she probably became interested in it because of porn / "sex positive" media pushing it (or maybe even her bf pushed it) and it sounded "cool" in fantasy but realized she didn't like it once she tried it in real life.

A beautiful woman gives the "ugly but nice" guy a chance and falls in love with him? In a Hollywood movie? Groundbreaking.

oh man...speaking of aging, i follow the fields of healthspan and regenerative medicine (as it's an area i plan on going into myself) and there was recently a big drama over this. basically there was a popular gerontologist guy who turned out to have acted inappropriately to at least a couple of young women in the field, one who was a minor and his mentee, talking about how he had to refrain from calling her "hot" and talking about his sex life with her because she was a minor but "his equal in …

I wont deny that there have been plenty of men who contributed to science, technology, and civil rights NOT related to females, but I gotta wonder if women couldn't have achieved the same, maybe even more, if they weren't so heavily suppressed or ignored.

Wow, I had never heard of that before. I just read an article that tries to make her father sympathetic. It says her father was trying to "help" her by giving her a lobotomy, but it went wrong and she got paralyzed/stopped speaking and got sent off to a mental hospital for the rest of her life. Quote from the article: “He had to be destroyed by it. That’s the only way I can explain it. It’s an incredibly heartbreaking story of a dad trying to help his daughter and hurting her. What could be wors…

Take his computer to the police. They have advanced forensics tools and will likely be able to recover it and send him to jail.

Gross, men don't give a shit about passing on their old defective genetic material to their children, they just want a little copy of themselves

Glad I stopped watching it when I was about 18. Kind of weird to say I *stopped* watching something was supposed to be for 18+ when I was 18, but that's just the reality of it...

Interesting what she said about the average life expectancy for a porn actor being 37 years and 78 for the average person. I don't know what countries were involved in the study and if they studied both men and women in the porn actor group, but considering sex differences, it seems that the average life expectancy for an American woman is actually 81.1 years. That's a 44.1 year life expectancy difference.
