To me an arranged marriage meant something like defining who you would marry not much time after you were born. I don't know why you would interpret it like that. That isn't how it happens at all.

Both families set up two people on a date, with the strict expectation that there is nothing sexual that happens not even kissing. If they like each other they'll continue going out, again without sex or kissing and then when they're ready to get married they do. Timelines look like 2-6 months from the start of the process. Quick, efficient and every party involved is dead serious.

I don't disagree. It's still good money even in North California but nothing about this level of earning raises interest. I'm assuming that you have to be earning like a million an year to "get" any woman you want to date you. Point is, the market is brutal for men in ways women would never understand.

I'm implying that they are unable to date someone and have sex within a relationship. You have to be really obtuse to interpret my statement in any other manner.

Unearned Westerner arrogance, I see. Arranged != Forced.

Arranged marriage does not imply non-"liberation".

They're either brown skinned or are 5'5'' tall. I deliberately omitted this detail.

Sex is readily available, quite literally, at the average person’s fingerprints these days. Unpaid sex? Nope. I know a bunch of 450k making, decent looking, not overweight and smart and sociable kissless virgins. The market is brutal for men in some cities where making 450k-500k annually gets you zilch of a relationship.

100k an year? I know plenty of 450k making kissless virgins.

Fucking duh, a LOT of these people never cared about EVERYONE'S bodily autonomy. They get outraged when it is THEIR body. A lot of them would happily throw this "principle" (my body my choice) under the bus the moment it's something else.

The "high" pay I see in this sub makes me chuckle. Making 250k+ is incredibly common these days (atleast in North California) and all the struggles that low earning men face are faced by men earning 250k - 500k.

I'm 27, I make 350k an year, I'm fit, drive a Tesla, do very well at my job, take care of myself and have good hygiene but I don't swim in dates. I also have decent hobbies like regularly playing Tennis. I get a TON of matches, but I barely go on a date because close to 98% of my matches don't even send an opener "hey" on Bumble (I can't send an opener on Bumble as a man). In other apps I'm respectful, try to open the conversation with a fun question but even then women are simply bored and stop…

All the libertarians are busy shutting the fuck up and making serious bank. There's a significant number of libertarians in tech and other "rich" industries that just know how wise it is to shut the fuck up and go on with their businesses. So many tech millionaires are libertarian and the rest of the population wouldn't be any wiser. Meanwhile the leftists keep screeching about the latest "injustice" of the day and try to figure out ways to antagonise normal people. Libertarians know better than…
