| 1 | Would you let a SO travel if she was gifted a solo retreat of Thailand? So am I reading this correctly... essentially a guy should Never allow his SO to indulge in any solo traveling ever? Because solo traveling is inherently a temptation trap for a woman? Again.... not trolling. I recognize that there is a math that was missed in terms of her dreams + his comfort level, but other parts of your replies indicate that female solo travel under any circumstances is an unacceptable risk for a man in a relationship Edit: just read u/trpchecker below which basically answer… | /r/askTRP | 06/01/17 12:30 PM |
| 3 | Would you let a SO travel if she was gifted a solo retreat of Thailand? To pull from the sidebar: "don't mate guard. Betas mate guard" By demanding that she either: not go on the trip, or threatening to accompany her and be sour the whole time - sounds like he is mate guarding. Is she taking a long foreign trip with someone who apparently is trying to game her? If not then I don't see the issue. If TRP is about self development and actualization, then this guy should be confident enough in his self worth and also the integrity of the relationship to not look at this as a threat. Now obviously if there is a background of information that makes him not trust her … | /r/askTRP | 05/01/17 12:42 PM |
| 1 | Is “Lack of Manliness” the Cause of Mass Shootings?Hmmm I think its a pretty far stretch to say that solving the issue men not having more "manly causes" would address these awful crimes, but I think there is a good point made about frustrated males having fewer outlets to vent that stress. I.e. back in the day maybe I would go hunting and release some endorphins with that physical activity and feel useful, rather than sit in a cube for 8 hours a day. But I also think that the prevalence of these weird and heinous crimes is also a product of a l… | /r/MensRights | 04/11/15 11:33 PM |
