Men often times just think women complaining is just them complaining, they sometimes don't take it seriously. If she is yelling at him and he still will not change his habits, he may not truly understand the seriousness of the situation....or he simply does not care. Being in good shape is not a plus for me, it's an expectation. Being overweight is a slippery slope, because it is very easy for a person to go from being 30 lbs overweight and then 5 years later they weigh 300lbs without knowing what they did wrong.
