What the actual fuck is wrong with men? Seriously? How do the men who send random insane crap like this ever think it’s okay?

100% I was groomed at 17 by a 34 year old man who promptly married me 6 days after I graduated high school. When I see things like this post, it literally makes my skin crawl and my stomach churn.

May I ask, how old is your daughter? Mine is 11, and we have talked about some things regarding boys and their actions but I’m not sure at what age is a good idea to get more detailed regarding what lengths they’ll go to for sex. I knew girls who were sexually active with boys at 12 when I was younger so I know it’s not out of the question that boys could start pressuring her and her friends soon.

This is so disgusting. I have an 11 year old daughter and I’m absolutely terrified for the day she gets her drivers license and independence. Not because I don’t trust her or because I haven’t raised her to see red flags and keep herself self - but because creepy ass men like this guy who will harass her and potentially try to snatch her from a parking lot.

I dated a fireman, a cop, and a guy in the navy. Done with them all! A close friend of mine was married to a career marine for over 15 years and even though I obviously don’t know everything that happened in their marriage, what I did see for myself was horrific. He was a horrible human and an even worse husband. He used to bring strippers home and make her watch him have sex with them - because he told her she was too fat to please him anymore- but yet wouldn’t divorce her. When she finally got…

I don’t know why, but really pretty men - solid 10/10 kind of guys - are nice to look at but I can’t date them. Everyone I’ve gone out with has been pompous, or overly focused on themselves and maintaining a certain image, or just didn’t have two brain cells to rub together to engage in decent conversations. Hard pass.

Dated a fireman once. He was so damn hot, and the chemistry…. But woooooow was he a walking man whore douche bag. They’re all now relinquished to a fantasy only. Along with cops and men in military uniforms.

I had a guy so convinced I was crazy about him after one date he literally met with a realtor about putting his house on the market so he could move closer to me (only lived an hour away) after ONE date. And, he was a cop. 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩 This was pre FDS so I tried having a conversation with him. He was actually shocked that I told him he was being presumptive and moving waaaaay too fast based on one mediocre date and a few phone calls. He then proceeded to talk to me as if I should be GRATEFUL that he w…

Yes! The opposite of love isn’t hate, it’s indifference. And a LVM can’t stand to be in that position.

I would be mortified if a man did this. I’d move to another state just to get away from him.

I worked with this guy, and became good friends with him. He was my ‘work husband’. We sat beside each other for three years. Never really even talked outside of work other than being friends on social media and the occasional comment. On the surface he was the absolute best person. Went out of his way to do nice things for people, stood up for the little guy, always had a friends back. However, he was former military, had PTSD, and was a recovering addict. I was a PickMe when I worked with him,…

I would literally rather starve than go to dinner with a man I am not interested in or attracted to. I have better things to do with my time, and can buy my own dinner. Dudes need to get over themselves.

True story: I have a friend who had this ‘guy friend’ who would constantly message her about his problems. She finally got sick of it and told him she was going to start charging him. To which he replied okay it’s worth it. So she would chat with him through Facebook, and every 15 minutes she started sending him a $25 request before she’d continue, and he paid it! After an hour and a half he quit talking to her and then the next day asked her for the money back. And she blocked him after telling…

I dated a guy briefly once that not only started telling me detailed stories about his prior sex life, but proceeded to pull his phone out and show me a half naked picture of his ex gf that he clearly took without her knowledge. Never went out with him again.

In the darkest depths of my pick me days, I let an ex talk me into ‘swinging’ and I can 10000% confirm that’s what 99% of those people look like. My vagina would dry up and zip itself shut when they’d approach us.

I disagree. Green flags don’t equal HV but I think those indeed are the green flags that indicate to get to know more about the person to discover if they’re HV or not. If they have red flags that’s a sign to cease communication. Edit: typos

$3. THREE FREAKING DOLLARS. She can’t even buy a double cheeseburger and a coke from McDonald’s with $3. This isn’t wholesome, this is the epitome of desperation.

I used to work in a bank branch and my favorite customer was this 94 year old lady who would come in every couple weeks and sit at my desk and chat with me while I’d run her stuff to the tellers so she didn’t have to stand in line. She was 94 but honestly looked 75 at best. She kept her nails done every week and had a standing hair appointment every Friday. She walked daily at a track in town. I asked her once what her secret was. She said she’d been married once, realized men aren’t worth the e…

This is one of my biggest fears as a mother. While I don’t think my ex would do anything of that nature, there’s no way to know for sure. Or if not him, someone that visits his home while she’s there.

Nah sis, you’re off base. If YOU don’t like makeup and don’t want to wear it, then don’t YOU wear it. Don’t come at those of us who enjoy makeup like we are some sort of misogynists who are too stupid to know why we wear makeup. This is the second post I’ve seen on FDS recently attacking women for wearing makeup. What’s next? You gonna attack women for working out and getting in shape ‘bEcAuSe mEn LiKe iT!’? You stay in your lane doing what you like, and I’ll stay in mine.

I wear makeup because a flipping want to. I like it the same reason I like to draw and paint. It’s a form of expression. I work from home and most days only see my daughter but I still will put makeup on daily because I LIKE IT. Frankly I’m kind of shocked at all the negativity toward it and those who wear it by this sub. Do better, y’all.

Part of the divorce decree was that she had to remain in England the rest of her life. Henry’s marriage to her was his first politically driven marriage and he basically forced her to stay in England as a hostage but was good to her because he didn’t want to anger her family. She was referred to as his sister after their divorce.

It's a text, not something that takes a lot of significant effort. Even less than confident men will initiate text conversions with you if they're interested. If they're not, then they'll respond to you when you text them because you're going to become an option to them if the dream-girl they're chasing falls through.

I was manipulated and borderline raped during a time when my ex and I were split up. ( I don't call it rape because I never told him no, because I was scared so I just went with it and waited till it was over so I could go home.) I told my ex about it when we got back together and confided in him that I felt very used and gross after it happened. He acted all upset and angry that it happened to me and wanted to find the guy and beat him up. <insert eye roll> As soon as things went sour again he …

Or if they do apologize its just more manipulations. My ex apologized all the time. "I'm sorry I hurt you. I'm sorry I failed you. I'm sorry I failed us." Blah blah blah. I used to believe it until I realized he was doing it to get me to lower my guard so he could keep me on the hook.

I tried that once too, though we didn’t date very long. He wasn’t very attractive, was overweight, and very self critical. BUT he was intelligent, made me laugh, and was a good father. But he was so paranoid I was going to leave him or cheat on him that it ended before it ever really got started. (Thankfully I never slept with him or he would have for real lost his mind.)

However, one thing that I think is crucial to remember is that YOU are the only person you'll have for life. THIS. This smacked me right in the face. I'm going to make this into a screen saver for my phone so I see it every single freaking day! <3
