1	Why do women have high physical standards when looking for a hookup but not so much when looking for a relationship? 3	Keep striking out on first dates This is so weird to hear.. here in the U.K. I’ve spoken to multiple men I’ve dated about it (I always offer to split the bill out of politeness and fairness, even if I’m really into the dude) and they’ve all said they would find it rude if a girl didn’t offer to split. If the man wants to settle down it’s still easier for a guy to find an amazing, beautiful, smart, motherly, committed girl than it is for the woman to find the same with the man. Doesn’t really matter about the age. It so true that women are the gatekeepers of sex and men are the gatekeepers of commitment.
