So what is your point exactly then?

She comes first and come as you are are practically an institution for this kind of thing. Cosmo isn’t actual literature lol. You cant possibly think its just as easy physically or mentally.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/08/23 05:54 PM

Its all about emotional safety going both ways, unless you want a man who is only performing to be seen as ‘enough’. That is exceedingly rare in our culture.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/08/23 03:07 PM

Im not arguing existence of a difference in orgasm count. Im arguing the cause. It isn’t that men are more selfish or bad.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/08/23 02:13 PM
8

Yall just cant comprehend the relative amount of work and difference in mental it takes. Instead of that being an explanatory variable you want it to be “man bad” How many books are there on how to turn men on and make them cum? Its not even comparable. I work hard for my women, but rarely do they destroy themselves for me in turn. If anything the gap is reversed in my relationships usually.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/08/23 01:57 PM

The key detail here is that she is your friend My ex wife still wanted to be my friend when she was fucking her boss. Also lol at telling women they need to curate their emotional presentation for men in turn. “You should smile more!”

Women and courts frequently browbeat men out of the kids lives as much as possible then gaslight the kids and society about it. At the end of the day we are forced into our roles as wallets at every turn.

My dad had to take me away after my mother woke my brother up with a liquor bottle to the face a few too many times. The court system still tried to give me to an abusive junkie mother instead of my incredible father due to institutionalized sexism. The court battle scarred my family for decades and my dad has lasting trauma from it. Ive seen it play “the other way” a few times now. Multiple toxic women hollowing men out and using the government to do it.
/r/AntiFeminists29/03/23 12:08 PM

How is that vague lol

I was super secure with my ex wife having a guy friend Until she fucked him. They can do what they want but I’m out of there. Its not insecurity. It’s practicality.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/23 12:49 AM

Part of this is because of the trend that people are essentially growing up later and later in life

Oh like how my ex wife said she was literally never attracted to me and just needed stability as she cheated her way out of a stable marriage and into the money I earned? Get a clue.

/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/23 01:51 PM

I was in great shape and doing everything right and my ex wife ignored me sexually for our entire relationship until she finally cheated. It destroyed my confidence. Until I hit the dating apps and had more opportunities than I had time. Save yourself man.

Shes not attracted to you. No gymnastics needed. Become attractive or leave. This will eat you alive.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/01/23 09:30 PM

Do you lift weights? Do you do cardio? Do you eat reasonably well? Do you get sun and fresh air? Do you socialize and take an interest in others? Do you attempt to master anything? Do people in your life count on you? Do you count on you?

You’re out of practice putting yourself first. Learn to spit the social engineering that encourages you to be disposable and discard it. Invest in yourself for yourself.

First thought when shes changing elsewhere was that she was or is considering cheating. Sex surge was the nail in the coffin. He needs to detach completely and brace himself.

Thats not how it ends up I remember the moving goalposts well. Somehow its about a quarter of the work when I live alone. Once choreplay hits the scene it’s checkmate. I dont think women are evil, i do think women are encouraged to blame the men in their lives for not eliminating all frustrations, and that women are also encouraged to blame not being attracted to their fat boring husbands on chore distribution or social calendars or whatever else doesn’t sting as much as reality

I picked up a girl who was a boob model, like posters and stuff, and when we got back to her place we messed around a while and then she went to shower after. She farted in the shower and it was so loud I heard it ricocheting over the TV. I pretended to be asleep after that. The next day I got her Fazolis and she straight up asked if I wanted to go back to her place and fuck after but I kept replaying the fart in my head and told her I had to go help someone move furniture.

Good for him. Now he can work on himself for himself instead of being on a treadmill for someone else. And make his own decisions about drugs and their tradeoffs. I remember the household task goalposts. Funny how it takes 1/10th of the work when single.

Trauma dumping only gets wheeled out as an idea when men open up in the first place If I’m going to have the self control and restraint to perfectly calibrate my vulnerability to both keep her comfortable but give just enough for her to know whats going on. Why even take the L? It only benefits her. Nobody is demanding vulnerability from men for the man’s sake if you really look at what people are saying.

Muscles do most of the work for lust. I live like I’m poor on the surface. I drive a 2006 accord with rust and a clean interior and shop at Aldi. I suspect it helps with the mindset though. I can relax on dates.

Getting jacked and making money from working my ass off turned me from drought to being annoyed by women trying to fuck on the first date every time. It makes an unbelievable difference.

The only word that mattered in this entire post is polarizing Safe men are definitionally not polarizing
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/22 05:08 AM

There is no such thing as toxic masculinity. Only toxic behaviors. Its now marketing wordplay to vilify men, not what it originally was conceived to be. Eventually we start realizing all of this is just another stick to beat us with.

Except Ive bought weed from other people prior, and after, and know tons of stoners who confide in me about their experiences and weve all determined that weed dealers respond to certain things in reasonably predictable ways in aggregate My own story just highlights what regular people are capable of. Anyone can do awful things. I think used car sales is a more appropriate analogy. If you aren’t vigilant from the start you’re going to get fleeced.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/22 04:02 PM
1

The threshold for technically sexless is pathetic It boils down to this for me: I was in a dead bedroom marriage and it was hell. As a single man I have sex essentially whenever I decide to. I wont live like that again. My ex wife married me for money.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/22 03:42 PM
2

Maybe but shes still attractive I think its one of those cases of having to compete at the edge of her industry you pull out everything you can
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/22 03:28 PM
1

Yep. I ran myself ragged and it was never going to be enough. Its nice to live for myself. A divorce I didn’t want saved my life.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/22 03:26 PM
1

I think I spend maybe 10 percent of the effort I did when married despite living in a more pain in the ass place I didn’t want a divorce and nearly martyred myself to avoid it but I have to say It was a gift these days And she wasn’t a bad person at all. Its just how marriage is
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/22 03:10 PM
1

Endless books address this but people still want to delude themselves.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/22 03:07 PM
1

I was married. Most of my friends are married. Most of them have dead bedrooms and the men are treated like cattle. It’s the reason I don’t want to marry again.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/22 02:57 PM

My ex wife constantly went on about how hard it is despite my busting my ass around the place. Everything was apparently oppressively hard and she was exhausted Big shocker that when I ended up alone somehow it wasn’t all that hard to keep a tidy home Its manipulation and social victimhood
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/22 02:52 PM
1

I took a look and it is objectively Shes still painfully attractive People are just saying it to rebel against the social gag order / mandatory deification of hot women
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/22 02:15 PM
3

Its easier that way dude
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/22 06:13 AM
3

Women eviscerate men socially for their height constantly then double down and blame them for listening to the unanimous social discourse The amount of effort and cognitive dissonance it takes to bootstrap confidence from social scraps to be valid as a man is ridiculous and basically mandatory delusion unless youre lucky
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/22 06:10 AM
1

Average dudes get bashed irl by default constantly. Disposable is the baseline
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/22 05:59 AM

Men aren’t allowed to have negative opinions or it’s misogyny apparently

My brother in Ronnie they are shaped like barrels. They are obese.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 10:08 PM

Are you fucking smoking crack What the fuck yes they are. They would capsize a row boat
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 10:06 PM
1

Anything short of disfigurement is pretty much better than obese for people without fetishes
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/22 02:46 PM
2

Yeah fucking on the first date isnt hard at all. I know women who have boned dudes and not even know their names. You’re in a bubble.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/22 07:58 PM
1

This x1000 Ive been on both sides of this and you have to taste what being lusted for is like to really get it.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/22 07:56 PM
3

That feeling when you have all of the sixes but love is just an evolved chemical madness to trap you into spending resources and time on someone else until something better comes along or you die
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/22 07:20 PM
2

Rare that she asks directly lmao. Unless some oblique test story sharing comes up You just have to act like someone who would have a history
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/22 02:57 PM
1

Yeah but in aggregate its leagues better. I’m 33 with several long relationships under my belt and sort of enjoy seeing these debates from the side of having some life experience since I suspect a lot of posters are just speculating sometimes.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/22 04:05 PM
3

Absolutely true but due to social valuation and desperation men cant see that. Takes a rare woman to beat being single.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/22 03:47 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate04/11/22 12:09 AM

Unfortunately I agree due to experience. Sucks having to be so one dimensional.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/22 10:38 PM
1

The point is exactly that there are many reasons. I agree with you. So many that it’s a minefield for men to get married. One of those among many is weaponized intimacy.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/22 10:37 PM
1

Of course it sounds that way to you. Its hard to accept.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/22 10:12 PM
1

They want us to be vulnerable for them, not to them.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/22 10:06 PM
1

Not disagreeing but it is the case that society will shame a man who leaves when his needs are jot being met and in the same breath will shame him for not meeting hers. There is a lot of hypocrisy there. Men would better be served by stronger boundaries since it’s obviously not ethical to try to control someone else. Unfortunately if we aren’t martyring ourselves instead we are subject to all kinds of hostility.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/22 08:51 PM
1

This whole vulnerability thing is hilarious to me because theyre demanding it from us, not FOR us. Even our vulnerability has to be perfectly calibrated and useful to women while we are expected to just take whatever comes out as is. Damned if we do, damned if we don’t. I’ll vent to my therapist only.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/22 07:40 PM
1

Because marriage is the end result and it can be catastrophic to get wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/22 02:01 PM
2

Thats not what I said. People think you can build it in a vacuum when in reality you need safe people
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/22 07:53 PM
5

This falls into the same chicken and egg cycle where we learn our worth through our interactions with others. This whole idea of bootstrapping your self confidence as a panacea is pop psych madness
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/22 05:52 PM
14

Is it insecurity if its rational? The other side of the same coin is delusional confidence.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/22 12:55 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
