Everything I’ve just read here sounds exactly like my situation. I should take comfort in knowing I’m not alone in what I’m going through, but I’m not simply because that means there are that many other men experiencing the same level of insanity that I’ve had to endure. I’m sorry, man, and I wish you the best. Hope you get a break one of these days.

Long story very short, When she decided she wanted out, she took the kids, fled the state and it took me a year to track them down. After I got them back, she decided to make as many false allegations as possible, and did everything she could to brainwash my kids. It’s cost me tens of thousands, and I kept telling myself that I’d fight it until the last penny and then fight more. Unfortunately, that came a whole lot earlier than I expected. The kids are calling someone else dad. I hardly even ge…

Back during our separation, my ex had her mom call the police on me, alleging that I was attempting suicide because I had stated that the divorce and losing my kids would kill me. It was clearly metaphorical, but she tried her hardest to have me committed.

I’m surprised with that much in it, it didn’t overfill the valve. We had a counter on an oil gun go bad a couple years ago, and one of the new techs didn’t know it. Thought he put in 4 qts, ended up being closer to 4 gallons. You could see it flooding the valve cover and it sounded like a boat when they fired it up.

I’ve been in the business for about a decade, and The shit I’ve seen will make your head explode. Had a customer once show up 60k over on her oil change. Canister oil filter. Had to cut it off with a ziz wheel. Same woman couldn’t get her tire pressure light off, so she kept adding air. 120 psi by the time she made it to the shop Thank god I’m in custom work now, and I don’t have to deal with idiots anymore.

Get a PI to do some digging. If a the cheating can be proved, and there is the potential for alimony, it may help his case. Get a good female divorce attorney. The one I had was able to see through my ex wife’s bullshit and lies, and it really helped out my case.

I tried to ask my daughter twice if he had ever hurt her, once she said yes and then later said no, but she’s only 4. I also know for a fact that my ex taught her to lie, so I’ve got that playing against me as well. Thankfully, she trusts me, so I may be able to get more out of her later. As far as the pedo, allegedly, he was set up by a girl lying about her age, but I don’t trust it either way. I don’t think she’s trying to run, she still believes she did nothing wrong. But, she’s a narcissist …

I know that’s a strong possibility. She has never held a stable job, never had her own place. It was always her and the kids couch surfing from friend to friend until they got fed up with her. As soon as I picked up the kids, she quit her job and moved. I would love to see her get it together. I believe in a nuclear family, I believe that kids need both a mother and a father. And I want her to be in the kids lives. But I’m not going to stand by idly while she puts them in danger or neglects them…

Internet points are the last thing on my mind. I started this journey fighting for my kids a year ago, and with the help of guys from r/divorce_men and eventually r/MGTOW, I was able to keep going. They are doing amazing. Total change in demeanor. The first couple days were rough because they had severe separation anxiety, didn’t want to stay with the sitter (they knew her before the incident) and didn’t want to sleep in their own bed. But thankfully, we’ve fixed that and they are now sleeping well, and are begging to go to the sitters house to play with her kids. I’ve stayed cordial with my ex, even after all of this, for the kids sake and they get to FaceTime their mom at least once ever…

I remember the days of working crazy hours and being in the military. I’d be gone for a week or month or whatever, and when I got home, I didn’t want to shower, I didn’t want to eat, I just wanted to sit there and have a beer to relax myself before I started unloading gear and getting shit right. And it would make her livid. I can’t count the number of times I was called an alcoholic

Normally, I’m like that too, but with this not being my regular bar, and not knowing a whole lot of the people there, I wasn’t even in the mood to deal with it. It was one of those days where I just wanted to be left the fuck alone, if you know what I mean.

Second on the bank accounts. Before I was red pilled, my ex wife had access to all of my finances. In the end I was struggling to keep the lights on or make a $100 month bike payment, because she was blowing it all on alcohol and cocaine.

I figured that since I was close to drunk enough to start running my mouth the best option was to just nope out of it all. What was even crazier to me was that the only one to even somewhat take my side after it was all said and done was my buddy’s old lady. Then again, the three of us have been good friends for a long time, and they know my situation with women and how I am.

I was out bar hopping with a couple people I ride with last week. Every bar we showed up to there was this one drunk bitch that was being annoyingly obnoxious. It’s not atypical to see the same people as they are all in the biker community, but I was doing my best to avoid her at all costs. At the end of the night, she dropped a chair in front of me, told me to move (I was sitting in a corner, minding my own business), and when I didn’t immediately move she called me a rude asshole. Ive always been a fan of them for hauling. My parents had a 5th wheel camper when I was growing up, and I’m currently into vehicle customization, so it would benefit me for hauling vehicles. Not to mention, diesels have a reputation of reliability and tend to last far longer than gas engines. Just my opinion

Not if she was the one handling the finances. I’ve got a buddy that’s about as blue pilled as it gets, and his wife is the only one that has access to the accounts. She gives him a weekly allowance for lunch at work. Dude literally has no idea where his money goes. Edit: spelling

The guy that owns the shop I work at bought one of the infrared turkey cookers for thanksgiving last year. That bird was dioecious. I’d be interested to see how that filet mignon turns out. Thanks for the salmon idea, I hadn’t thought of that yet, so I’ll definitely give that a go

First thing I made was bacon and eggs with onions and peppers, which I’ll admit I was never good at bacon (May have been from having cheap pans). But once I got the hang of how quickly and evenly cast iron cooks, it made the cheesesteak a little easier to make.

I literally just got back from the store with a new one tonight. Making burgers this time around, but I’ll be baking the other two in the meantime. They are lodge brand, and apparently “pre-seasoned” from the manufacturer (field and stream is where I got them). After one seasoning of my own, the griddle still had some food stick to it, but it wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I did go ahead and buy the plastic scrapers, but if you use those, make sure it’s cool before you use them, …

I’d have to say one of the most important parts, to me, is knowing when different meats are “done”. I’ve had instances where I thought it was good where I cut into it to check, but other pieces were still undercooked. For example, I tried pork chops in Italian dressing last week. Ive never done pork before, so I just checked online. Directions said 375 in the oven for 30 minutes. It was almost an hour before I could tell they were done Then again, I’m pretty sure my oven is shit. Another thing, …

Sliced white American and mayo. It was all I had at the moment, and i got a little ahead of myself. I didn’t realize how fast the steak would cook and I was trying not to burn anything. Second attempt/sandwich turned out better.

All I did was cut up some onion, green and yellow pepper, and tossed it on the skillet first. Once it was 3/4 of the way cooked, I put the shredded steak on there and mixed it all together for another 5ish minutes. Cut the rolls in half, to toast the inside, slather with mayo, laid down some cheese and topped it off with steak. I used a steak seasoning on the meat, but I don’t remember what it was offhand.

I’m just now getting back to square one, and the only credit I plan on keeping in the future is my snap on tool bill for work. I’m currently debating on going rent-to-own on my house (monthly va disability is the same as my rent), and save up all but $500 a week (for bills, gas and food) until i have a decent chunk, and paying cash to update and renovate (last updated in the 90s, going fro…

As a mechanic, it’s a love-hate relationship with my career. I build custom vehicles and cool shit, but it costs a fortune in tools (just one of my toolboxes empty was $26k), and I’m always blowing money on my projects. Another downside is that once people find out you’re a mechanic, everyone has a car that needs fixed. At the beginning of the separation before she decided to just take the kids and leave the state (yes I know it’s illegal, but I have no idea where she’s at to have her served), she made my life difficult to the point where I had to take pictures of every mark or bruise that my kids (4 and 1 in age) arrived with. I don’t have a problem with black people. Hell, I’ve got a black sister and brother. I’ve got a buddy that’s white and married to a black woman. Me personally, it’s not my thing. I’m into Italian chicks, maybe because I’m Italian. It’s just my preference. My issue with the comments isn’t about specifically the race aspect, but the fact that so many people have an issue with his standards. Tell me. Do you have standards? Angles at the axles are decent. The kit came with new adjustable upper and lower control arms for the front and shim plates on the leaf springs for correction. the angles at the transfer case are shit, but it seems like it’s coming more from the front than anything. I degreased the slip yolk and it helped a little, but I can replace both driveshafts with Adams 1310s for less than $500 total, and I’d like to upgrade them anyways.

Still need to get tags on it. Took it for a test drive last night and had a driveline vibration. Thinking drive shafts at this point, but I know it’s going to need more work to get it right. Other than that, it rode pretty stiff, so I wouldn’t want to do any high speed cornering in it

Depending on the size, type and brand of the lift, it can range anywhere from $150 for a cheap rough country spacer lift, to $750 for a midrange 6.5” mid arm kit (like this), to $3000-4000 for a high end 4 link swap. But, that’s just cost on parts. Labor ranges from 3-10 hours on most kits, and most offroad shops are somewhere around $110/hr. This one called for 6 but bolts were an absolute bitch, so I was closer to 15 hours all in. Luckily, I installed it myself, so I saved that money. I think …

I’ve been the lead tech at an offroad shop for 2 1/2 years. I’ve got a ranger I used to take offroad, but it’s only 2wd so I’m trying to lean towards a Baja build on that one. I lifted this one for a customer a few months ago, and he decided it needed too much work to keep it. Ended up cutting him a deal and got it dirt cheap.

I’ve got a roommate right now, and I’ve told her she has to be out by the first of the year. Yeah, I said her, and I know I’ll catch hell for it, but it’s a long story that happened before I went MGTOW. A couple weeks ago, I found that she had thrown some of my stuff away without telling me, and broken a computer that had all of my important documents from the last 8 years. I’m not dealing with it anymore.

I’ve had roommates throughout the years, either from bringing people in or couch surfing when my life would go to shit. Kept thinking it might help me financially, but in the end it always ended up costing me more, either monetarily or in stress. I’ve learned that people will never respect your space like you do. Best bet, once you get on your feet, stay alone.

I was in (army) between 2011 and 2015, so it’s very possible things may have changed. Back then, I saw quite a few officers get pink slips for things that had happened a decade before, and lower enlisted get chaptered for anything that couldn’t be almost immediately disproved. Not exactly relevant, but I read over the 2x post you added. As a mechanic, those techs are idiots. I don’t know if you were in when SHARP became a thing, but recently, even an allegation is enough to get you booted. I’m just guessing here, but I think it had something to do with the downsizing. It was more cost effective and efficient to remove any potential problems than to investigate them.

Becoming self sufficient is something that can not only be a hobby, but also bridge the gap with societal needs. For example, learn basic automotive or home repairs, learn how to sew, outdoor survival techniques, shooting and firearms management, hunting/fishing. Eventually, you will build a collection of tools for different trades and you won’t have to rely on others to get by, which will also save you plenty of money in the future. And, if you find a hobby that you not only enjoy, but are good…

I have a feeling that the MGTOW parts were filmed first, only because after that, they got into parental alienation, and you could see just by her face how troubled she became from these stories. Not going to say she was red pilled by it, because I doubt that would happen, but she sure as hell got to look beyond the glass.
/r/MGTOW13/11/18 03:34 PM

It’s not. The entire video is about men’s rights and parental alienation. I hate cnn, but Jesus... for once they had heart. Watching this, these other guys going through what some of us, if not most or all, have gone through, it solidifies not only the want, but also the need for MGTOW. If you ever feel like taking the dance with the devil, fuck beating off. Watch a couple of these guys clips and it will give you the push you need to stay away and say no.

Literally what happened to me before I went mgtow. Sad part is, I knew it was coming and I called it. Busted my ass working 12 hour days (minimum) while she partied with her friends all day getting coked up (I’m just now finding this out). Most ironic part? His name was literally chad.

Ex wife was a bartender. Before that she was a waitress. For 5 years, and she had 2 different associates degrees for something in pharmaceutical and medical. She didn’t make shit for money, worked shit hours and had an obsession with spending as much time off work at the bar as she did at work. Eventually she left me for a guy literally named chad who went there. Side note, because she was the youngest one there, and she wasn’t a bad looking girl, she was constantly getting hit on. Everything fr…

Same thing happened to me, only we were married only 5 years. It blew my mind that she would respond to sexual comments from married guys TWICE HER AGE with kids older than she was. And then post thirsty shit on social media so she could complain about “too much attention” later. Worst part is, I’m not even mad about it, it’s just mind boggling.

I like to believe I’ve been around the block a time or 10. Freemasons, despite their acclaimed history, are good people. It’s good to find a brotherhood. For me, it was the army. After I got out, I was fucked up. I felt like I didn’t belong. So I found other vets to align myself with. Find something you love and stick with it. Honestly, this whole MGTOW movement is new to me, like as of the last 2 weeks. A month ago I was trying to find a reason to live in women. I hung out at bars, was on tinde…

The day she didn’t come home something clicked. I was talking to a buddy of mine the night before, a real religious guy. He said “all in God’s time”. And somehow it made sense to me. The next morning, I woke up early in my recliner, and sure enough she wasn’t home. So, In a solid state of mind (in the back of my mind I knew all of this was coming), I packed up her stuff, cleaned my house as best I could in the time I had, and went to work. She tried some sob story about how she had “thought abou…

My current roommate is a gay chick (not one of the 67 gendered, purple haired, lgbtwhatever gay chicks). She was going to originally help me with my kids as a babysitter after my wife left, until the demon decided I wasn’t allowed to see them anymore. I don’t ask her to pay rent because I make enough to cover it as it is. We split food, dip and cigarettes, and she cooks and cleans while I’m at work so it’s a fair enough trade. Maybe I’m lucky because there’s no drama, but she’s just like one of …

Acceptance of your situation. Get in with good people, find a hobby or job and get serious about it, stay away from booze as much as possible (it makes that dark place seem a lot darker when you’re drunk), hit the gym, just stay busy. An idle mind is the devils plaything. I spent 5 years as a simp, a cuck, whatever you want to call me, because I believed if I worked harder and gave her more she would change, or maybe she would come home instead of going out partying. 6 months ago, she took our 2…

Thanks for the advice. It’s felt recently like I’m at a loss wherever I turn, and it’s frustrating. Sometimes I just feel so drained and done that I want to give up. I needed this motivational kick in the ass.

Called cps, investigation turned up nothing. Went to family advocacy center to file a restraining order on behalf of myself and the kids, but because it was over 7 days since any provable incident didn’t want to screw up anything with the cps investigation), they said I was SOL as far as getting anything granted by a judge. Talked to my lawyer, and she wants $6k up front to do emergency custody paperwork, which I don’t have because the STBX blew through any money I did have for the years we were…

We have been off and on for the entire 5 years. I’m never one to delete anything, and recently, it’s been my saving grace. As far as any other option, ive done everything I could to try to get a handle on this, and I’ve been shot down at every turn. And it’s irritating. I just want to be left alone and see my kids. And I want to know they are safe when they are with her. She just wants to screw me over as much as possible.

Getting out of the house is a big one that ties in with depression. For the last 2 years, I wouldn’t leave home unless it was something absolutely necessary or for work. And if I was gone for more than 15-30 minutes, my anxiety started to kick in. Honestly, this is still one of my biggest issues. It takes a lot for me to even go to a buddy’s house down the street. Take it slow, and don’t get upset if he would rather stay in more often than not.

If she does find out about you, expect problems. That’s just the way types like her and my STBX are. Best way to handle it, put a stop to it immediately. Stand your ground. If she says something out of line to you, send her packing. Once you assert your dominance, you have a better chance of her backing down. She wants an easy target, and that’s why she’s doing what she’s doing to him. He doesn’t fight back, he just leaves, so she thinks it’s getting to him. Be respectful, but direct, and she wi…

Depression was possibly one of the hardest fights of my life. I had a pretty messed up childhood, dealt with a lot of shit no kid should ever have to go through, so my baggage extends past my relationship with my STBX. It’s only been in the last few months, ive been better controlling myself. I’m not one to talk much about how I feel, I just clam up and deal with it in my head. But I’ve spent a lot of days thinking about leaving everything, taking off to the hunting camp my parents have and livi…

I don’t have any advice for you, but damn, man... sounds like you got one hell of a dependa... is your leadership working with you on all of this? I remember when I was in, some of command hated having to deal with marital situations.

Haven’t gotten too serious into dating again yet, but we have almost mirroring situations. It’s one thing to be divorced, it’s a whole different game being divorced with kids, especially if his ex is acting like this. We have this baggage we now carry with us whenever we get into a new relationship. If we like someone, but we unload this baggage at the wrong time, it could potentially screw up any further relationship with the new partner. Share too early, she may see it as a sign that it’s too …

Good to see you are staying busy. Keep people who are actively supporting you close. anyone that isn’t, isn’t worth your time. I don’t know if you are religious or not, but spirituality can be good for getting yourself in the right headspace to face your problems head on. Grief is normal. Just find a healthy way to cope with it. Take it from me that trying to survive solely on beer, tobacco and 3 hours of sleep a night doesn’t do anything to help you. Another word of advice, as cliche as it may …

Met my wife while I was in the army. We are currently on our 3rd and final separation. From this, I’ve learned, if it’s over, it’s over. Separating once, having them run off with someone else, and then eventually coming back to you doesn’t make the marriage stronger, it only messes with you more on the mental side. If one of the party doesn’t want to partake in counseling, or they aren’t making the obvious attempt to fit the relationship, just give it up. Yeah, seeing your SO with someone else s…

Had the same thing happen with me. Had an AWESOME female attorney, she only had some guy fresh out of law school. She absolutely shredded him.

In cases of custody and restraining orders, I’ve always tried to go with a Female attorney, obviously one with good reviews. May cost me a boatload if money, but you get what you pay for. I’ve always told my naive ex wife when someone was putting the moves on her, “I’m a dude, I know how we think.” Same applies in court, if not more so. If your ex is the type to play the “poor me” card, a woman on your side will be able to see through the nonsense and call it out immediately. Divorce and custody…

One thing I noticed during my separation was that if there was anything that may be solely in your name purchased after you got married, there is a possibility of keeping it. For example, I’ve got a Harley and a boat, both in my name only. She has no license for either, and the boat was a gift from my family for payment for work I had done a few years back. My attorney told me they wouldn’t be included in the divide, and I would be able to keep them because I was the only one certified to use ei…

Obligatory IANAL, Depending on the state, it shouldn’t matter when you take them. When the STBX and I split last time, I was told that as long as I had the certificate saying that I had taken the class, it was good permanently (for example, got married a second time, had another kid, and got another divorce, you only have to take the class once). But then again, I’m in nc. If it’s the class I’m thinking about, it mostly covers how to present yourself at pick ups in front of the children, and how…

She filed an RO against me the last time we split, just because I mentioned that I wanted to see my daughter. Shit cost me $2500 in attorneys fees, sow of which was wasted because my stupid ass took her back thinking things would change.

It’s now been heard by the sitter as well as myself. Last night when she picked them up, they fought going home with her. I’m the meantime, my daughter has been asking about me nonstop.

Luckily, The babysitter is one of my clients. Until they started going back there, the children hadn’t been bathed in 2 weeks, and they are wearing the same clothes for days at a time. The day I posted this, my son only went through 2 diapers in 12 hours, both wet, not stool. My daughter went once. The sitter also told me that last night they both refused to go home with their mother until they were forced to. My daughter asked to call me last night, and was in tears because she couldn’t see dad…

Wish I would have found this thread a few days ago... I’ve been going through the same thing. I get pissed about some of the stupid decisions she makes, like refusing to come home and be a family rather than be out with her friends or going back to her hometown. And I try to talk to her about it, but she refuses to compromise. Eventually, I get fed up, ask her if she wants a divorce, she says yes and moves out. This is now the 3rd time it’s happened, because she finally realizes the grass isn’t …

God I hated that part. My soon to be ex and I split up around 2 years ago, and as I was trying to leave, she reached into the truck where my pistol was (I was trying to get my firearms away from the situation and over to my buddy’s house). All I could do was instinctively drop her on the ground, nothing serious, just to get her away long enough for me to flee. Later, I was contacted by 4 sheriffs and 2 city police, evicting me from the house. Cost me $3000 in attorneys fees, while she got hers f…
