Which is why I chose to say "gender agnostic" over a feminist buzzword ;). If we accept there are specific egalitarian imbalances with gender then it would make sense to have a specific movement to address those issues (as opposed to a very broad philosophical term), no?

True.. true. In terms of economics, I always believe that I believe in some cases a left-wing solution is apt and in others a right-wing solution, favouring pragmatics over ideology to try to solve the issue. Would that not also be applicable in this context?

That men are always seen as the abusers and never the victim? I'd agree that would make it quite incompatible. The frustrating thing for me, and what drove me to write this post, is I see logic on both sides and I see injustices that need to be solved. Modern feminism seems to be some modern, trendy movement at the moment that obsessed with hysteria, shaming and virtue signalling but I do not feel that feminism is fully synonymous with that. Perfectly valid point, I'd perhaps argue that this is where a male voice has been missing. With such a strong focus on women, a male perspective gets ignored. I'm arguing for working together, not saying "MRAs just need feminism".

I don't see how what I have said is in any way incompatible with this. I'd argue it embraces it. I am saying cultural expectations of men to be """men""" lead to men facing a lot of problems. I am not making a toxic masculinity argument.

Well, I'd suggest it should be someone's choice as opposed to forced on them by society. The same as I have nothing against women who want to be housewives, there is nothing wrong with having career-focused men. EDIT - I'm implying career-focused is "traditional", but you hopefully get what I'm saying. You should be free to live how you want.
