"Incredibly fascinating stuff" - I had the same reaction after encountering Theravada / Pali Canon first time. If you decide to delve deeper into this, I wish you best of luck, and hope that studying the teaching ascribed to Buddha Gotama will relieve a dukkha immanent to this weird experience called "life".

"The worst part is WHY we work. It’s because everything breaks and everything is constantly depleting." Perhaps, Theravada Buddhism will be of interest to you? "All phenomena are transient, unsatisfactory and not-self" is one of the basic premises of that religion.

Seeing people rising against psychopathic tyrants is a beautiful sight, brother! Hope your kinsfolk will kick Vucic's ass out of the office and will not be mislead both by external forces and sweet lies of the long row of psychos who'll undoubtedly attempt to fill the vacuum. From Russia, with love!

Sometimes, changing the entrenched views of the other person is possible. May require some brutality though: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4-MVMbm6c0k

Hey, take it easy, oh the logical (though it appears you're suffering from the severe case of Dunning-Kruger with regards to "logic" and "reason") high IQ one! I recall you've declared winning the debate, why steam so much?

While I agree with you, people have amazing capability to find reasons to believe in whatever they want.

First, I haven't deleted anything. Second, ad hominems and strawmen are pathetic. Have you even heard about the compartmentalization? I have no intention to replay the years-long debate between believers in the normie version and false flag attack here. My intention is to tell you: your futile attempts at shutting down alternative opinions will fail, better get used to that.

Thank you for supporting free speech and thought, normie! Or should you be more appropriately called brainwashed fascist bootlicker, who thrills on shutting down opinions divergent with the fantasies implanted in your poor head by MSM and government "experts" such as NIST?

For anyone interested in the phenomenon of "institutionalized" psychopathy, the book "Political Ponerology" by Andrzej Łobaczewski is a highly recommended reading. Author gives succinct description of the "ponerization" - the process of infiltration of a powerful entity (government, corporation, political party) by psychopaths and its macro social consequences.

"The gap between how we think the world operates and how it actually operates is the source of our suffering" Indeed, that's very similar to the core tenet of Theravada Buddhism: ignorance (for example, of how all things, including body, mind and consciousness, are: impermanent, unsatisfactory and not-self) is the root of all suffering.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
