I think it's all in delivery. Sure a bit cheesy but if intentionally so i think it'd be commonly well received. Perhaps with something added very playfully after the universal book of rules line something like "but attractive guys are allotted 3 girlfriends...I know, I know, the rules are a tad sexist but i didn't write em" It's all for naught if she has a bf anyway, so on the off chance it is a shit test/reaction why not have fun with it?
