Meditation is DEFINITELY key, to notice the bad thoughts and let them pass right through your brain.... VS. repeating them over and over and over into a downward spiral.

I can vouch. I'm 33 now divorced for 1 year. Was only married 2yrs. This past year I've been juggling and banging so many chicks I cannot even keep track. It's a job in its own. Self improvement is KEY. Focus only on yourself and what makes you happy; everything else falls into place.

I got my divorce because of the last point. In my mind that is the most important one and IS FUCKING SPOT ON! Great post!

Got divorce raped because I ignored this HUGE red flag in the beginning of our relationship with my now ex-wife. This is LEGIT information - RUN RUN RUN!

Dude great post - I really like the point of her giving you her number (this app drains my battery - NICE!) vs. the other way around! Been doing pretty good on Tinder so far, but there is always ways to improve!

Sounds like the iPhone Health app? Or even the iPhone Under Armour RECORD app... I could be wrong though - but thats what I automatically thought about while reading your comment.

True. We have the mediation session thing with the judge and the mediation panel this upcoming Thursday. My lawyer said he is going to try and wrap it up right then and there. We will see what happens. That would be great if that were the case. Get her out of my life!

I also have a good lawyer. I guess time will tell. UGH IT SUCKS!

Jesus. Yea it might be a little different because we were only married for less than 2 years. However, she wants alimony. I don't think the judge will give her that. She lived on her own before marriage, she has a very stable teaching job, etc. We lived with a lot of debt. So I really do not see how she would get that.... There is not ONE valid reason she has to get it.... What do you think?

Great post... My marriage was just like this, and now I am going through a divorce. If I only just set a bunch of time to BETTER MYSELF and do things alone or with my friends without her, I feel like we would still be together. We were together so much (I work from home) and did everything together that I basically couldn't take it anymore. There was a bunch of other shit, but this was the main thing that caused me to lose frame and in turn the marriage went off a cliff after only a year and a h…

Yup agree- I am already having the time of my life without her even though the actual settlement is lingering over my head. Have you gone through one before?

Yup going through a divorce now - and I am so so so so improved, even though the day will arrive when I get divorce raped by the ex and will move on with a positive attitude and never look back. It's material things & money that I will acquire once again down the road. THANK GOD NO KIDS!

When they ask you if you have any questions, switch them right back at them. Their role, how they got there, how long they've been there, their career path to get there ETC....

Yup works like GOLD on interviews. Ask the person about their entire career (multiple questions as they continue to talk about themselves) and they will love you by the end of the meeting.

I burst out laughing reading this: "Does he like me? What is he thinking? Am I winning him over? What's that feeling? Is this love? Oh my god, did I wet myself?" However, its so so so so soooo true!
