I'm fully aware that the extra income will figure into higher child support payments but that's the least on my concerns right now. She still makes more than me so I'm hoping that off-sets a little, but right now I'm in preservation of self mode. The second job is "hopefully" just temporary as I have interviews lined up for a few different positions that would get back to the salary I was previously earning before a layoff. | 2 | Moving into an apartmentI'm somewhat in the same boat. Ex moved out but I'm working 2-3 jobs right now just to try to keep up with my mortgage and other expenses. I want to keep the house because it's the only one my kids have known but the cost difference between an apartment and a mortgage is making more and more sense.
