2	Many feminisms vs. many MRMs Particular schools of thought at particular times within feminism may use patriarchy theory, but patriarchy theory is not part of the essence of feminism itself. There are many movements and ideologies that attempt to achieve equality for women politically, economically, and socially. These schools are all under the general heading of feminism.
