In my opinion, self confidence is an attractive trait in a woman. Not being afraid to approach a man shows that she has self confidence.

Because it gets tiring supporting an able bodied adult. Eventually you start to resent your significant other a bit for having to pay for the entire mortgage, vacation, dinner, car repair bill.... the list goes on and on.
