Actually, it depends on your definition of homeless, the definition of homeless is very loose: https://endhomelessness.org/resource/changes-in-the-hud-definition-of-homeless/ A person is defined as homeless if they are simply in danger of being homeless. Not as many men make it on that list since they are very unlikely to be in contact with social services.
