yeah buddy, you're the man, straight up, no question about it - the single most important author on the interwebs from my perspective. keep up the great work. i'll shake your hand and thank you in person someday for all of it.

yeah man pay the ten bucks, don't be a cheapskate. you won't find too many writers on the interwaste more useful than cernovich, focused and motivational and not a giant doucher. might as well help the guy earn a living.

Lots of reasons, probably--but they all very likely boil down to the basic human craving for stability. You should be able to think it through from there. Also a factor might be the subconscious drive for a more challenging conquest. Either way, don't feel bad, you're probably making the same choice most men in your position would. The low hanging fruit will very likely still be there, ripe for the picking later on, should you find yourself unable to land the more conservative prudish option. A …

It's funny, I actually didn't even notice that last sentence.... "What behaviors and traits indicate that a woman is an Alpha Widow?" ...until I'd almost finished with my little rant/response there but by that time, I'd already formed that same thought. So thanks for having my back Holmes, glad you get it too. PS, How do you do that cool little quote grab thing here on Reddit?

If you're asking yourself that question, then no, you aren't. I'm sure that sounds flippant, but it's true at the deepest level. The question bespeaks major insecurity, lack of abundance mindset, and waaaay too much give-a-fuck. Sure, I get it, you're asking about you compared to the spectrum of cocks this woman has had stuffed in her. Not you against the world or something. Fine. Point taken. But forget that man, don't get trapped in this downward spiral. You're the best YOU she's ever been wit…

My man! Don't hate on the long hot showers! **I guess maybe a disclaimer is due. I am still alive after 20 years of doing the following. However, one can die or cause serious internal damage if their core temp gets too hot. So maybe if you'd like to try this, do some research first, and take it easy the first few times. Ease into it. Hope somebody out there digs this bc it took me like 10min to type on a phone. I do what you're calling a "contrast shower" here, and they're great. I highly recomme…

I tend to have a short fuse and am prone to losing frame at work when things go south with a job or with coworkers or whatever. To combat this, I put on an audiobook such as The Meditations of Marcus Aurelius, or the book of Proverbs, or the Enchiridion of Epictetus. I find that it's so much easier to maintain a strong & positive state of mind when I have strong & positive thoughts flooding my eardrums all day long. librivox.org is the website I use -- they have all kinds of old books on there, …

The short answer to this is No, in general we do not want to be the lone TRP man with ample survival skills in a sea of beta males and lost, mentally-ill women. The long answer has probably already been given in the previous comments, but I'll rehash it quickly from my own perspective, just for grins. The thing about TRP is that, sometimes, for some men, they find it and they think, "well lookie here, it's my golden ticket. I will now have some sort of special powers that will enable me to outpe…

Make her watch a movie or read a book or something -- one that is MEANINGFUL to you on an intellectual or philosophical level. Most of the men here have a certain depth intellectually. Most of the women everywhere in the west do NOT have it. Don't waste scads of time with Q&A and (dear God) buying into a woman's bullshit PR. If the intellectual piece is lost on them (say they don't read the whole book or fall asleep halfway through the movie) -- then they're basically no more than a hole for you…

LIFT. And learn to love women, and men too, as people, in spite of their faults -- sometimes even because of them -- because we all have them and everyone is fighting their own difficult battle. But understand clearly that while you love and respect everyone, you have to learn to see people's actions for what they really are and avoid the ones who are using you for their own insecure and/or egotistical purposes. There's lots more, but those are the 2 main things.

I got offered a new job today at my current company's parent company. I've passed up on offers from them before, because I've been comfortable here for almost 7 years. I know everybody, I know how to do all the jobs, I get shit done, and I'm surrounded by beautiful women whom I view as art on the wall, since we're coworkers and they're off limits. Taking the job at the parent company is going to be terrifying. It's high level enough where no rookie should attempt it, and though I have clout ther…

My man there are 2 important, very well connected concepts in that post that tell me you are on your way to success. It even seems you may already have an inkling of how they relate. First you said you need to straight murder that part of you that is a loser. Then you talk about being depressed and wanting to kill yourself. The first part is the key. Do not kill yourself. Kill the weak aspects of yourself. Suicide doesn't have to be literal, it can be a symbolic thing. And one must die in order …

Heheh fellas I do appreciate your concern but I'm talking about a relatively small, very tame state park, not really far from town at all. Plus I had my phone. It was really about the allegory of cutting through the woods to get back on the road to my goal.

Hey! This may be old shit to a hiker from the SW but I'm from THE LAND. I took a trip to AZ last year to meet some old college friends (THE trip that caused me to discover the red pill). An ex told me to bring my gear bc we were going hiking. Went to this place called Havasupai.......if you've never been there, pack your shit and go tomorrow. Most unreal place I've ever visited. Deserts, giant waterfalls, blue water, oases(?), forests...and the wild horses, bighorn sheep, and feral dogs...just a…

Always a pleasure. You're right, I am very lucky to live here, although its easy to forget that sometimes. I also definitely wouldn't recommend trying to cut your own path someplace vast and/or dangerous....or would I? Suddenly I'm not completely sure anymore. Maybe many times, that's the right thing to do.

That's great, I'm glad you appreciated the post. Spoiler warning! I think one of the most poignant lessons too is that he keeps fighting the sharks even when he knows its hopeless, and he gets home with nothing, having gone through that huge struggle, and doesn't piss and moan or whine about fate or his own bad luck. He goes home and goes to sleep and he's going to get up and do the same thing tomorrow, because as he says, "It is what a man must do". I also love that the Yankee tourists in the b…

Sure it is, but that doesn't make it any less relevant. Many people, including me, have found tons of useful knowledge and motivation in works of fiction. I mean, just look at religion. All fiction, sure, but jam packed with real life morality lessons? Definitely.

umm just to follow up: here's a nice link to a selection of quotes (and possibly spoliers) from The Old Man and the Sea. Almost all of them....well, you can damn near feel the testosterone oozing out from the spaces between the words. https://www.goodreads.com/work/quotes/69741-the-old-man-and-the-sea My favorite of them all: “Fish," he said, "I love you and respect you very much. All the other commenters have made great points, but in response to the question in your subject line -- How do you fix being motivated by external validation? A big part of the answer is in meditation, as in, looking deeply within yourself in order to understand WHY you are motivated by validation from the outside. Validation is nice but once you dig deep within and figure out why that is what you crave, and I mean really understand the actual reasons behind that drive. Once you get to the root…

Like they used to say on G.I. Joe, "Knowing is half the battle." I think you apply this knowledge by now looking at what the "great" people do. There are almost always examples you can find in your own life, be it work, school, family or friends -- and if you can't find any great people there, look elsewhere like biographies or even religious stories, stuff like that. It's always going to be a gamble. A woman (or man) who makes great choices today may make terrible decisions a month, a year, a d…

Men, too, have natural predilections towards certain unwise/unhealthy/unproductive/destructive behaviors. All PEOPLE are like that. Not just women, men too. And for women, same as men, the defining factor that separates great ones from good ones (or worse) is the ability to self-reflect and imagine the negative outcomes of poor decisions, and then make a conscious choice NOT to make those poor decisions. Even though biologically, genetically, whatever, women may be by nature predisposed towards …

I've always asked myself that same rhetorical question but with a slightly different angle. I'm sure someone has already brought this up. If a chick decides I wasn't good at sex, that means I ALREADY BANGED HER. Mission accomplished. Sure, repeat performances are great and when you find yourself a pro, you naturally want to keep that plate spinning as long as you can -- so it CAN be a big benefit if you are a good sex man and can deliver the goods. But ultimately, it doesn't matter. You already …

I dig some of those posts. I'd rather read a thousand posts that point out worthwhile role models and behaviors than half the retarded shit that ends up here. Even if they do come from the world of fiction. Maybe somebody should start a "now THAT'S redpill" sub where these things could live.

I dig your answer my friend. I apologize for baiting like this but it wasn't 9/11 truth I was really looking for, it was just a slightly underhanded means of drawing out people's personalities via their comments. You seem like an intelligent, multidimensional person who is capable of thinking on terms deeper than black/white, yes/no, or is/isn't. Props to you sir.

Your last sentence there nailed it. I don't know what MRA means though, and don't care. I see a lot in posts & comments here or other places in the 'sphere that makes me very concerned. Red pill is great, but many red pillers come off to me as pathetic stereotypical douchebags. This question was just my way of fishing for responses, to see if this is a club I'd be ashamed to belong to or not. That directly affects me, and I have control over it. I wish there had been more responses, but yours an…

Good question. I asked just so I could get a sense of who was out there & the kind of people they are. I dont give a shit about 9/11 truth vs conspiracy, but it's a polarizing issue, polarizing in just the particular way that I wanted to explore. There area a few others but 9/11 would have worked the best, if I'd have been able to drum up more responses.

Good call dude, I forgot he did that at the beginning. But isn't it alpha sometimes to recognize a super choice baby raiser like Pam and put in a little time to steal her? Granted, when she was with that one guy Jim was super beta all the time. But that's how TV shows get female viewers!
/r/askTRP27/02/15 03:55 AM

Sure, I'd say Jim is an alpha. He's definitely the alpha among the characters on the show. Although, to make him sellable to female audiences he is betad down a little (or a lot). But still though he's a big guy, well dressed, fun, good looking, all that. And he had some nice plates & LTRs on the show. He even wife's up the good one. Definitely alpha. Myth confirmed.

Heh well the OP brought up the politics but yeah I wondered that same final question out loud too earlier. I was the last kid to get paddled in my school district, this would have been in 1984-85. Disciplinary standards were already beginning to weaken even back then...and my tiny isolated town always seemed 20 years behind the rest of the world, so I often wonder how long has America really been in this free fall? Post-WW2? The 50's, 60s, or 70's? Maybe it traces much further back even than tho…

Yeah dude that's exactly what I'm talking about. You got to get over that mindset that the government can only do things that will further pussify everybody. Fuck that. The govt only is that way bc society doesn't have the collective nuts to change it. I'm talking about a magical world where the govt says Winners get trophies & losers get a reason to try harder tomorrow, or at least figure out what it is they're good at and go win that game instead. The government doesn't "do" shit in this case,…

Partially true. The government itself can't do it, can't make people stronger and more confident. You're dead on with that. But what they can do, what they're supposed to do, is create an environment that's conducive to those things. Fertile soil where the well-planted seed can take root and grow strong. Say, for example, they write up some new education protocol that actually encourages kids to be fit and active, or rewards them for standing out in athletics or academically (or even better, bot…

It definitely can and sadly does do just that. But I think it's more of a function of why those advocates tell people they should have high self esteem. Everyone in this sub is pretty much on the same page about that -- we devalue (and rightly so) the weak and pathetic, things like the fat advocacy movement and the culture of entitlement that exixst in the western world. Still though, self esteem for the right reasons is a great thing, nobody would disagree about that. All I'm saying is, don't t…

I dunno my friend, seems like a chicken vs egg question. sometimes self esteem when we have no real empirical reasons for having it allows us to take the risks that lead to the successes that create more self esteem. however, I do dig your point and to some extent agree.

You know, maybe this is not so blue pill after all. Maybe it's a red pill statement. Hear me out... Blue pill betas deny control of their own destiny, and usually in part it's because they lack the self-esteem which is literally the essence of getting up, going out into the world, and making something happen for themselves. Lack of self-esteem could be a major economic problem for a state, because if the population in general doesn't have it, you're going to have a whole state full of people who…

Just my hypothesis here, but i'd wager that MILF porn "seems to be" immensely popular bc a higher percentage of the kind of guys who are beating off to porn on the internet have weird mommy issues, Oedipus complexes, if you will. If they were happy, well-adjusted, sexually healthy adult males, they'd be in healthy relationships and not searching the web for highly specific genres of pornography to get their rocks off to. I think you're totally right. It's like the Id & the Ego & Superego, however that equation works. Lots of Id & Ego here in red pill land -- people who are only interested in getting, and don't consider anybody else in the mix. Compassion is really what sets us apart from the beasts, the ability to put ourselves in someone else's shoes and not just take advantage of them. I have been thinking lately about the limitations of all this red pill / manosphere stuff and that's the main thing that comes…

I really like the fact that you've got Compassion listed as priority numero uno. I feel like that deep sense of humanity is seriously missing from this sub and from the RP community as a whole. Compassion is perhaps the most important human value and the keystone to mastery of one's life. There are way too many angry young men around here just reinforcing one another's negativity and if we're going to succeed in this movement, we can't allow one another to become that which we most despise.

I think a couple of those previous comments say basically this same thing, but i'm going to chime in too. I believe that if you've done things properly, you should have no need to "announce" anything. First of all, your presence will announce itself. You walk into a room as a more confident, stronger, smarter man and you don't NEED to tell anyone about it. Everyone -- male and female -- will notice it on their own. More importantly -- and this is something I hope to elaborate on soon in this sub…

i don't want to downvote that bc it's a relevant question and you're not being a bitch by asking it. here is my reply though. at first, it might feel like prison. you need to really understand some things about being a monk.
