They have a 3D Archery range at my gun club, I really need to check it out.

Perfecting my favorite recipes, and learning how to bake my husband's comfort food from childhood. Planning amazing vacations for the year. Konmari my home again. Did it a few years ago but let it slide and want to get it up to par again. Just finished doing EMDR therapy for most of my traumas. It has been amazing for my mental health and recurrent nightmares. I want to try a woman's only HIIT kickboxing club soon. I get so bored with the regular gym.

When my HV husband pursued me and was hinting at marriage, I had to take a hard look at this idea. I had already been married and had kids, and didn't really expect to marry again. My list: 1) deep companionship/teamwork 2) traveling partner- though I love to travel alone or with friends or family, the traveling we do is on another level that I need 3) combining resources for a better life; my healthcare, housing, travel, gifting budget, cooking and dining out budget, wardrobe, savings...it is a…

I only did it because my husband's last name is far preferable. It is a ton of paperwork, time and money. I still need to update my cell provider and change my passport, and it's been over 2 years. So over it!

I use one for my long straight hair, a gentle microfiber helps prevent breakage. I also dye my hair red and need that separate towel to keep from staining my good body towels.

I served in the Army and Navy. If you have a degree, go officer over enlisted ( for dozens of reasons). I'd recommend the Air Force as your first choice. The Army treated me better overall as a woman. The Navy is rife with sexual harassment and does little to change the culture and the misogyny is so over the top it infiltrates every work interaction. Air Force > Army > Coast Guard > Navy > Marines The Space Force is also a new alternative branch but I know little about their structure and cultu…

Yes it's possible. I live in Texas. If I needed one, I'd need about $1000 for procedure and travel expenses and a drive of no less than 4 hours each way. I would probably try to get the pills first, but I have a nosy HOA lady who oversees the mailboxes when the postman delivers. Would she turn me in if she recognized the packaging? What about the postman? It's scary af.

I live in Texas. I'm older, have a tubal ligation and an IUD. I'm still pretty terrified of what would happen if I got pregnant. It is still always possible even with these precautions. Both of my pregnancies, I knew about 4 weeks along due to having hyperemesis gravidarum (extreme morning sickness). By the time I could figure out I was pregnant, and then make the hard decision to terminate, then make the appointment, I would likely be beyond the 6 week mark. This is insane. Luckily my husband i…

I'm tired of the "female incel" description as well. We are the complete opposite of an incel. Incel means involuntary celibate. We are voluntarily celibate if we are, and we can literally get laid at the drop of a dime because dick is cheap.

SWOP. It's the Sex Worker Outreach Project. They work with incarcerated sex workers to educate, advocate, and help them transition into civilian life. Many sex workers have been trafficked and incarcerated longer than their pimps or traffickers who are responsible for their situation. Most of them just want books, and a friendly person to correspond with.

Though it is rare, genetic anomalies can be passsd down by just you or just your partner. Sometimes you can both carry these genetic issues, so the risk of having a child with that particular problem becomes much higher. The genetic counselors work with your results to give you a numbers based risk analysis to help you both decide if it is safe to have a baby together. Of course they can't test for everything that can go wrong, and random mutations can occur. I have a special needs child. His is…

I have never thought of this for myself, but I did have a friend who used one and got all the dirt for a divorce. Great idea to do this premaritally!

True, I married my new spouse late 30s. His mom lives in a state where you are required to take care of aging parents, either physically or monetarily, known as "filial support" laws. This was a huge concern for me to address.

I am an "independent woman". When considering marrying my spouse, I had to make it clear that I am only getting married to amplify my resources and live a better life. I wasted my 20s married to a NVM, and I had no interest in having a parasite take any more from me in my middle age and beyond. You need to be self-sufficient in order to always be able to extract yourself from a bad situation. So any partner that comes along needs to understand that they can in no way extract your precious resour…

This is why we must continue our education and outreach strategies, while also understanding and valuing our own privilege to be able to choose our mates. There are millions (billions perhaps?) of women who do not have that luxury.

One of my friends is in a poly house/family, about 10 people somehow integrated in different ways. They took holiday pictures last year, and I was frightened by how ugly they were. It looked like a Rickett's support group.

It is absolutely a vetting strategy. Huge red flag if they won't be intimate with you (if you want) during your cycle.

I met my HVM husband volunteering at an organization that is important to us both. It was great because I was able to chat to others about him to begin to vet him, and he was highly regarded by women and men in the volunteer committee.

I'm new to the sub and haven't got my flair yet, the reply will show up later after it's moderated. Yes, GALs are common. The children I adopted had 2 case workers, a GAL, and therapist each to advocate for their welfare. I'm not a fan of the "system", but there are many good people out there trying their best to make it work as best as they can.

Yes. I have fostered and adopted children from the system and have seen firsthand how it works. In the US, this man would have had his parental rights terminated early on, and would not have been able to continue bringing the mother to court. There are horror stories, for sure, and there is still a pervasive desire to reunite children with their birth families despite trauma. But the guardian ad litem/ GAL requirements in the US add an attorney that advocates for the child individually to ensure…

The system is so rigged against women. They gave legal aid to her pedophile ex, while she has to pay 250k in legal fees. They have social services threatening to take her kids if he gets visitation, while having to go to court 37 times to prove why he can't get visitation. Luckily the courts are a bit better in the US than UK for this sort of nonsense. Children are appointed guardian at litem and it would be rare for a case such as this to fall through the cracks like hers. The scary part is tha…

The second strategy is interesting. I dated a guy I would regularly cook for, I make awesome keto meals and he was trying the diet. I truly didn't mind as it's my main hobby, but he would always comment that he can't cook. Then I was on my way out with the girls one night, but had to return his dog's leash to him and popped by unexpectedly. He was cooking a huge steak with onions, garlic, and fresh herbs on a well- seasoned cast iron pan. The look on his face! He knew he was straight up caught i…

So I've thought about this all morning. You're so right, and to anyone reading this, they are not being a scaremonger. I thought about comments she has said over time, and I am now set that this friendship is over, and my safety is definitely in jeopardy.

For sure, she's said a few things that got my hackles up. Luckily I'm too busy doing queen shit to acknowledge her much these days.
