This but unironically. Give me the choice of living like the chinese or living free and risking death, I'll take the latter every time.

So they're admitting they freely choose to take less profitable majors? And that there is nothing stopping them from going for the more profitable majors? That's literally "equal opportunity." How is it anyone else's fault if you choose a lower paying field?

You see how fucking pants on head retarded this is? I as a customer come to eat a meal. You tell me the meal costs 10 bucks. I pay 10 bucks for the meal. I trust that the business has a business model that is sustainable and that they can pay their employees. But you are fully aware that's not how it is set up. You are knowingly being a fucking asshole.

The prices in a restaurant are lower because they don't pay their waiters a normal wage. The wage is expected to be paid in tips. You are fully aware of that and yet you refuse to tip because you don't like that system. You aren't "taking a stand" or sending a message to that restaurant, you're fucking over someone making $3 an hour because you're too much of a cheap asshole. If you genuinely don't like that system, then don't eat at a full service restaurant. Side note: Do you really think that…

My question is why he wouldn't call the police Man versus a woman in a dispute with her claiming he hit her. Even though he would get off, he would likely still get questioned which is a waste of his time as well as a chance of being arrested and wasting even more time. Crazy bitch probably doesn't have much in the way of patience so waiting her out was the fastest way to solve the issue.

ability to understand nuance and act accordingly, making the punishment fit the crime. Yeah I'm not opposed to someone dying because they raped a 5 year old.

Speaking of which, is anyone else's "male privilege free money" check late this month? Hope mine didn't get lost in the mail.

Pointing it out on a public forum may help other people to realize that they themselves need to better evaluate things if they're in a similar situation. If I'm talk to person A and say "you should have watched out for thing 1, 2, and 3" while it doesn't undo what happened to A, my comment may be read by person B, C, D, and E who realize "oh shit, that's happening in my life, I'm in an unsafe situation and didn't realize it."

Saying something is a "right" means it is something bound by law. That's the whole point OP is trying to make, that you can't legislate to cater to feelings. You yourself just said outlawing it is a stretch. There's a difference between doing something that can be viewed as a dick move and doing something that is illegal which is all he was trying to suggest.

Chances are if they feel unsafe there probably is some sort of danger. I have a close friend, very intelligent, level headed person. She has told a story about the time, in her words, "she was almost raped." She was 20 at the time and said she would help a guy with some music lessons at his apartment (a bit older guy, married and had a kid.) She went over to his apartment and was chatting for a bit with him and he went to kiss her. She stopped him and he looked confused about it. She explained t…

Saying someone man or woman who was abused should take responsibility for not seeing certain things is a bit of an dick thing to say. A lot of victim blaming can be bad but there is a certain point that reasonable people start to carry some blame. I mean, would you throw on a tux and a gold watch and walk around any of these neighborhoods (Top 25 most dangerous neighborhoods in America ) at 3am? Sure you didn't deserve to be attacked and are a victim but can't you admit that maybe being there to…

He said they didn't have a right to feel safe as in there is no law nor is there a way to make a law to ensure someones personal perceived feelings.

Think stuff like cat calling. If you're a woman walking out during the evening and you pass by a group of men that cat call you - you're going to feel very unsafe although statistically the chances of them doing anything illegal in this situation is very low. Are you suggesting that there should be some sort of law against talking to strangers in public? Should they arrest someone because someone else had an arbitrary feeling of not feeling safe? That's what he meant when he was saying you don't…

You can't even offer an alternate point of view without being told you're wrong. I mean I'm fine with people commenting back that they think someone is wrong about something as dialogue is often good to have. However banning them for this is entirely different and is absurd.

"Well, other people have the same problem!" which is just irrelevant, really, and does nothing to actually address the problem. The thing is that if a lot of others face the exact same problem then it would seem it isn't sexist issue. I mean the idea of feminism is equality for women right? If someone says "there are starving women in Africa" isn't it fair to say "yeah but there are starving men and children too..." because doing so is simply pointing out that it is not in fact an issue caused b…

Not fully in the frame, has tits but no stomach shown. She has no visible collar bones. Trust me, there's plenty of ways to hide fat but plenty of clues to see through it.

This is an image that is linked directly from Facebook. And anyone can go look at it on Facebook if they want. Again that is a publicly viewable image. What does it matter that it's an image link from Facebook? It isn't her actual Facebook page that we're being directed to, just a url of an image. People were saying that "Angela" is a bad person based on the original post too, so by your logic that is "breaking" those two rules as well. I'm so sick of people thinking that the internet is their p…

It's a publicly posted image... that's like saying "I don't think people should be allowed to look at me when I'm outside on the sidewalk."
