2	"Open letter to my male friends" To me, it sounded like she had generalized every new man she meets as a potential attacker, to the point that she has to mentally brace for it every time someone catches her gaze. I can certainly see what that generalization is dangerous. However, isn't it true, even if it leads to an undesirable outcome (for both parties)? All men are potential attackers. Also, what does "have it all" even mean? Why does she assume that there is any value in me knowing what it's like for her to be a woman? There is value in understanding the experiences of others and being able to empathize with them because it gives you more perspective from which to view life.
