It doesn't matter if you're a nice person. If no one fancies you it's unlikely anyone's going to shag you. A lot of men go on ab9ut their non physical attributes as though they're better prospective partners than good looking men. Whereas ugly men do not automatically have better personalities.

That's an issue for that group of course, but if everyone is a free agent then they have to only act in their main interests. If a woman would rather wait for a man she really wants to be with or stay single then she's just doing what's best for her. But if she does "settle" then men on this sub would say she was settling for beta bucks. Women can't win that game, and even if they could, what's the prize? A pilled guy?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/24 03:39 PM

Did chat gpt write this? If women have a high standard which she doesn't find, and has no issue with that, then she is simply following a rational logic that doesn't suit you. That's not necessarily a systemic issue, if one assumes that the individuals within that system are free to prioritise their own goals.

I think your last paragraph is a little unfair as you have drawn the lines of this debate with being in a relationship assumed to be a desirable outcome. Autistic women, including 'high functioning" (lower needs) absolutely are made vulnerable by their autism in a way which is specifically compounded by their gender. When it comes to dating, not all autistic women are shy wallflowers. That seems like a stereotype to me. Are there standards of masculinity which exclude autistic men disproportiona…

That would imply an actual argument was made. I assumed it was a throwaway Internet comment and responded in kind.

Men: men are visual creatures, women are not Also men: women liking tall men is quite literally fascism

If average men with below average views on women wish to rule themselves out of the marriage it does not put my nose out of joint.

If you're saying it's egocentric to define work in your own gender role, how is your last sentence anything other than hypocrisy?

The study you're referencing regarding domestic violence states that lesbian and bisexual women are more likely to have experienced domestic violence, not the gender of the perpetrator. Couples divorcing and domestic violence are not like and the like. But clearly you don't actually care about the safety of lesbians and bisexual women, you're just trying to use us to make some under researched point of "women bad".

What are you even talking about? You've said nothing of value one way or the other. If you had an actual idea to debate I would but you just seem to be scowling at me from across the Internet, so with that i bow out 🫡

This report says twice as many women have experienced interpersonal violence? I've not said I don't care about men experiencing abuse. I was questioning assuming the gender as the conversation seemed to be tipping towards presuming women are guilty. Now as I said I care about the rate of which men are abused. Do you care about women being abused? I don't see your type emphatically saying they care about women's welfare and yet will throw a pan at the head of feminists and demand we explicitly st…

I've just got up the report. And I've not found any reference to this statistic. Would you mind sharing me the page it's on? Thanks.

Didn't that girl get murdered in America cos the police thought she was the aggressor? I'm looking for statistics.

You're deluded if you think women aren't hetitny excessive criticism for every single little thing. Talk about what it's like to walk in your own shoes.

So if a straight couple calls in domestic violence the woman should be presumed to be the aggressor? I'm interested where you hot this statistic from?

Red pill men say women either look out for each other too much or not enough. Competitiveness amongst women exists, I plainly did not say contrary, nor is what I've said an assumption as it's based on experience. Why is what you've said not an assumption, or prejudice? When it comes to predatory men, women aren't trying ton undermine each other ime.

No one has been able to evidence that, that's just men assuming they know the motives of women without a shred of evidence.

My exes and short term relationships I've been more attracted than the average hook up easily. I have higher standards for a face I'm going to see a lot, have sober Sunday morning sex with etc. Whereas I've definitely been bit pissed and had good craic with a guy and ended up shagging even though he wasn't my usual type.

So perhaps the woman that doesn't have a man trying to chat her up is free to come aid her friends? I haven't seen anything to suggest you have an insight into what you describe as a "landwhale". I don't know why that's even an insult, whales are fucking beautiful.

Someone ending a long distance relationship because there's no plans to not be long distance sounds like the most normal thing ever, not sure why you need to try and bring gender in it when you've only heard this fellas side. I don't know a single person whose been ghosted by someone they've been seriously dating, its strange to me that you have three anecdotes ready to go with presumably more up there going by the ease with which you mentioned them.

Sounds like a tripe with enough traction to be called a stereotype, regardless you're splitting hairs because you still haven't sent these population statistics you had. Where are they?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/24 10:03 PM

You're making an assumption on the correlation here, I absolutely believe that the majority of women who are concerned about age gap relationships experienced one or witnessed one when they were younger. I know I was given similar life lessons by older women when I was younger which I appreciated a lot. The average man does not care for his fellow man in the same way women do fir better or worse, and so OP has to assume that women doing this is because of their own selfish reasoning because the …

You're the one whose said I've only got it from the media, I'm saying I've experienced it personally, as well as it being a broader stereotype. My anecdotal evidence absolutely is evidence, it of course is very limited, but that does not mean it has less validity.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/24 09:35 PM

You're assuming that a woman that you specifically consider uglier could therefore only have that as a reason. There's just too many assumptions for that to be much more than a shower thought, especially as you seem reticent to explore that it's you specifically whose experiencing this.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/24 09:33 PM
1

Yes a stereotype is reproduced within media, but it's something I've definitely experienced. What's your reasoning, beyond a little hunch?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/24 08:36 PM
55

What evidence do you have that outweighs what women themselves say on this? There's only ever 3 reasons I, other women or men I'm friends with do this 1) we have to go 2) man's giving creep vibes and/or she looks uncomfortable or 3) she's too drunk. I'll presume the last one isn't applying, so unless you're flirting at the taxi rank, you're either not as good at reading women's cues as you think, or your charm doesn't outweigh the negative impression you get about your vibe.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/24 03:47 PM
3

That's my point, there is a stereotype regarding dominant men being the opposite of what you said. You've shown no evidence to the contrary, I'm eager to read your population statistics you mentioned. ETA is there a particular reason you chose to respond with rudeness instead of backing up your own reasoning?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/24 03:39 PM
5

When you say population statistics, do you have any to show? You've made a massive assumption. Dominant men are almost the stereotypical sexually submissive type man. (Which itself can be amazing, sexual submission done well by a man is quite rare). I really don't think they match up in the ways you've assumed. Out of interest, are you a woman whose slept with men?

I've met men with fading looks who used to be a looker and they do seem a bit lonely. I hope people can find community and connection whether or not they find a romantic relationship.

This isn't the same thing as being an alpha though. What a man is like out and about doesn't really connect with how he is in bed, in my experience at least. There's a lot of shy unassuming guys who are a phenomenal shag, and the opposite as well. I'm sure a lot of the couples who pill types might consider an alpha widow and a beta actually have an amazing physical connection.

You've conflated two distinct periods of feminist history.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/24 02:51 PM

Yes, there are core values I would want to share with a partner. We don't need to have identifical views or politics, but tory is just too far from my own values that I would not be able to connect with someone longterm.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/24 06:44 PM

You're publicly ridiculing a woman for being angry.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/24 12:51 PM

Women's anger is rarely discussed at all, and when it is someone like you will dismiss out of hand. Your response really just contradicts your own post.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/24 12:25 PM

Well, the initial sell was on being able to have the right to vote, but campaigning against rape was certainly a bit of a goer.

I agree to some extent. I personally don't aim to date single parents, and I filter it out on dating apps. But I know if I met someone that had kids and the spark was there and it seemed like we had a similar vision for our relationship that I would l try it. So I don't consider having kids a deal breaker, it's just a rather not. Whereas I would never date someone who voted tory, that's a hard deal breaker for me.

I don't see how this could be easily quantified, what one person considers modest another may find it provocative as you say. As well, different body shapes receive different judgements for the same outfit.

Your examples of women being prejudiced against men are all examples of their space being violated, or the fear of it doing so. Your examples of men being prejudiced are examples of their relationship contract being breached in some way. I don't think it's morally wrong for men to have some reservations and fears regarding women especially when they've had poor experiences. But I don't think you can label those two different types of bias as being one and the same.

I'm simply responding to the question as asked and sharing my perspective. However there's many women like me, as evidenced by who they choose to date.

Why do you consider viewpoints which don't align with yours to be merely anecdotal? How is your experience any less anecdotal than mine? I absolutely do prefer feminine men, but I have dated all sorts.

Most people would be more attractive to more people if they got a better haircut that accentuated their features. No not everyone will be model looks, but everything I've seen a guy post of a picture of himself in the context of discussing his lack of sex appeal, often their haircut could be improved. Irt balding there's been a massive increase in the quality of the options, and ultimately i absolutely am regularly attracted to men who've said fuck it and just gone totally bald. For me hair real…
