I've been trying to get into this as well. Got any good resources?

My issue with VCB is at the beginning, Javier Bardem was indeed RP. But he was made to be weak later on to progress the story. His character is made to be inconsistent it's a whole 180 turnaround. It's like two different people in different parts of the movie.

That female Yahoo CEO burnt billions of company networth. And what did she get out of it? A fucking golden parachute... She was incredibly incompetent. She only got the job because of wokeness...

For the immediate future, this is going to suck. Because it's an LTR. And you'll probably question your decision. Thoughts of the good times you two had will come up and you might have the urge to reconsider. A tinge of regret will come up every now and then. But IMHO, you did the right thing. You'd probably be raped in one way or another if you further invest your time and energy with her. Will we know for sure? NO. And there in lies staring into the abyss.

Technologically advanced, liberal societies have no use for masculinity. I would argue a little differently here. Today, more than ever, there is a need for masculinity. But it's in the leadership role. Even though feminists are loud and fill up a lot of media, the vast silent majority are normal regular people. And normal regular people would want a leader of some sort. They want the assertive person who would take charge. It is the path of least effort. Instead of taking over themselves, it is…

I think that's a great way of describing it. The "on YOUR behalf" part really gets you there. You serve you. Your actions reflect the love of yourself. That you respect yourself prior to others.

This is the evil in a lot of women. "If I don't like you, I will work behind the scenes to sabotage you." Civilizations are built by thinking things rationally. And they die with this kind of shitty thinking.

My criteria for things I read here are I replay my past experiences and if the post holds up, then it gains legitimacy as a likely truth of life. This process kind of mimics the scientific process of theories. I'm confident to say that not only does this hold up, but also explains certain phenomenon I've experienced. For example, women hate it when someone who has no education wants to date them. I couldn't get a full explanation why, just accept that that's the case. just a corollary of hyperga…

From the Philippines here. A lot of what is said on TRP is pretty accurate. The difference is the culture. For starters, it is not a hookup culture. So things happen more discreetly. But the women's mindsets, the decision processes, the sexual prime directives are pretty much head on. It's just the formulation of the strategies are where they differ as it is colored by the cultural contexts. For example, don't have an SJW culture, but from my experience women in my country, just like in others w…

I'm a contrarian in that i hope this happens 10x as often and let me tell you why. The cops who are typically men will grow tired of the bullshit. "oh, another one of these eh". sensible women who dont do this kind of thing will not jump to a guilty conclusion like what's happening in the poundmetoo movement. I hope this happens many more often and 95%of men get these accusations. i think it will help move the world wake up to the ridiculousness of all this.

TRP was becoming a caricature of itself. The problem is that the influx of new people is drowning out the good posts. A group of a few dozens are no match from the upvote power of thousands. I wonder if this can be remedied by having mods and tagged contributors to be the only ones to upvote / downvote? (not sure if this is possible, but would be great).

/u/mattyanon thanks for this bit of advice. it's applicable to my current situation. I've been lifting and have caught the attention of 4 girls. anyway I set up logistics to meet with each of them. and I try to apply what I learned here in text messages. of course it feels a little unnatural for me. but what you said is like a eureka moment for me. this is the mindset needed to go from faking it to embodying it.

posts like this reminds me why trp should never be democratic and why reddit is not the best platform unless posts are heavily checked. thanks for the clarification. I admit that I too had an incorrect understanding of afbb, and I suspect that a lot of it stems out from reading posts with incorrect usage of it.

I like this because it has a practical way to get to establishing frames. most posts on this topic speak about it abstractly. but I think it's lacking in some aspects. so let me add my take on it. frame also involves who you think you are in an interaction. and I'm not talking about things like "I'm a company vice president", "I'm a hotshot athlete", etc. it's who you are and how you feel about yourself before any particular context of an interaction fills up an interaction.

I'm more sad that the OP, instead of learning TRP, is upset that this happened. "Look at how shitty women are!" This is such beta thinking. Instead, look at how to see it on the other side: somebody was able to make the girl feel tingles enough that she cheats on her bf. I mean isn't that what most posts here are about?

these are people who live in their shells and have no fucking idea of how brutal life can be without the shelters of a country like the USA. You go to a non-first world country and the women there are more polite. Why? Because they know that men are bigger and more physically powerful; and they respect that. They need a protector against other men who might do them harm. This chick totally got what she deserves. Oh you think you're the shit and can go toe-to-toe with men? Well, get ready for a n…

Funny I was reading about Speed 2 actor Jason Patric last night. His case was somewhat the opposite. He and his then partner had IVF and conceived a son. When they separated he fought for many years to be recognized as the father. But his ex partner and the state argue that he's just a sperm donor since they didn't marry.

This post has one of those pieces of knowledge that leaves you somewhat separate from the rest of the world, similar to Adam and Eve's apple. You're no longer innocent and the people around you--who don't know any better--would never believe what you're saying.

TRP then is not to win the sexual marketplace per se, but to enable one to break through the ceiling of a sexual communist society

TRP is indeed a cult. in the same vein that a council of tribal elders initiating young men into manhood is a cult; in the same vein a father teaches his son his philosophy and craft is a cult; in the same vein that an exclusive club of freemasons was a cult.

If I may offer an unpopular theory as to why this has happened to you. To put it bluntly, you had a weak frame. She felt it was be easy to walk all over you. You don't see this happening to guys with strong frames. I have had this problem myself in the past. Women are just NASTY... She was able to do this because does not respect you... and maybe you can use this as an important feedback on what you can work on in your life. Hope this helps.

Totally funny how this has not gotten any attention. it's pretty helpful. What you label as "tilting", I call "toxic", such as work, relationships and life in general. And my form of refuge are in mini vacations, or general "me times". I do agree that in our efforts to improve ourselves, we do need to "rest" or our minds and spirits. Otherwise, it can burn us out and I speak from first hand experience with this. I'm a type A personality and a go getter. But it can feel like instead of doing it a…

I like this post, because it's coming from the perspective of real TRP. And it's nice to not see whiny anger-phase posts for a change. I got a few questions though: You didn't touch on the subject of multiple plates. I infer you do have them, since you can just walk away from someone if they aren't behaving properly. Do your plates know that there are others? Do you bring it up yourself, or Do you keep it unsaid until they bring it up?

It basically boils down to this: When doing something, dig deep within you, is there a happiness "payoff" you're hoping for at the end? I am going to work hard for my boss, because can reward me if I do. (This is a contract) I am going to shower this girl with affection... in the hopes I'll get love and reverse the abandonment I've been feeling all my life (This is a contract) I want to chew gum and fuck bitches but I'm out of gum (This is not a contract)

I like it. It gave me not just an insight but also a framework to build on. I reviewed my experiences on women who I got hooked, and in the course of the interaction, somehow I stumbled on making sexual jokes that they were receptive to. They would have neutral reaction then, and I thought I made a fool of myself. But on a next meeting, they would more overtly show signs of interests.

Yes, it does sound like frame! However, it is subtly different. My take on it is this: when you have strong boundary, you will act with what we call frame. IMHO, what we call frame actually does not exist, it's simply a by-product of this. Kinda like how rainbow is a by product of rain.

It's funny I've been thinking of this a lot lately. And what I'm coming up with is different: Instead of Liking everyone, it is of paramount importance to have strong boundaries. What I noticed is that by having strong boundaries, you wouldn't feel threatened. You don't get flustered when things don't go your way and you can easily say no and disagree completely with the person(s) you're talking to. When I cannot feel threatened, I can be more loving towards others. I am kinder and gentler towar…

I hold the view that they did show us what could be possible in a time when they didn't have something like trp to build on. they worked with what's available at the time and with the hand that was dealt to them. Now, it's a reminder of possible pitfalls of going through this self improvement process where it's not a genuine change and based on your truths.
