Who are these people who say you are immature if you don't go after a woman with kids? Are they women? Are they married themselves? With what authority do they claim this? Give me a break. Seems to me your experience is sufficient for you to pay attention to, yes? You are vulnerable right now and these so-called friends want you to throw yourself back into the most complicated of relationships against your own experience? NO entanglements with single mothers. Avoid them. If anything, tap and run…

I'll be blunt. You gotta stop doing that. We teach people how to treat us. You've created a spoiled individual and have given her all of the power. Many women lose respect for a man who gives too much. They do not want to be married to a simp, regarding him as weak. You're not interesting anymore. As in, the more you try, the more turned off she gets. Consider identifying what your needs are and putting them first, and letting her notice that, showing some indifference. And staying that way movi…

The fact that she has no problem with lying with fake assault charges tells me you must protect yourself from future attempts. Ideally, do not be in the same house as her and when you are, have an adult witness with you. What does your lawyer say about this?

"I was killing myself to make her happy." There was your mistake. You gave her all of the power. And she knew it. "Once she saw how apathetic I was about divorce, she backed out. I think she thought divorce would punish me." There's where she realized she did not have all of the power. Keep her knowing she does not have the power. That you have it. I wish human beings did not have to be managed like that. Especially ones you are married to.

May I gently say that you do not have all the information with which to conclude that it was you. Consider that there are one or more unspoken truths roaming around in her head that are external to your marriage, perhaps even pre-existing it. You'd be amazed what women come up with as their reasons. On a less gentle note, have you been a husband who pedestalizes her? A husband who caters excessively to her? Would you know if you were one of those guys? Women can end up not respecting such men to…

My response is to frustrate the attempt to mess with me. In your case, don't be at the gym when she is there. Or switch to another gym.

And her daughter learns she can ride this out with no consequence and learns she can do this again as an adult.

Because it's always popular to indulge areas of soft feelings and who will go up against that? So, don't go up against it by making comparison to Fathers Day. Quit whining about women (it's what they want). Instead, promote Fathers Day on its own, or transfer your interest from Mothers Day to Fathers Day,

How many washing machines does it take before she knows to not overfill it, and to change the filter regularly?

My mother had three kids when her husband left her. She then got pregnant with me from a guy who came around. I was 13 months old when my step-father married her, a woman with 4 kids. This was 1957. He died in 1999. A year or three later, I met the neighbor who had been a next-door neighbor friend to my dad. A neighbor whose name I had heard for years through my parents. The neighbor happened to tell me that Dad once told him that, if he had to do it all over again, he never would have gotten ma…

Thank you for your reply. I see you as a good guy who knows he can make a difference in helping balance out the imbalance when someone is being picked on. Over 40 years ago I was a slight young man of 19 who was being picked on by a coworker who was larger and obnoxious and played tough and got away with it at work. Why he picked on me, I do not know, except he knew he could. I had no skills for what to do and was scared of him for how far he might go even if I dared challenge him. I confided in…

Regarding comments here that gay men are excluded from MGTOW, the following may be worth considering of our gay brethren: As time marches on, many people may not realize that a couple of generations ago, pre-internet, gay men were deeply in the closet and some had married innocently naive women for a cover and kept their secret from her and some did not know they were gay because there was no internet and nothing out there to compare themselves to. A surprising number of these men thought if the…

I was best man at my older brother's second wedding. His ex-wife got re-married either the week before or the week after, I can't recall, and I've since thought they were in a race with each other to see who got re-married first. Anyway, I am standing next to my brother the groom at the front of the audience, as we face the aisle to see his new bride-to-be start her walk, when he leans over and whispers to me, "I can't believe I am doing this!". He's now twice divorced. She dumped him for a guy …

Yeah, worth it. I've owned my mid-century house for 25 years. In that time, I replaced the roof, replaced the water heater, a kitchen faucet, and a garbage disposal. Re-caulked the tub. In 25 years. Actually, I paid others to replace that stuff. I do mow the lawn and trim the foliage but I like getting outside. Oh, I did pay to replace the fence and cabana roof years ago. Every two years I pay to have my furnace inspected. My house is brick so I don't need to repaint it. Inside the house, same c…

I don't see the programming. I see that you weighed the factors. You were aware of your relative size to the dog, your knowledge of this breed, your muscular strength, your confidence in yourself and how you might take down the dog, and your level of comfort with the risk involved based on these factors. You added to your evaluation her relative size to the dog, her relative strength, her inability to flee with child, and what you know about how women may freeze in the face of danger. You knew y…

Work hard and live below your means and invest in a disciplined manner. Let me strongly echo the advice above. I practiced this all of my long life and then, one day, I realized that finally, finally, I was at that place in my life for which I had always worked and saved. I could now reap the harvest. I retired at age 56 when my peers thought this was too early. Ha, too bad for them that they followed their own formula. I'm not rich but, if I never made one more cent of interest, I'd still have …

The good guy ends up as her last choice, after she has spent her twenties in the dating game doing everything except building her character. The nice guy becomes her last choice because no one else has fallen to her immaturity and, without her having built her character, the nice guy gets a girl with undeveloped character who only knows how to operate a guy. In fact, all she sees in the nice guy at this point is not him but what he can bring her, namely future security. The nice guy is a tool, t…

This is the type of complaining I do not take seriously. While men make camaraderie through having a beer, women connect to other women via complaining. She doesn't see, or doesn't care, that she is in control of trimming that ridiculous list. That 's why i think she is exaggerating on purpose, as a way to reach out to other women for connection. That's what they do. Hubby knows this and ignores her.

And just how are men going to apply this gel to their own backs and shoulders effectively? By trusting a woman to do it? That's as bad as giving her a condom and a needle to poke holes in it. I can see him doing the tops of his own shoulders. But his back?

I always thought it was a feminist misfire to have a girl defying the bull. Who wants to challenge a bull market? Only someone who doesn't get it. Better that she should have been challenging the bear. That makes more sense. Don't expect women to understand about money, not even here, and I suppose they wanted to teach girls to defy without thinking things through. Ah, but we knew that...

I got tired of the lady barbers making boring small talk with me, so when they asked me what I did, I told them I was a gynocologist. No further inquiries.

When a feminist says "man up", what she means is "put on this leash". When a feminist says men are boys who play video games in their Mom's basement, she is saying men "don't want to put on the leash".

Hmm. It sounds like you think you will somehow uncontrollably start flashing your assets in front of the ladies when you get older. Keepa you mouth shut when around them. But, if you plan to improve your wardrobe in later years like a GQ guy, go for it but never stand around posing, ever. Don't dress to show off or you asked for it. Dress only for yourself. Stay on task and don't make eye contact unless you have a business reason or the building is on fire.

If you can understand a 5-year-old's inconsistencies, why are men still acting like women can do better?

Women are just children with pubic hair. Men, you are sexually attracted to psychological minors. They are children in adult bodies, their mental maturity occurs much later in adult life, like 60, and the laws recognize childhood in women just like it recognizes childhood in children. All discussions here are actually advice for how to cope with female children who are legally the age of majority. Men do not husband women, they parent them.
