The average age in China is not low... at all. The women who fought in the Red Army against the Nazis would probably disagree with you. But more to the point, how do you judge the effectiveness of a county’s armed forces? Kill to casualty ratio? Kills to ammunition fired ratio? The US armed forces is objectively less effective since WW2, if you count how many conflicts have been won outright. Your statement is predicated on the assumption that all labour is valued the same. It’s clearly not, and can’t be. Why should an unskilled factory worker be compensated the same as an engineer or doctor who invested thousands in their own education, and provides a much higher value to their employer and society as a whole? Capitalism incentivizes value. Provide more, and you receive more rewards.
