"[the] barber shop refused to simply run the clippers through my daughter’s undercut" - says it all really

Not a problem. The author of the Independent article probably didn't even bother reading the article. If she had of then she wouldn't be calling "attempted suicide" a "minor side effect". What I just can't wrap my head around is why the female contraceptive pill has all of a sudden become a burden. It has done so much to liberate women but the author spins it to make it look like another type of oppression.

Can you organise to pick up your daughter from school? This would help deal with seeing your daughter more too seeing as the custody arrangement you have doesn't seem to suit you.

Not everyone lives in America. I should have specified that this would be an Australian scholarship.

This is fantastic news. Quick question, does any know what happens if you've already bought tickets through eventbrite?

I'm all for women only scholarships for STEM as I'd love to see more young (or whatever age) women get into science and I'd be happy so support supplementation of that so long as there were male only scholarships for female dominated areas. But this isn't a scholarship to study,it's a job. A 3 year research only fellowship position x5 (approx. $80-90ishK + 17.5% super + $20K top-up) with the added benefit of a transition into a teaching position once the research fellowship is completed i.e. you…

Yeah, especially how you never see the reverse happening i.e. male only roles in nursing, early childhood education or similar areas in which they are "disadvantaged"

As someone who considers themselves left on the political spectrum this saddens me, it's just gone too far. Completely one sided and biased, while I'm all for kids being taught about respect for one another this is far from a rational discourse or discussion.

I've been trying to get in touch with Clementine Ford to see if she could help organise an apology for this guy seeing as a very large number of people said some very nasty things... I won't hold my breathe.
