I wonder if that site is just out of date. There are several schemes in existence. The 1993 and 2003 schemes are with the Csa and are being closed down. The 2012 scheme is the one administered by the new Child Maintenance Service. It is possible that the site is referring to one of the old schemes. I only have knowledge of the 2012 scheme but I would be surprised to find that the old schemes took that much. Keep in mind though that even if a paying parent has huge arrears on their case, the law …

I think the gov.uk website is a more reliable source than that one. Your percentages were wrong.

That isnt correct at all. 1 child = 12% 2 children = 16% 3 or more children = 19% Source page 18

I work in child maintenance. I also grew up in a house with my mother where my father funded her lavish lifestyle while he worked his ass off. While my dad is almost certainly my dad, anything to make the system more balanced I'd welcome.

can you point me to a source for that? Apparently /u/tanq45 cannot.

I recently started working in child maintenance...being able to stop child maintenance cases because the child is lucky enough to have 50/50 care is a delight. I was a child in a case where the mother had the upper hand, and nothing pleases me more than hearing a child getting parented by both mum and dad.

Interesting fact...In the UK, the offence of rape requires the offender to have a penis. S1 Sexual Offences Act 2003 Rape (1) A person (A) commits an offence if— (a) he intentionally penetrates the vagina, anus or mouth of another person (B) with his penis, Also you can't be raped in the ear.

In law he could almost certainly be successful claiming self defence. The video is pretty clear. But the sad thing is, he probably wont work with kids again. Schools and parents expect teachers to let themselves be assaulted.

It's an abserd example in this context. Rising and setting refers to the suns relationship to the horizon. Sun rise and sun set times exist in fact...there is no deception.

Out of all the things you could have chosen as examples of cultural deceptions, you choose the rising and setting of the sun. Moron.

This was fucking pathetic and I cant believe reddit allowed it to get to the front page. A lot of redditors obviously identified with his pitiful situation.
