I've always wanted to learn how to play the piano. Never looked into it too seriously, but a couple weeks ago I found myself looking up digital pianos on Amazon. I've been looking at either the Yamaha p71 or the p125. Any thoughts on what I should pick up?

It's just too easy for me to let audio fade into the background if I'm listening while doing something. 15 minutes later I suddenly realize I haven't been listening haha. It's kind of like when you read a couple paragraphs but didn't really take it in so you have to read it again.

I like that I can press down on a word I'm unfamiliar with and it brings up the definition. If I could change anything, I'd add an SD card slot and a headphone jack for listening to audio books, or just l…

Thanks for reminding me about The Road. I meant to look into it but it completely slipped my mind. Great movie.

I often hear people talk about how a job gives them a sense of purpose, satisfaction, pride, or direction. That without a job they wouldn't know what to do with themselves. I've never understood that. I don't gain any of those things from work. Work has always just been suffering pain and irritation in exchange for chump change that allows me to live another day for the pleasure of going right back to work. Being around other people is stressful and exhausting even when I'm not at work. It's onl…
